Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sicherheitspapier (20) für die Herstellung von Sicherheits- und Wertdokumenten mit einem Wasserzeichen (14), das ein erstes Motiv bildet. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass das Wasserzeichen (14) von einem Ausnehmungsbereich (16) überlagert ist, der ein zweites Motiv bildet und der aus zumindest einer linienförmigen, durch Einwirkung von Laserstrahlung erzeugten Ausnehmung (36, 38) im Sicherheitspapier (20) gebildet ist, so dass die Überlagerung von Wasserzeichen (14) und Ausnehmungsbereich (16) ein Kombinationsmotiv (12) aus dem ersten und zweiten Motiv bildet, das einen im Durchlicht gegenüber Auflicht veränderten visuellen Eindruck aufweist.
