- Refrigeration device, in particular household refrigeration device, having a carcass (2) with an interior container space (3), a refrigeration device door (4), in addition to a separate compartment (12) located in the interior container space (3) and thermally insulated in relation to a refrigeration compartment, the access opening of said separate compartment being closed by a thermally insulating compartment door (13) that has a handle (14) for opening the compartment door (13) which is arranged outside of the thermally insulating region of the compartment door (13), characterised in that the handle (14) is provided on the lower-lying edge of the horizontally arranged edges of the compartment door (13), wherein the compartment door (13) is opened by pivoting about a vertical axis of rotation of a stop, wherein the handle (14) is embodied as a horizontally arranged handle strip (14a) and wherein the handle strip (14a) is pivotably mounted on the compartment door (19) by means of a horizontal pivot bearing (19).

- Refrigeration device according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the front surface (16) of the compartment door (13) that is oriented outwards comprises a panel (30), in particular a glass plate.
- Refrigeration device according to one of claims 1 to 8 or 10 to 12, characterised in that the front surface (16) of the compartment door (13) which is oriented outwards includes a marker (17) for indicating the local position and/or spatial extension of the handle (14) and/or the handle strip (14a).
