Abstract

Ledit procédé de formage de la paroi de l'embouchure d'un récipient (1) ou emballage métallique cylindrique à partir d'une virole tubulaire moulurée ou non devant recevoir un couvercle (8) d'obturation doté d'un joint élastique (9) maintenu par un vide créé dans le récipient se caractérise essentiellement par l'utilisation d'un seul organe, la tête (12), qui effectue conjointement et simultanément la déformation du diamètre interne du récipient par expansion pour réaliser un bourrelet (5) et une contraction réalisant un retreint (6) au-dessus du bourrelet (5) de l'embouchure (4).
