Abstract

A heat exchanger comprising a set of tubes (11) consisting of silicon carbide (SiC) tubes mounted between two tube plates (12,21) in enamelled steel by means of a pressure seal system (22-24) along which the tube (11) may slide to compensate for thermal expansions.
