Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a wall cabinet with an extractor hood and with a fastening system.
  • the EP 0 535 566 A1 discloses a wall made up of a plurality of releasably connected panels.
  • two plates are arranged next to one another and can be pivoted relative to one another via an axis running in the vertical direction.
  • the panels are connected by the hinge. This is formed by a leg and a further leg, which can be pivoted with the aid of a sleeve with an internal thread.
  • the axis of the hinge defines the pivot axis of the panels.
  • the hinge is fastened both at the top and at the bottom by means of pegs engaging the adjacent panels at the edge.
  • a fastening device which consists of a holding device and a receiving device, the holding device being attached to a bathroom wall with a base plate. If required, spacer elements can be arranged between a holding part and the base plate, through which the distance between the bathroom wall and a guide ring can be varied.
  • the fastening device has a holding device and a receiving device, the receiving device being formed by a carrier and a locking device. The carrier is held on a holder and between the holder and the carrier there are shims which are rasterized on the respective support surfaces and whereby the distance between bathroom wall and guide ring can be varied.
  • a device for extracting kitchen fumes is disclosed.
  • a ceiling attachment for an island hood is disclosed on the ceiling with the aid of an annular flange.
  • a vertical support tube connects to the flange, which at the lower end receives a pivot bearing in which a first pivot arm is attached, which is formed radially from the support tube and at its distal end a joint in the form of a second support tube consisting of an upper part and has a lower part.
  • a second rotary arm extends from the lower part in the radial direction and is connected to the lower part via a rotary bearing with the support tube.
  • the free end of the second pivot arm ends in a further support tube which has a pivot bearing in which the extractor hood is rotatably arranged.
  • EP 0 453 829 A1 is a hinge with a hinge arm that can be fastened to a piece of furniture or the like by a fastening plate.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to create a solution by means of which the installation of the extractor hood in the piece of furniture can be simplified and yet the exact positioning of the extractor hood in the piece of furniture can be ensured.
  • the invention is based on the knowledge that this object can be achieved in that at least one element is provided on a holding device for setting or compensating for distances between the holding device and the fastening surface.
  • the object is therefore achieved by a wall cabinet and extractor hood with a fastening system having the features according to claim 1.
  • a holding device is a device which can be fastened to a vertical fastening surface, in particular a cabinet wall, and which can interact with at least part of a fastening device on the extractor hood to hold the extractor hood.
  • a device is referred to as a holding device which can be attached to a wall, preferably a cupboard wall of a wall cabinet and by means of which the extractor hood can be held in the cabinet in cooperation with the fastening device on the extractor hood.
  • the holding device according to the invention is also referred to below as a wall mount.
  • Flat screen hoods in particular can be used as extractor hoods.
  • the cupboard wall to which the holding device is attached is preferably the inside of a cupboard wall, in particular the inside of a cupboard side wall of a wall cupboard, which can also be referred to as a top cupboard Wall cabinet with at least two holding devices according to the invention attached to the inside of the wall cabinet.
  • the holding device comprises a base body.
  • the base body has a base plate and a holding projection.
  • a flat surface of the holding device is referred to here as a base plate, one side of which rests against the cabinet wall when the holding device is in the assembled state.
  • the side of the base plate and the base body which, in the assembled state, faces the cabinet wall to which this holding device is attached is also referred to below as the rear side of the base plate or the base body.
  • other directions such as front, top and bottom, also relate to the holding device in the state attached to the cabinet wall.
  • the front of the holding device faces away from the wall unit to which this holding device is attached and the rear side rests against the wall unit.
  • At least one through hole is made in the base plate.
  • a fastening element for example a screw, can be passed through the through holes and the holding device can be fastened to the cabinet wall via this.
  • the holding device can thus comprise at least one fastening element which is passed through one of the through holes.
  • the through hole can also be referred to as a screw hole.
  • at least four through holes are provided in the base plate at one level next to one another.
  • the base body also has a holding projection for holding the extractor hood.
  • the retaining projection is formed on the base plate.
