Definitions

  • the invention relates to a dispenser according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the invention relates to a one-component dosing dispenser, with which a material or a component, in particular via an applicator arranged on the dosing dispenser can be discharged.
  • Dosing dispensers of this type have been widely available on the market for many years in a wide variety of embodiments and are used primarily for cosmetics in order to dispense, for example, creams, gels and the like. These dosing dispensers are more and more used for other applications, especially in the technical field, such as for adhesives and the like. It is a typical mass product, in which it depends on a simple construction and ease of manufacture in a special way and On the other hand, at the same time a good optical design must be achievable, especially in the main application of the cosmetics sector. As the pertinent prior art shows, it is naturally difficult to reconcile all these demands.
  • Known dosing dispensers generally have a dosing dispenser housing with a cartridge fixedly arranged therein for receiving the material or component to be dispensed, as well as an upstream pump unit and optionally an applicator.
  • the discharge is carried out by default usually via an actuator, such as a laterally mounted push button or a bottom side provided knob, when actuated by a arranged in the dispenser housing thrust gear,
  • a threaded rod is rotated, which then advances successively as a result of a translational movement arranged at the lower end of the cartridge piston, so that the material can be discharged from the cartridge. It is obvious that this requires an expenditure on equipment, which is ultimately detrimental to a mass product.
  • a disadvantage of this dispenser is mainly that the handling is not optimal, because usually the dosage is done by manual operation of the push button or adjusting knob, but then a conversion of the dispenser is required in the hand to the discharged amount of material abandon the area to be treated. Again, this is awkward and disadvantageous.
  • dosing dispensers are known ( DE 20 2010 009 751 U1 and DE 20 2010 011 248 U1 ), which are characterized by a compact design and have proven themselves in practice.
  • these dosing dispensers are used significantly for two-component dosing dispensers, in which two of the cartridges are used in a dispenser housing and in which a metered discharge of the materials received in the cartridge in predetermined or adjustable mixing ratios carried out via a bottom side arranged below the cartridges can.
  • These known cartridges are characterized by a cleverly constructed pump unit with a pump cylinder and a cooperating pump piston, between which a compression spring is arranged. The operation, ie the discharge of the components takes place in that the piston of the cartridge upstream pump unit is actuated.
  • a dosing dispenser is known ( DE 689 22 886 T2 ), in which a pin-like housing which accommodates all the elements of the dosing dispenser, is formed by a plurality of juxtaposed and interconnected individual elements, namely a lower housing body, arranged thereon and axially fixedly connected to the housing body sleeve, which is also rotatably mounted relative to the housing body , a pump housing fixed in the sleeve by latching / clips and a further housing body arranged thereon and connected to the pump housing by a latching and / or clip connection for receiving an applicator, so that the housing is made up of a plurality of different components, resulting in a more complex and manufacturing technology as well as the assembly forth disadvantageous structure results.
  • the pump elements are accommodated, wherein the actuation of the pump is effected by an axially adjustable push-button, with which a cartridge for receiving the cosmetic material axially within the housing body is adjusted together with a pump element, so that a discharge of cosmetic material up to the applicator is possible.
  • the dosing dispenser is constructed from a number of many individual elements, wherein in particular the housing is subdivided into a plurality of individual elements. This results in a total of a complex assembly and manufacturing due to the large number of components required, which must also be coordinated.
  • a disadvantage which is particularly decisive for mass production, above all, is that the functionality of the dosing dispenser can only be tested after complete assembly of all components. If the dosing dispenser does not work, the completely assembled component is a reject part.
  • Dosing dispensers are also known in the art (EP 1 547 694 A2 ), in which a ready-to-mount unit can be inserted into the housing of the dosing dispenser, wherein the ready-to-mount unit, which has a cartridge and a pre-pump unit, is also provided with an adjusting device which prevents in a blocking position that material is accidentally discharged, and in a functional position allows a discharge of material through the cartridge.
  • dosing dispensers are known (US Pat. EP 357 456 A2 ), which are equipped with adjusting devices with multiple functional positions for different material discharge.
  • these metering dispensers are complex in construction and formed of a plurality of individual components matched to each other, wherein the adjusting device is composed of a total of three components, namely a cylinder coupled to a cartridge of the pumping unit, a cylinder fixed to the housing, with another axially on Housing defined, but rotatably mounted cylinder cooperates, which have different members of the actuator to allow different material discharges.
