    - measuring the inner surface of said pot for metallurgical melting,
    - applying, especially by spraying, refractory material onto the wall and bottom areas,
    - measuring the temperature of the melting and/or the slag and/or the walls,
    - collecting samples,
    - introducing a sealing substance for the tap hole, and
    - scaling the skin from the slag.
  2. The assembly according to claim 1, characterised in that functional means (6) which are provided in the area of the top platform (3), optionally in a magazine (7), are mountable to the working means (5) by means of at least one connecting or clamping device and are movable together with said working means (5) and releasable therefrom.
