Description

The invention relates to a crockery basket, in particular a cutlery drawer, for a dishwasher, with a support frame arranged extendable from a washing compartment of a dishwasher and a movable on the support frame arranged cutlery for receiving dishes, the cutlery insert transversely to the extension direction of the cutlery drawer both horizontally and vertically movable is held by the support frame.

According to another common embodiment, a cutlery drawer is used in addition to the baskets. This serves in the intended use case of receiving cutlery to be cleaned. In order to make possible a possible assembly of both the baskets and the cutlery drawer as flexible as possible, cutlery drawers have become known from the prior art, which have a support frame and arranged thereon arranged cutlery use. The movable arrangement of the cutlery insert on the support frame makes it possible to spend the cutlery insert on the user side in different positions in relation to the support frame. Although the previously known cutlery drawer has proven itself in everyday practical use, it is not free from disadvantages. Thus, it has been found to be disadvantageous, in particular, that the support frame provided for guiding the cutlery insert, due to the design, greatly reduces the available clear height of a top basket positioned below the cutlery drawer in the washing compartment. To counter this disadvantage is from the EP 2 789 286 A1 a cutlery drawer has become known, which has a central part, which has with respect to the extension direction of the cutlery drawer both left and right sides pivotally and movably arranged cutlery inserts. Based on the above, it is the object of the invention to further develop a cutlery drawer of the generic type to the extent that at the same time increasing the assembly flexibility is simplified on the user side handling, and this with a reduced Soiling tendency.

To solve this problem, a cutlery drawer of the type mentioned is proposed with the invention, which is characterized in that the cutlery insert extending at its extending in the extension direction, the support frame facing the longitudinal side has a holding element which interacts releasably with an abutment provided by the support frame, said the abutment for supporting the retaining element is formed in two stages in a first and a second height position.

The embodiment of the invention is characterized in particular by its simplicity. The support frame on the one hand and the cutlery insert on the other hand are matched in their geometric dimensions to one another that a simple adjustment and locking of the cutlery insert without a complex, expensive and soiling prone mechanics is possible. In this case, the fact is exploited that the cutlery insert can be adjusted in the horizontal direction and insofar a positive guidance is given by the support frame. Overall, the cutlery drawer according to the invention provides more flexibility by means of more adjustment possibilities, which allow a simple adaptation to the loading in the dishwasher.
