    characterised in that the adapter plate (1.2) comprises a diameter in the range of from 12 cm to 20 cm, preferably in the range of from 14 cm to 20 cm.
  11. Use according to any of claims 1 to 10,
    characterised in that the pipe connector (1.1) comprises, on the inside of the end (1.14) thereof that can be inserted into the drain connector of the floor drain channel, at least one cross brace (1.15).
  12. Use according to any of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the connecting piece (1.22) comprises, on the inside of the end thereof that is associated with the pipe connector (1.1), at least one cross brace (1.26).
  13. Use according to any of claims 1 to 12,
    characterised in that the pipe connector (1.1) comprises, at the end (1.14) thereof that can be inserted into the drain connector of the floor drain channel, a bevelled peripheral edge (1.16).
  14. Use according to any of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the connecting piece (1.22) comprises, at the end thereof that is associated with the pipe connector (1.1), a bevelled peripheral edge (1.27).
