Abstract

A closing plate for a sliding closure on the spout of a receptacle for molten metal, especially of a converter, comprises an elongate refractory plate (11) and a sheet metal jacket (12) surrounding the same. Er umfasst einen Gehäuserahmen, in welchem eine stationäre feuerfeste Verschlussplatte (eine sogenannte Bodenplatte) sowie eine dieser gegenüber verschiebbare, in einer Schiebereinheit gehaltene feuerfeste Schieberplatte angeordnet sind. Die Schieberplatte ist mit ihrer oberen Gleitfläche an eine untere Gleitfläche der Bodenplatte dichtend anpressbar. Der Gehäuserahmen ist an einer behälterfesten Grundplatte lösbar angebracht, wobei die Bodenplatte über ihre obere Gleitfläche mit einem in der Grundplatte eingesetzten feuerfesten Ausguss-Kopfteil verspannbar ist. Im Giessbetrieb sind die Feuerfestteile starkem Verschleiss ausgesetzt. Es ist daher erforderlich, sie relativ häufig auszutauschen.
