- Laundry treatment apparatus (100) comprising a treatment chamber (1 for receiving articles of laundry, a steam generator (4), which can be supplied with water by a pump (3) by way of a water source (2), a line (7), which connects the steam generator (4) with the treatment chamber (1), and an inlet (11) for introduction of steam into the treatment chamber (1), characterised in that between the steam generator (4) and the treatment chamber (1) an atomisation device (9) is in addition arranged to be connected with the treatment chamber (1) by way of lines (8, 13) via a switching valve (5), wherein the atomisation device (9) is in a position of admixing treatment agent in the form of an aerosol to the steam so that it is possible by way of the switching valve (5) to introduce into the treatment chamber (1) merely the generated water steam or the mixture of the treatment agent aerosol and the generated water steam.
- Laundry treatment apparatus (100) according to claim 1, characterised in that the treatment agent is stored in a storage container (10) and can be fed by way of a line (12) to the atomisation device (9).
- Laundry treatment apparatus (100) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the atomisation device (9) is a Venturi nozzle (9).
- Laundry treatment apparatus (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the inlet (11) is arranged directly at the treatment chamber (1) formed as a laundry drum (1).
- Method for treatment of laundry in laundry treatment apparatus (100), comprising the steps:- providing laundry in the laundry treatment apparatus (100),- generating water steam,- generating a treatment agent aerosol and- producing a mixture from the treatment agent aerosol and the generated water steam as well as treating the laundry in a treatment chamber (1) with the mixture, wherein it is possible by a switching valve (5) to introduce merely the generated water steam into the treatment chamber (1) or to introduce the produced mixture from the treatment agent aerosol and the generated water steam into the treatment chamber.