  • dosing dispensers are a comparatively slender elongated product in which different, different components are to be accommodated, namely, as a rule, pump unit comprising pump cylinder, piston and valve, applicator, cartridge for receiving the material to be discharged, Operating knob, cap and dispenser housing.
  • pump unit comprising pump cylinder, piston and valve, applicator, cartridge for receiving the material to be discharged
  • Operating knob, cap and dispenser housing it is important to put together these different components as possible space-saving and easy over various interfaces while still making the shape of the components in itself easier, so that they are inexpensive to manufacture by injection molding of plastic.
  • a metering dispenser for the discharge of materials, in particular cream-like cosmetic material, an elongated, preferably pin-like dispenser housing, in which a along the axis of the dispenser housing displaceable cartridge is included as well as a pump unit, an applicator for the discharge of the material and an actuating device for the activation of the pump unit, which is formed according to the invention by a push button.
  • a push button This is accommodated at one end of the housing and axially displaceable in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the housing, so that axially displaced by axial depression of the push button in the housing, the cartridge against the pump unit and pressed, so that it is activated for the purpose of material discharge.
  • the housing of the dosing dispenser is characterized as a central supporting body for the direct and indirect mounting of all components of the dosing dispenser by the support body is suitably provided with appropriate interface configurations for receiving and holding the components of the dosing dispenser, such as pumping unit, applicator, Cover, push button and / or cartridge.
  • suitable interface configurations are plug-fit fits, snap-in and / or clip connections, which can preferably be formed integrally on the components which are preferably produced by plastic injection molding without any great additional measures.
  • the diameter ratios between the male component such as diameter of the receptacle of the pump housing and diameter of the receiving sleeve of the housing are designed according to fit, as well as in the case of a detent and / or clip connection of course locking recesses or detents complementary are provided to the locking formations on the housing and vice versa.
  • the cartridge can be held on the housing so to speak captive by the pump unit by the pump unit snugly received in the housing and the cartridge is received via a latching and / or clip connection to the pump unit. Captive in the present sense meant a firm grip due to the composite, but due to the inherent elasticity of the plastic construction by appropriate pressure application, these compounds can also be solved again.
  • the pump housing is provided as a ready-to-mount unit with the cartridge and in this unit all relevant components are present, which are required for the operation of the dosing dispenser.
  • This unit can then be completely pre-assembled in the housing during assembly. This results in the great advantage that the functionality can be tested, so to speak, outside the final state of assembly, ie before the unit is arranged in the housing. If the composite of pump housing and cartridge does not work with the pumping elements accommodated therein, then this component represents a disposable part and not the entire completely assembled metering dispenser with the housing. It is advantageous that this unit can be arranged by press fit of the pump housing in a sleeve member of the housing.
  • the pump housing is immersed with a sleeve in the sleeve part of the cartridge and is secured by a latching lug on a latching shoulder of the sleeve part.
  • the cartridge is relative to the pump housing in Pre-assembled position of the unit already movable, so that a review of the operation of the unit is possible at any time before mounting in the housing.
  • this arrangement also results in a very simple construction with comparatively few components, which naturally facilitates assembly and production.
  • the push button is in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the housing shear resistant connected to the slidably received within the dispenser housing cartridge, in particular by suitable latching and / or clip connections, so that upon actuation of the push button and the cartridge is moved to activate the pumping unit.
  • the applicator is expediently arranged at one end of the housing opposite the push-button and the pump unit and the cartridge are located between these units.
  • the pump unit is designed so that it has a self-closing input valve, which is formed in particular by a sleeve made of rubber-elastic and / or flexible material. If a negative pressure builds up within the pump, the valve opens, for example by lifting the collar upwards from a piston arranged underneath and thereby forming an annular gap through which material can escape upwards in the direction of the applicator.
  • the pump unit also has an outlet valve, which in turn is self-closing, a spring with a closing head is expediently provided in the pump housing, wherein the spring presses the closing head on an opening of the pump housing as a compression spring and thus closes the pump unit upwards.
  • the closing head is formed by a ball, a conical or conical closing body. If the cartridge is moved in the direction of the pump unit as a result of push-button movement, a pressure builds up within the pump unit due to the material, which lifts the closing head from the opening for the purpose of discharging the material.
  • the cartridge can be pushed back to its original position due to a further compression spring, so that the closing head moves automatically over the prestressed compression spring back towards the opening in the pump housing and thus the pump unit after is closed again in the direction of the applicator.