  • the retaining projection is used to engage part of a fastening device which is provided on the extractor hood.
  • the holding projection is therefore oriented away from the rear of the holding device and thus away from the base plate in the direction of the front of the holding device. In the mounted state of the holding device on the inside of a side wall of a wall cabinet, the holding projection is thus directed into the interior of the wall cabinet.
  • At least one spacer element is molded onto the base body.
  • An integrally formed element is preferably understood here to be an element which is formed in one piece with the base body.
  • the spacer element is particularly preferably molded onto the base plate of the base body.
  • the spacer element can, for example, be injection molded onto the base plate.
  • a spacer element is understood to be an element which is used to set a distance or to compensate for a distance.
  • the spacer element can be used to change the distance between the rear of the base plate and the cabinet wall to which the base plate is attached.
  • the spacing element can be used to set the distance between an edge of the base plate and thus the through holes in the base plate from an edge of the cabinet wall.
  • a spacer element which is a spacer plate, is movably connected to the base plate.
  • the spacer element can be connected to the base plate in such a way that it is permanently movable with respect to the base plate.
  • a flexible connecting element such as a hinge or Hinge is provided between the base plate and the spacer element.
  • at least one of the spacer elements is only temporarily movable relative to the base plate. This means that the position of the spacer element relative to the base plate can be changed in at least one state and the position of the spacer element relative to the base plate is fixed in another state.
  • the relative position can be fixed by an additional fixing means, such as a latching arm on the spacer element, by means of which the spacer element can be fixed on the base plate in a position pivoted about a hinge, for example.
  • the fixing to the base plate can also be done by rigid connecting means, which can represent connecting webs, for example.
  • rigid connecting means are designed in such a way that the connection between the base plate and the spacer element can be canceled, for example by severing the connecting means. In the released state, the spacer element can then be moved away from the base plate.
  • the spacer element can cover an otherwise existing distance between the holding device and the cabinet wall by moving it accordingly into a desired position.
  • the spacer element can be used to define a distance between the edge of the base plate and an edge of the cabinet wall, and after the holding device has been attached to the cabinet wall, this spacer element can then be detached from the base plate and separated from the base plate.
  • the at least one spacer element extends in at least one state from at least one edge of the base plate, at least in regions in the plane of the base plate of the base body, away from the base plate.
  • the spacer element can be formed on the top, the bottom or one of the side edges of the base plate, for example. At least one of the spacer elements is preferably molded onto the underside of the base plate. On Another spacer element is then formed on the top or alternatively on one of the side edges of the base plate.
  • the spacer element can also at least in the state in which it lies in the plane of the base plate rest on the wall unit in some areas. In this way, the precision of the alignment of the holding device and thus the precision of the extractor hood that is later held on it can be improved.
  • the state in which the spacer element is preferably in the plane of the base plate is, in the case of a movable connection between the base plate and the spacer element, preferably the state before the spacer element is folded over around the movable connection. In the case of a rigid connection between the base plate and the spacer element, this state is preferably the state before the rigid connection was separated.
  • the spacer element is connected to the base plate via a hinge, in particular a folding hinge, which can also be referred to as a folding hinge.
  • a hinge By using a hinge, a movement of the spacer element with respect to the base plate can be guided.
  • the folding hinge can in particular be formed by reducing the material thickness at the edge of the base plate between the base plate and the spacer element. This embodiment is advantageous because it means that no further components are required, but pivoting of the spacer element with respect to the base plate is still possible.
  • At least one spacer element is connected to the base plate via a dividing line.
  • a dividing line is a line that can be easily cut.
  • the dividing line can therefore represent a perforation, for example.
  • At least one spacer element can be detached from the base plate.
  • a spacer element represents a spacer plate.
  • the spacer plate serves in particular to compensate for a distance that exists between the rear of the holding device and the cabinet wall. In other words, a difference in the wall thickness of different cabinet walls of the fastening wall can be compensated for by the spacer plate. Since the wall thickness of wall cabinets is usually either 16mm or 19mm, the thickness of the spacer plate is preferably 3mm.
