When firing the ammunition from a gun barrel (not shown in detail), the stopper 14, the primer cap 11 and the propellant charge shell 3 are supported against a weapon closure (not shown in detail), so that it is ensured that the stopper 14 does not escape from the body during firing Hole 12 can be pushed out. The circlip 16 in turn takes on the firing of the ammunition 1 in normal use on this fuse or ring 16 acting gas pressure (from about 3000 bar) and seals the annular gap 17 from the propellant charge 7 down, so that the ring 16 in its dual function here acts as a sealing ring.