  • a sleeve made of rubber-elastic or flexible material is suitable, which is arranged in a protruding from the cartridge sleeve and pressed by a sleeve of the pumping unit to the cartridge.
  • the diameter of the sleeve and thus the inlet valve is greater than the diameter of the sleeve, which also also forms the annular chamber of the pump unit and thus the pump cylinder.
  • the push button is coupled to the cartridge via a latching connection.
  • the push button on a plug-in part, on which a latching lug is formed, which is engageable with a correspondingly undercut or complementarily formed latching recess or latching shoulder of the cartridge.
  • the cartridge at its lower end and the push button associated with at least one further latching projection which engages in a provided on the inner wall of the housing axial chamber, which is designed as an annular chamber.
  • the locking projection may also be formed on the push button, whereby the stroke movement of the cartridge and thus due to the shear-resistant coupling and the push button is limited upwards and downwards.
  • the pump unit itself is formed with a pump housing, which is composed of an upper and a lower sleeve, wherein in the upper sleeve, a compression spring is received, which is provided with a closing head and the opening of a hollow piston of the pump housing closes, which is concentric within the located lower sleeve of the pump housing and immersed in a further sleeve, which is preferably received in a sleeve part of the cartridge by press or clamping fit.
  • This accommodated on the cartridge sleeve into which the piston is immersed is coupled to the pump housing via a compression spring, which also acts indirectly on the cuff of the inlet valve.
  • the dosing dispenser is provided with an adjusting device which allows to lock the dispenser in a blocking position without material removal can take place by accidental operation of the push button and to transfer into at least one functional position in which material can be discharged upon actuation of the push button , and in several functional positions, so that a differently metered material discharge via the dispenser is possible, depending on which functional position the dispenser is set.
  • the adjusting device has at least one arranged on the cartridge, in particular on the protruding cartridge sleeve and radially outwardly projecting nose and is provided on the inner wall of the cartridge receiving housing a cooperating with the nose stop means, so that depending on the rotational position of the cartridge the stop device limits a stroke position of the cartridge. Including, of course, the stroke position to understand 0, which takes place in the locked position, since then the cartridge rests with its nose against a stop of the stopper on the housing, so that the push-button coupled to the cartridge push button can not be pressed, thus no material discharge done can.
  • the stop device has several Stops on, so that in addition to the blocking position of the cartridge without a hub several different lengths strokes of the cartridge are made possible in the direction of the pump unit.
  • several lugs may be provided, in particular the formation of two diametrically opposite lugs on the cartridge, in particular on the cartridge upwardly projecting sleeve are suitable.
  • the respective setting in blocking position or functional position is expediently carried out by rotation of the rotary knob, which is advantageously non-rotatably connected to the cartridge via a suitable coupling device, in particular latching nose engagement.
  • Locking in this case means that the latching position for changing the adjustment position can be released by appropriate rotational pressure or torque application to the push button, so that the push button and thus the cartridge is adjustable to a desired other position for a desired stroke.
  • latching locking members are expediently provided on the push button, in particular with ball dome-shaped locking projections, wherein the housing in the lower region complementary corresponding recesses, in which the locking members can engage the push button.
  • the dosing dispenser after the FIGS. 1 to 4 comprises a housing 1 and a lid or cap 2 placed thereon, a pushbutton 3 arranged at the lower end of the housing 1, a cartridge 4 accommodated in the housing 1 for receiving the material to be discharged, a pump unit 5 received in the interior of the housing 1 arranged above the pump unit applicator 6 for the application of the material, according to the representations of the FIGS. 3 and 4 surrounded by the attached cap 2.
  • housing, cap, cartridge and push button are preferably cylindrical.
  • the various known per se applicators can be used in accordance with the invention, without this having to be described in detail.
  • the cartridge for receiving the material results in a perspective view FIG. 5 , as well as on average from the FIGS. 8 and 9 ,
  • the pump unit is most evident from the FIGS. 3 and 4 , It is formed by way of example from a pump housing 7, which, like the other components described above, is manufactured integrally and expediently in each case from plastic and in particular by injection molding.
  • the pump housing 7 has an upper sleeve section 8, in which a spring 9, which is expediently likewise made of plastic, is accommodated, at the lower end of which a closure member is provided as a valve 10. This may, if necessary, be formed integrally with the spring 9 and closes an opening 11 of the pump housing 7, to which a downwardly extending hollow piston connects, which is preferably an integral part of the pump housing 7.
