Il est maintenant possible de souder la poche sur elle-même par sa face intérieure, d'une part au niveau du bord inférieur en formant une soudure inférieure (1 1 ) et d'autre part dans sa partie centrale (12), depuis la soudure inférieure (1 1 ) en direction du bord supérieur. Les deux plis formant un soufflet ne sont pas soudés l'un sur l'autre, la soudure inférieure (1 1 ) se séparant au niveau de chaque pli. Cela est bien visible sur la figure 4. En effet, seule la face interne de la paroi tubulaire est fixée sur elle-même. Cela sera facilement obtenu en utilisant une bande laminée dont la première face peut se souder sur elle-même tandis que la deuxième face ne peut pas. Comme au niveau du bord inférieur, les plis d'un soufflet ne sont pas soudés l'un sur l'autre, la soudure supérieure se divisant au niveau de chaque pli. Cela est bien visible sur la figure 4.
