Definitions

  • the invention relates to an elevator installation with a monitoring device which is suitable for monitoring shaft doors and for monitoring the elevator shaft.
  • Known elevator systems arranged in buildings comprise an elevator shaft in which an elevator cage is movably arranged. Individual floors of the building have openings to this elevator shaft, which are arranged along individual positions of the movable elevator car. These openings can be closed by shaft doors. In an arrangement of the elevator car at one of these shaft doors, the elevator car can be entered through this shaft door. With an opening of each other shaft door, the elevator shaft is freely accessible at this time. To protect persons from injuries in the elevator shaft, the shaft doors are integrated in a safety circuit. This safety circuit has the effect that, when the shaft door is unlocked or opened, the elevator car can not be moved in the elevator shaft. In subsequently locked or closed shaft doors, the elevator car can be moved in the elevator shaft according to the function of this safety circuit. Nevertheless, persons may be in the elevator shaft, in particular in its shaft pit.
  • US 7,954,606 shows an elevator safety system with a sensor for detecting a person present in the elevator shaft.
  • the sensor can be arranged on the elevator car or in the shaft pit.
  • the problem with such a solution is that for such a security system, an additional costly sensor must be placed in the elevator shaft.
  • EP 1 454 866 A2 discloses an elevator installation according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method according to the preamble of claim 10.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to equip an elevator installation with an improved monitoring device.
  • an elevator installation with a monitoring device for monitoring shaft doors
  • the elevator installation has an elevator car which can be moved in an elevator shaft, with a shaft door contact switch which is attached to one of the shaft doors is arranged, and a safety-relevant circuit, preferably a safety circuit which monitors a position of the shaft doors by means of the shaft door contact switch, characterized in that the elevator system additionally comprises a monitoring circuit independent of the safety-relevant circuit for monitoring the elevator shaft, wherein the elevator system by the Monitoring circuit is set into a safety mode when the shaft door contact switch is open and the elevator car is not located at the level of the shaft door.
  • the object is also achieved by a method for operating an elevator installation with a monitoring device, the elevator installation having an elevator car movable in a lift cage and shaft doors, wherein a shaft door contact switch, which is arranged on one of the shaft doors of the elevator system is opened, and a safety-related circuit is influenced based on the detected opening of the shaft door contact switch, and additionally influenced by the safety-relevant circuit monitoring circuit based on the detected opening of the shaft door contact switch, the elevator system is set by the monitoring circuit in a safety mode when the shaft door contact switch is open and the elevator car not is arranged at the level of the shaft door.
  • persons who are or have entered the elevator shaft are to be understood as persons who are outside the interior of the elevator cage in the elevator shaft.
  • a person can enter the elevator shaft exclusively through one of the open shaft doors.
  • this person may be a service technician or any other person who can open this landing door by means of a tool.
  • a safety-related circuit that the elevator car can not be moved. Unnoticed by the person located in the elevator shaft, however, it is possible that the shaft door closes again or locked, since such a shaft door is usually self-closing or -verriegelnd. This is the case in particular when the service technician works in the elevator shaft.
  • the safety-relevant circuit causes a continuation in this case a normal operation of the elevator car, which may pose a danger to the person located in the elevator shaft.
  • a shaft door contact switch is arranged on the monitored shaft door, by means of which the opening or unlocking of the shaft door is detected.
  • the invention is based on the finding that, in addition to being used in the safety-relevant circuit, this shaft door contact switch can be used in such a way that the person who has penetrated into the elevator shaft is protected.
  • an independent monitoring circuit is connected to the shaft door contact switch in addition to the safety-relevant circuit, by means of which the elevator system can be placed in a safety mode, if the interior of the elevator car is not arranged on the open monitored shaft door.
  • this safety mode remains beyond the time at which the shaft door contact switch is closed. In this way, despite reclosing or re-locking the shaft door, the person who has penetrated the elevator shaft is protected from injury.
  • a continuation of the normal operation is possible only by deactivating the safety mode after checking the elevator shaft.
  • a necessarily existing shaft door contact switch only need to be rewired and not be supplemented by a sensor on the shaft door, which can lead to problems such as space problems in a modernization of elevator systems, for example.
  • the safety mode can be designed in such a way that a travel path of the elevator car of the elevator installation which is in safety mode is limited relative to a travel path of the elevator cage of the elevator installation which is in normal operation.
  • the elevator car can no longer be moved in such a way that, when the safety mode is activated, it can be arranged on the uppermost and / or lowermost shaft door of the elevator installation. In this way, the person who has penetrated into the elevator shaft and who is located in the shaft pit or on the elevator car can not be endangered by the movement of the elevator cage and / or a counterweight.
  • the security mode be formed such that a traversing speed, which is used in the safety mode, compared to the normal operation of the elevator car is reduced.
  • the safety mode can be designed such that the safety mode causes a stop of the elevator car.
  • the shaft door contact switch is exclusively opened when the first shaft door is in the unlocked or open position. In this way it can be ensured that the elevator installation is not set to safety mode while the first landing door is still closed.
  • a development of the elevator system has a shaft door contact switch having control circuit, wherein the control circuit comprises a switchable by the shaft door contact switch element, preferably a contactor or relay, wherein a switching operation of the shaft door contact switch means of this switching element a switching operation in the safety-related circuit and a switching operation in the monitoring circuit causes.
