- a large part of the dishwashing product poured into the cavity 22 is then stored in the pores of the sponge 20 located near the bottom 24 of the cavity 22.
- These pores, located in the heart of the sponge 20 diffuse the dishwashing liquid. more progressively than the pores located near the surface of the sponge 20 (which tend to empty on contact with the water.)
- the sponge 20 produces foam for a longer time than the sponge 20.
- a sponge soaked in dishwashing detergent only at the surface As a result, the user has no incentive to refill the dishwashing sponge 20 as regularly as it is with a conventional sponge. the user of the washing up product and the sponge 20 is thus improved.
- the cavity 22 may have a metering function. Indeed, when the cavity 22 is filled with the washing up liquid, the orifice 28 becomes a visual cue for the user filling the cavity 22.
