    - an upper face (2c) disposed between the rear face (2a) and the front face (2b),
    - a lower face (2d) disposed between the rear face (2a) and the front face (2b) and opposite to the upper face (2c),
    - a first opening (4) arranged on the front face (2b) of the body (2) intended to the passage of a patch cord in the body (2),
    - a second opening (5) arranged on the upper (2c) or lower (2d) face of the body (2) intended to the passage of a patch cord in the body (2),
    - a connection socket (10) comprising an opening (11) for the insertion of a patch cord into the connection socket (10),
    - connecting means (20) of the connection socket (10) on the body (2), characterized in that the connecting means (20) being arranged to define:
    - a first position (P1) of the connection socket (10) in which :
    - the opening (11) of the connection socket (10) passes through or is disposed facing the first opening (4) of the front face (2b) of the body (2), or
    - the opening (11) of the connection socket (10) leads to a passage arranged in the body (2) and intended to the patch cord, said passage leading to the first opening (4) of the front face (2b) of the body (2), and
    - a second position (P2) of the connection socket (10) in which:
    - the opening (11) of the connection socket (10) passes through or is disposed facing the second opening (5) of the upper (2c) or lower (2d) face of the body (2), or
    - the opening (11) of the connection socket (10) leads to a passage arranged in the body (2) and intended to the patch cord, said passage leading to the second opening (5) of the upper (2c) or lower (2d) face of the body (2).
  2. The modular device (1) according to claim 1, wherein the connecting means (20) comprise a removable holding module (30) of the connection socket (10), the removable holding module (30) comprising an opening (31) intended to the passage of a patch cord in the removable holding module (30) which is disposed facing the opening (11) of the connection socket (10).
  3. The modular device (1) according to claim 2, wherein the connecting means (20) comprise:
    - a first portion disposed on the body (2) of the modular device (1),
    - a second portion disposed on the removable holding module (30) of the connection socket (10) and arranged to cooperate with the first portion when the connection socket (10) is placed in its first position (P1), and
    - a third portion disposed on the removable holding module (30) of the connection socket (10) and arranged to cooperate with the first portion when the connection socket (10) is placed in its second position (P2).
  4. The modular device (1) according to claim 1, wherein the connecting means (20) comprise:
    - a first portion (21 b) disposed on the connection socket (10),
    - a second portion (22b) disposed on the body (2) and arranged to cooperate with the first portion (21 b) when the connection socket (10) is placed in its first position (P1), and
    - a third portion (23b) disposed on the body (2) and arranged to cooperate with the first portion (21 b) when the connection socket (10) is placed in its second position (P2).
  5. The modular device (1) according to any of claims 1 to 4, wherein the body (2) comprises holding means (17) for a connecting cable.
  6. The modular device (1) according to any of claims 1 to 5, comprising a cowl (7) arranged to hide the first opening (4) from the front face (2b) of the body (2).
  7. The modular device (1) according to claim 6, wherein the cowl (7) and/or all or part of the front face (2b) can have means for tracking the media intended to be broadcasted by the modular device (1) and/or the socket of the housing on which the modular device (1) is connected.
  8. A communication box comprising a modular device (1) according to any of claims 1 to 7.
  9. A method for reconfiguring a modular device (1) comprising the steps of:
    - providing a modular device (1) according to any of claims 1 to 7,
    - removing the second portion (22b) from the first portion (21 b) of the connecting means (20) or respectively removing the third portion (23b) from the first portion (21 b) of the connecting means (20),
    - engaging the third portion (23b) in the first portion (21 b) of the connecting means (20) or respectively engaging the second portion (22b) in the first portion (21 b) of the connecting means (20).
  10. The method according to claim 9 further comprising steps of:
    - providing a modular device (1) according to claim 3 or according to any of claims 5 to 7 provided that it depends on claim 3,
    - pivoting the holding module (30) about a first axis (A1) parallel to a direction for introducing the patch cord in the connection socket (10),
    - pivoting the holding module (30) about a second axis (A2) perpendicular to the first axis (A1) perpendicular to two main planes of the holding module (30),
  11. The method according to claim 10, wherein the pivoting about the first axis (A1) is performed according to a value substantially equal to 180° and the pivoting about the second axis (A2) is performed according to a value comprised between 30° and 60°.
