Description
Manschette cuff
The invention relates to a cuff for muscle or joint areas of the human body with an inner side in contact with the body and an outer side facing away from it, according to the preamble of claim 1.
In a variety of complaints associated with the musculoskeletal system of the human body, a massage can provide relief or therapy-supporting used. Massages cause an improved blood circulation of the tissue and an increased metabolism. In addition, a positive influence on the lymphatic system can be achieved by massage and the removal of harmful metabolites can be accelerated.
In addition to the conventional manual massage, massage devices have been proposed in the prior art which require a power supply or the supply of a fluid. In addition to the sometimes complex operation and the relatively high cost especially the regular use of known massage device is a practical problem. The known possibilities also have the disadvantage that they are hardly applicable during the night's sleep.
It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a low-cost massage device for muscle or joint areas of the human body, which can also be used during the night's sleep, thereby enabling regular use.
These objects are achieved by the features of claim 1. Claim 1 relates to a cuff for muscle or joint areas of the human body with an inside in abutment with the body and an outside facing away from it, is proposed in the present invention that at least partially a sequence of elastic strip body is provided which is spaced apart parallel to each other in an air-permeable envelope are held, which forms between adjacent strip bodies each one, in the longitudinal direction of the center of the strip body connecting web. The cuff can be over-pulled or applied over the desired areas, and fixed by means of a hook-and-loop fastener or the like. According to the invention, in this case an elastic component is provided, which is designed by means of spaced-apart strip body in the form of a rib-shaped structure. This design has several advantages. On the one hand, in the course of the changes in position during sleep, the desired massage effect is achieved by the friction on the skin, which increases the local skin temperature and improves blood circulation, metabolism and oxygenation in the affected areas. But together with the elasticity of the individual strip body but pressure points are reliably avoided. The elastic strip body according to the invention also separated by connecting webs, each extending in the longitudinal direction of the middle of the strip elements. This design causes ventilation channels for the skin surface to form when carrying the cuff between adjacent strip bodies and below the connecting webs, which prevent sweating. The air exchange is assisted by the rib-like arrangement of the elastic strip bodies, since they experience a reduction in volume under pressure and moisture-laden air is released via the connecting webs. When relief, such as when the wearer occupies a corresponding position during the night, the stripe body can return to their original shape, with fresh air is sucked into the ventilation ducts. The elastic strip bodies thus cause a pump-like effect, which alternately presses moisture-laden air from the ventilation channels of the cuff and sucks in fresh air.
Preferably, the inside of the envelope is made net-like, or provided with a net-like surface structure. In this way, the massage effect and the generation of frictional heat is improved. The production of Cuff according to the invention can be greatly facilitated by the connecting web is formed by a, connecting the inside and the outside of the air-permeable envelope seam.
Die Erfindung wird im Folgenden anhand vonThe invention will be described below with reference to
Ausführungsbeispielen mithilfe der beiliegenden Figuren näher erläutert. Es zeigen hierbei die Embodiments explained in more detail using the accompanying figures. It show here the

Fig. 2a and 2b show two embodiments for a possible blank of the sleeve according to the invention.
First, reference is made to FIG. 1. The sleeve is formed at least in sections from a sequence of elastic strip body 1, which are held spaced apart parallel to each other in an air-permeable casing 2. The strip bodies 1 can be made of a thermally insulating material, for example, in order to increase the warming effect of the cuff and to store heat. A possible material for the strip body 1 is about foam. The casing 2 can be, for example, a woven or knitted fabric which, however, can be designed differently for the production of the inner side 2a and the outer side 2b. The inside 2a of the cuff is that which is in the position of use of the cuff in contact with the body. The outer side 2b is the side facing away from the inner side 2a of the sleeve, which is thus facing away from the body and visible in the position of use of the sleeve. In Figure 1, the enclosure 2 is drawn partially lifted to expose the inner strip body 1. The envelope 2 forms between juxtaposed strip elements 1 in each case one connecting web 3 extending in the longitudinal direction in the middle of the strip elements. The inside 2a of the wrapping 2 can have a net shape or be provided with a net-like surface structure. The connecting web 3 is formed approximately by a seam connecting the inner side 2 a and the outer side 2 b of the air-permeable sheath 2.
FIG. 2 shows two embodiments of possible blanks of the cuff in a planar representation. Fig. 2a shows approximately a blank for a cuff, which is placed in the use position around the upper body for massaging the back during the night and is closed at the front of the body in the chest about about Velcro closures to form a cuff. 2b shows a blank of a cuff for the neck area with an extension for the cervical region, which is placed around the neck and closed in the front neck area about Velcro closures. The blanks of Figs. 2a and 2b have a construction according to the invention, as described with reference to FIG. 1 and have approximately connection bands with Velcro (not shown in FIG. 2), via which the closing edges 4 are connected after the application can close the cuff and fix it to the respective body area. It is immediately apparent that the blank is suitably chosen according to the region of the body, since, for example, a cuff for application in the knee area requires a different cut than, for example, a cuff for application in the shoulder area.
Sie eignet sich jedoch auch bei Verletzungsfolgen zur therapeutischen Unterstützung im postoperativen Stadium, etwa beiAfter application, the cuff according to the invention leads to an improved blood circulation of the tissue and an increased metabolism and has a positive influence on the lymphatic system. This accelerates the removal of harmful metabolites. By restraining the radiating body heat, a warm and dry microclimate with dry mild heating can be produced without exceeding the core temperature of 37 ° C, and also the moisture retention by means of the withdrawal paths along the connecting webs can be prevented. Air and moist mixtures are sucked out of the atmosphere via the fresh air. In this way a permanent wetness is avoided and the skin temperature below the cuff is increased by 1 ° to 4 ° C. Due to the structure according to the invention, the cuff according to the invention can be worn in particular during the night, but also during the day. It has an analgesic, relaxing, decongestant and decongestant effect. However, it is also suitable for the consequences of injury for therapeutic support in the postoperative stage, such as
Verstauchungen, Schwellungen, oder Stauungen.
Sprains, swelling, or congestion.