  • the spacer element designed as a spacer plate is preferably attached to the base plate in a pivotable manner, for example via a hinged hinge. Thus, if compensation is necessary, the spacer plate can be pivoted through 180 ° before the holding device is attached to the cabinet wall until it rests against the rear of the base plate.
  • the size of the spacer plate preferably corresponds to the size of the base plate.
  • At least one elongated hole is preferably made in the spacer plate. Since the passage or passages in the spacer plate are formed by elongated holes, the requirements for the alignment of the passages in the spacer plate with the passage holes in the base plate are lowered and a fastening element, in particular a screw, can be carried out reliably and easily.
  • the spacer element can therefore be pivoted relative to the base plate to such an extent that it rests against the rear side of the base plate.
  • the at least one elongated hole in the spacer plate is then preferably aligned with the at least one through hole after being pivoted relative to the base plate.
  • At least one of the spacer elements preferably has a latching device for latching with the base body of the holding device.
  • a locking device is provided on the spacer plate.
  • the latching device can represent, for example, a latching arm which can engage with a latching cutout on the base plate. In this way, the spacer plate can be fixed in the state resting against the rear side of the base plate.
  • At least one spacer element represents a spacer.
  • At least one stop is provided on the spacer, which extends perpendicular to the base plate from a web of the spacer lying in the plane of the base plate. The stop protrudes beyond the back of the base plate.
  • the holding device can be brought into a defined position at an edge of the cabinet wall.
  • the stop since it extends vertically from the web and thus from the base plate to the rear, can be placed on the lower edge of the cabinet wall.
  • the distance between the stop and the passage openings in the base plate also defines the distance between the lower edge of the cabinet wall and a screw or drill hole that can be made through the passage opening.
  • a spacer can be provided on the side edge of the base plate, which in the assembled state of the holding device in the cabinet points forward. Such a spacer can then be used to set the desired horizontal distance from the front of the cabinet wall.
  • the spacer has a protrusion which extends in the plane of the base plate from the stop in the direction facing away from the base plate.
  • Such an overhang is advantageous in particular in the case of a spacer which is provided on the lower edge of the base plate.
  • the extractor hood is inserted into the wall cabinet from below and should be pushed in or drawn in until an upper side of part of the extractor hood, for example a rail guide for the extractor hood, rests against the lower edge of the cabinet wall. This is to prevent the formation of a gap between the extractor hood and the underside of the cabinet.
  • the extractor hood would at least in the area of the stop by the amount of the material thickness of the stop be spaced from the lower edge of the cabinet wall and there would be a gap and an asymmetrical installation situation. If, on the other hand, a protrusion is provided on the spacer that protrudes downward beyond the stop, then the introduction of the extractor hood into the cabinet is partially hindered. The height of the protrusion is dimensioned such that a catch element of a fastening device does not come into engagement with the holding projection of the holding device.
  • the spacer is preferably connected to the base plate via a dividing line, it can be removed from the base plate after the holding device has been screwed on, for example by kinking or cutting the dividing line with a knife.
  • the extractor hood can then be installed.
  • At least one insertion bevel is provided on the base body of the holding device.
  • the insertion bevel is preferably formed in a downwardly adjacent manner to the holding projection of the holding device.
  • the lead-in bevel serves to guide part of the fastening device of the extractor hood, in particular a latching element, into the holding device more easily and in a more targeted manner.
  • the holding projection of the holding device preferably comprises a guide surface and a support surface arranged at an acute angle to the guide surface.
  • the insertion bevel is preferably provided on the side of the holding projection on which the guide surface lies.
  • the lead-in bevel is formed in the side walls of the holding device.
  • At least one notch is made on the holding projection.
  • the notch runs in the vertical direction.
  • a spacer element represents a spacer plate and the spacer plate is pivoted with respect to the base plate of the holding device before the holding device is fastened and is preferably latched onto the rear side of the base plate.
  • a spacer element can represent a spacer and the spacer is separated from the base plate after the holding device has been attached to the cabinet wall, preferably along a dividing line.
