This limitation of the movements on the head side has the advantage of avoiding transverse evasions of the bed during the bedtime or the rising of the patient while allowing the small longitudinal movements of adjustment of the proximity of the bed with an adjoining wall, but it nevertheless presents the disadvantage of making delicate the large maneuvers of the bed (for example during a transfer of the bed, with or without patient).

A cet effet, il est proposé un lit médicalisé comprenant :

  • un cadre muni de longerons et de traverses et ayant un côté tête et un côté pied opposés ;
  • un dispositif de réglage en hauteur du cadre par rapport au sol, ce dispositif comprenant un compas de tête monté sur le cadre du côté tête, et un compas de pied monté sur le cadre du côté pied, chaque compas comprenant une jambe et une bielle articulées mutuellement et par rapport au cadre, chaque compas ayant une position repliée dans laquelle la jambe jouxte le cadre, et une position déployée dans laquelle la jambe est écartée du cadre ;
  • un train avant comprenant au moins un galet monté en rotation par rapport à la jambe du compas de tête, à une extrémité inférieure de celui-ci, uniquement autour d'un axe transversal ;
  • un train arrière comprenant un chariot de pied articulé par rapport à la jambe du compas de pied à une extrémité inférieure de celle-ci, et au moins une roue arrière folle montée en libre rotation sur le chariot de pied ;
ce lit ayant une position basse dans laquelle les compas sont repliés et une position élevée dans laquelle les compas sont déployés et chaque galet en contact avec le sol, lit dans lequel :
  • le train avant comprend un chariot de tête articulé par rapport à la jambe du compas de tête autour d'un pivot transversal et sur lequel est monté le galet, et au moins une roue avant folle montée en rotation sur le chariot de tête autour d'un axe de roulage et d'un axe de lacet, le chariot de tête portant une butée agencée pour interagir avec la jambe du compas de tête ;

For this purpose, it is proposed a medical bed comprising:
  • a frame with side members and cross members and having opposite head and side feet;
  • a device for adjusting the height of the frame with respect to the ground, this device comprising a head compass mounted on the frame on the head side, and a foot compass mounted on the frame on the foot side, each compass comprising a leg and a connecting rod mutually articulated and relative to the frame, each compass having a folded position in which the leg adjoins the frame, and an extended position in which the leg is spaced from the frame;
  • a nose gear comprising at least one roller rotatably mounted relative to the leg of the head compass, at a lower end thereof, only about a transverse axis;
  • a rear axle comprising a foot carriage articulated with respect to the leg of the foot compass at a lower end thereof, and at least one idle rear wheel mounted for free rotation on the foot carriage;
this bed having a low position in which the compasses are folded and an elevated position in which the compasses are deployed and each roller in contact with the ground, reads in which:
  • the front axle comprises a head carriage articulated with respect to the leg of the head compass around a transverse pivot and on which the roller is mounted, and at least one idle front wheel rotatably mounted on the head carriage around a rolling axis and a yaw axis, the head carriage carrying a stop arranged to interact with the leg of the head compass;
  • the bed has an elevated position in which the compasses are deployed to the end of the stroke, and in which the leg of the head compass places, by interaction with the stop, the head carriage in a tilted position in which the roller is removed of the ground and wherein the yaw axis of the front wheel is substantially perpendicular to the ground.

Claims (10)

  1. Hospital bed (1) comprising:
    - a frame (3) provided with side members (4) and cross members (5) and having a head end (6) and a foot end (7) opposite each other;
    - a device (11) for adjusting the height of the frame (3) relative to the ground (2), this device (11) comprising a head linkage (12), mounted on the frame (3) at the head end (6), and a foot linkage (13), mounted on the frame (3) at the foot end (7), each linkage (12, 13) comprising a leg (15) and a connecting rod (16) which are articulated with respect to each other and with respect to the frame (3), each linkage (12, 13) having a folded position, in which the leg (15) juxtaposes the frame (3), and a deployed position, in which the leg (15) is spaced apart from the frame (3);
    - a front chassis (36) comprising at least one roller (39) which is mounted rotatably with respect to the leg (15) of the head linkage (12), at a lower end (31) thereof, exclusively about a transverse axle (40);
    - a rear chassis (29) comprising a foot carriage (30) which is articulated with respect to the leg (15) of the foot linkage (13) at a lower end (31) thereof, and at least one rear loose wheel (33) mounted freely in rotation on the foot carriage (30);
    this bed (1) having a lowered position, in which the linkages (12, 13) are folded, and a raised position, in which the linkages (12, 13) are deployed and each roller (39) is in contact with the ground (2),
    this bed (1) being characterized in that:
    - the front chassis (36) comprises a head carriage (37) which is articulated with respect to the leg (15) of the head linkage (12) about a transverse pivot (38) and on which the roller (39) is mounted, and at least one front loose wheel (41) mounted rotatably on the head carriage (37) about a rolling axle (42) and a yaw axle (43), the head carriage (37) carrying a limit stop (50) designed to interact with the leg (15) of the head linkage (12),
    - the bed (1) has a raised position in which the linkages (12, 13) are deployed to the end of their travel and in which, by interaction with the limit stop (50), the leg (15) of the head linkage (12) places the head carriage (37) in a tilted position in which the roller (39) is spaced apart from the ground (2) and in which the yaw axle (43) of the front wheel (41) is substantially perpendicular to the ground (2).
  2. Bed (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the limit stop (50) extends opposite the leg (15) of the head linkage (12), and in that, in the raised position of the bed (1), the limit stop (50) is applied against the leg (15) of the head linkage (12).
  3. Bed (1) according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterized in that the limit stop (50) is formed by a protruding tongue.
  4. Bed (1) according to Claim 3, characterized in that the tongue (50) has a curved distal section (53).
  5. Bed (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the head carriage (37) comprises a bracket (45), which extends transversely and on which the front wheel (41) is mounted.
  6. Bed (1) according to Claim 3 or 4 in combination with Claim 5, characterized in that the tongue (50) protrudes from a front transverse edge (52) of the bracket (45).
  7. Bed (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the front chassis (36) comprises a pair of head carriages (37).
  8. Bed (1) according to Claim 7, characterized in that the front chassis (36) comprises a shaft (44) connecting the head carriages (37).
  9. Bed (1) according to Claim 8, characterized in that each roller (39) is mounted rotatably in a yoke (47) having an external flange (48) formed by a lateral wall (46) of the head carriage (37), and an internal flange (49) rigidly connected to the shaft (44) .
  10. Bed (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the roller (39) and the front wheel (41) extend on each side of the pivot (38) of the head carriage (37).