  • the fastening of the holding device on the cabinet wall is preferably carried out by using one or two screws which are passed through the through holes in the base plate and screwed into the cabinet wall.
  • Figure 1 a schematic view of an embodiment of the holding device 1 of the fastening system according to the invention during the installation of the extractor hood 3 in a wall cabinet 2 is shown.
  • a holding device 1 is attached to the inside in the lower area.
  • the hanging cabinet 2 is open at the bottom, that is, has no bottom.
  • the extractor hood 3 is pushed from below into the wall cabinet 2 upwards.
  • a fastening device 4 is provided on the extractor hood 3 in each of the side walls.
  • a resiliently mounted latching element 40 is provided on each fastening device 4 and protrudes outward beyond the side of the extractor hood 3.
  • the fastening devices 4 are provided in the lower area of the extractor hood 3.
  • the structure of the holding device 1 is described with reference to FIG Figure 3 described in more detail.
  • the holding device 1 has a base body 10 which, in the embodiment shown, consists of a base plate 100 and side walls 17 which are perpendicular to the front of the base plate 100. Passage holes 12 are made in the base plate 100. The passage holes 12 are arranged horizontally adjacent to one another. In the illustrated embodiment four passage holes 12 are introduced, of which in Figure 3 only three are visible.
  • the base body 10 comprises a holding projection 101 which extends from the front of the base plate 100 to the front. In the in Figure 3 As shown in the mounted state of the holding device 1, the holding projection 101 points into the interior of the wall cabinet 2.
  • the side walls 17 of the base body 10 merge in the lower area, in particular below the holding projection 101, into insertion bevels 11 that diverge outward. As a result, an insertion region which tapers upwards towards the holding projection 101 is formed.
  • a cover wall 18 extends in the horizontal direction along the front side of the base plate 100.
  • latching cutouts 102 are made in the base plate 100 at the side edges. In the embodiment shown, a locking cutout 102 is made on each side of the base plate 100.
  • the spacers 15 each consist of a web 152 which extends downward from the lower edge of the base plate 100.
  • a dividing line 16 is provided in the upper region of the web 152. This can lie directly on the lower edge of the base plate 100 or be offset slightly downwards to the lower edge of the base plate 100.
  • a stop 151 is provided on the rear side of the web 152. In the embodiment shown, the stop 151 is formed by a plate which extends perpendicularly to the rear from the rear of the web 152. The web 152 extends further downwards beyond this stop 151. This part of the web 152, which lies below the stop 151, is therefore also referred to as the protrusion 150.
  • a further spacer element 5 is molded onto the base plate 100 at the upper edge of the base plate 100.
  • the upper spacer element 5 represents a spacer plate 13.
  • the spacer plate 13 is integrally formed on the base plate 100 via two hinges which are designed as a folding hinge 14.
  • the holding device 1 is preferably a plastic component and is made in one piece, for example made by injection molding.
  • the hinges 14 can hereby a reduced material thickness compared to the base plate 100 and the spacer plate 13 can be formed.
  • elongated holes 130 are made in the spacer plate 13, which run in the vertical direction and are arranged adjacent to one another in the horizontal direction.
  • the horizontal distance between the elongated holes 130 corresponds to the horizontal distance between the through holes 12 in the base plate 100.
  • Latching arms 131 are formed on the sides of the spacer plate 13. In the position of the spacer plate 13 in which it is located above the base plate 100, the locking arms 131 protrude to the rear.
  • Wall cupboards 2 in kitchens generally have either a wall unit thickness of 16mm or 19mm.
  • the spacer plate 13 can be used so that the holding device 1, which is also referred to as a wall bracket, always sits in the same place in its position relative to the extractor hood 3. Since this is connected to the spacer plate 13 by means of one or, in the illustrated embodiment, by means of two hinged hinges 14, the latter can be pivoted relative to the base plate 100. This allows the difference in wall thickness to be compensated.
  • the spacer plate 13 molded onto the folding hinge 14 preferably has a thickness of 3 mm. If the extractor hood is therefore to be placed in a wall cabinet 2 with a wall thickness of 16 mm, the spacer plate 13 can be folded over via the hinge 14.
  • FIG Figure 4 This is schematically in Figure 4 indicated by the curved arrow S.
  • the folding down or pivoting of the spacer plate 13 towards the rear relative to the base plate 100 is carried out before the holding device 1 is attached to the cabinet wall 2. This ensures that the position of the holding device 1 is identical to the position in a piece of furniture with a wall thickness of 19 mm.
  • the latching arms 131 which are provided on the spacer plate 13, are inserted into the latching cutouts 102 and latched.
  • FIG Figure 5 shown schematically.
  • the spacer plate 13 is not folded over via the hinge 14, but extends, as in FIG Figure 3 and 4th shown from the base plate 100 upwards.
  • the holding device 1 of the fastening system With the holding device 1 of the fastening system according to the invention, no drilling or positioning template is required for fastening the holding device 1 in the cabinet 2. In the vertical direction, the holding device 1 is rather brought into the correct position on the cabinet wall 2 via the lower spacer elements 5, which are designed as spacers 15.
  • the stops 151 of the spacers 15 are placed on the lower edge of the cabinet. Positioning using a template and a yardstick in the vertical direction is therefore not required. Positioning in depth can easily be done using a yardstick.
  • the holding device 1 is then screwed to the cabinet wall 20 with two fastening elements, in particular screws, for example wood screws.
  • the through holes 12 provided in the base plate 100 are used. Of the four through holes 12 shown, only two are required for screwing. If an error has occurred during the screw connection in the cabinet 2, the two further through holes 12 provided in the base plate 100 can be used for screwing again.
  • the spacers 15 still have to be separated from the base plate 100.
  • the web 152 of the spacer 15 can be cut off along the dividing line 16 with the aid of a cutter knife or scissors. If the user forgets to cut off the spacers 15, the geometry of the spacers 15, in particular the overhang 150, which extends down over the lower edge of the cabinet wall 20, prevents the extractor hood 3 from being mounted. This is necessary in order to ensure that the extractor hood 3 is held securely in the furniture 2. Only when the Spacers 15 have been separated, the extractor hood 3 can be fastened in the furniture 2.
  • the extractor hood 3 is installed as in Figure 1 shown inserted into the wall cabinet 2 from below. Shortly before reaching the end position of the extractor hood 3 in the wall cabinet 2, the locking elements 40 of the fastening device 4 of the extractor hood 3 come into contact with the holding devices 1 which are fastened to the cabinet wall 20.

  • the insertion area formed in the lower area of the base plate 100 by the insertion bevels 11 is used and the locking element 40 is used as the holding projection 101 the holding device 1 guided in this.
  • the notches 1012 which can be provided in the holding projection 101, can engage in mating contours (not shown) of the latching element 40 of the fastening device 4 of the extractor hood 3. This enables the extractor hood 3 to be seated in depth without play.
  • the locking element 40 of the extractor hood 3 After the locking element 40 of the extractor hood 3 has reached the retaining projection 101 when the extractor hood 3 is pushed into the wall cabinet 2, the locking element 40 is guided along the lower guide surface 1011 of the retaining projection 101 and is thereby pressed into the fastening device 4 on the extractor hood 3. After the latching element 40 has passed the tip of the holding projection 101, the latching element 40 pivots outward again and its underside runs upwards on the support surface 1010 of the holding projection 101. As soon as the latching element 40 has reached its end position, that is to say it is pivoted out of the fastening device 4, the underside of the latching element 40 rests on the support surface 1010 of the retaining projection 101 and the extractor hood 3 is held in the cabinet 2.

  • one-man assembly is the Extractor hood possible in the furniture.
  • the wall thickness of the cabinet can be adjusted from 16 to 19 mm, for example, without additional components.
  • the costs are reduced because the spacers enable the wall bracket to be positioned without a drilling or positioning template.
  • the insertion aid also creates a simple, customer-friendly assembly.
  • the invention has the advantage that the wall bracket can also be used with fan modules.
