Derartige Verfahren werden bspw. zum Herstellen von Baustoffen in Form von Farben, Grundierungen, Putzen u. dgl. eingesetzt. Der Farbton der Baustoffe wird dabei durch die Pigmentzusammensetzung und Pigmentkonzentration in dem Basismaterial bestimmt. Grundsätzlich können mit solchen Verfahren sowohl mineralische Produkte, bei denen das Basismaterial als trockene Sackware vorliegt, als auch pastöse Produkte, bei denen die fertigen Produkte als Eimerware vorliegen, hergestellt werden. Mineralische Produkte, bei denen die pulverförmigen Pigmente werksseitig mit pulverförmigen Trägermaterialien vermischt werden, werden am Verarbeitungsort mit Anmachwasser vermischt und verarbeitet. Dabei werden die pulverförmigen Pigmente werksseitig mit dem Trägermaterial abgemischt und in Säcken abgefüllt. Bei pastösen Produkten wird das Basismaterial entsprechend vorgegebener Farben mit geeigneten Dosieranlagen unter Verwendung geeigneter Pigmentkonzentrate eingefärbt. Bei diesem Verfahren werden auf definierte Basismaterialmengen geeignete Pigmentkonzentrate über ein volumetrisches oder gravimetrisches Dosierverfahren in ein vorgefertigtes Basisgebinde zudosiert. Bei der Fertigung einer Mehrzahl von Gebinden mit gleicher Färbung kann so eine exakte Reproduzierbarkeit erreicht werden.Such methods are, for example, for the manufacture of building materials in the form of paints, primers, plasters u. Wenn hingegen der Verarbeiter beim Hersteller eine zu große Menge pigmenthaltiger Produkte anfordert, kann das gemäß speziellen Kundenwünschen hinsichtlich der Farbgebung angefertigte Produkt an anderen Verarbeitungsorten nicht eingesetzt werden und muß anschließend entsorgt werden. Im Zusammenhang mit der Herstellung pastöser Produkte wurde bereits vorgeschlagen, Pigmentkonzentrate für Basisfarben in Bechern oder ähnlichen Behältnissen abzufüllen und am Verarbeitungsort dem Basismaterial zuzugeben. Bei dieser Lösung erfolgt also die Herstellung eines Pigmentkonzentrats mit der gewünschten Pigmentmischung in dem Dosierbehälter selbst, so daß nicht auf in einzelne Dosierbehälter abgefüllte Grundfarben bzw. Basisfarben zurückgegriffen werden muß. Das so in dem Dosierbehälter hergestellte Pigmentgemisch kann am Verarbeitungsort dem Basismaterial zugeführt und mit herkömmlichen baustellenüblichen Mischvorrichtungen, wie etwa Putzmischern in Form von mit einem Quirlaufsatz versehenen Bohrmaschinen, vermischt werden. Dabei beruht die Erfindung auf der Erkenntnis, daß es bei den bekannten Verfahren zur Herstellung mineralischer Produkte zu Agglomeratbildungen von Pigmenten bzw. Verklumpungen der Pigmente kommen kann, welche die Färbung beeinflussen. Bei der Verarbeitung an der Fassade können sich Schlieren oder Streifen bilden. Dieses Problem wird durch die Mischung der pigmenthaltigen Grundstoffe in dem Dosierbehälter und die erfindungsgemäße Verwendung der so erhaltenen Farbpasten zur Herstellung pigmenthaltiger Produkte gelöst. Weiter wurde erkannt, daß bei den herkömmlichen Verfahren zur Herstellung von pastösen Produkten bei Verwendung von in Bechern oder ähnliche Behältnisse abgefüllten Pigmentkonzentraten oder Farbmischungen Probleme auftreten, wenn ein gewünschter Farbton besondere Pigmentmischungen erfordert, bei denen von einer Pigmentsorte nur geringe Mengen benötigt werden, welche ggf. nicht restfrei aus dem Behältnis ausgetrieben werden können. Dadurch kann verhindert werden, daß sich die Pigmente im Bodenbereich des Dosierbehälters absetzen und am folgenden Mischvorgang nicht mehr in vollem Umfang teilnehmen. So wird eine besonders zuverlässige Herstellung vorgegebener Tönungen erreicht. Das Absetzen der Pigmente am Boden des Dosierbehälters wird besonders zuverlässig verhindert, weil der pigmentfreie Grundstoff beider Ausführung erfindungsgemäßer Verfahren eine gröβere Dichte aufweist als die pigmenthaltigen Grundstoffe, so daß beim Beschicken des Dosierbehälters eine heterogene Mischung darin entsteht. Bei dem pigmentfreien Grundstoff kann es sich um eine bindemittel- und pigmentfreie "Farbe" handeln, die Wasser, Verdickungsmittel, Konservierungsmittel, Netzmittel, Entschäumungsmittel und/oder anorganische Füllstoffe aufweist. Die Dichte des pigmentfreien Grundstoffs beträgt vorzugsweise mehr als 1,5 g/cm3, insbes. mehr als 2,0 g/cm3, besonders bevorzugt etwa 2,2 g/cm3, während die Viskosität 2000 mPa.s betragen kann. Die pigmenthaltigen Grundstoffe weisen zweckmäßigerweise eine Dichte von 1,05 g/cm3 bis etwa 2,2 g/cm3 auf, wobei auch diese Grundstoffe eine Viskosität von 2000 mPa.s aufweisen können. Dadurch wird der Spritzenkonus vorgefüllt und so ein späteres Vermischen der einzelnen pigmenthaltigen Grundstoffe zu einem homogenen Pigmentgemisch gewährleistet. Ferner wird dadurch erreicht, daß sich schwere Pigmente nicht in der Spitze des als Dosierbehälter verwendeten Spritzenzylinders absetzen, bevor es zum Mischvorgang kommt.
- In einem zweiten Dosierschritt werden die pigmenthaltigen Grundstoffe volumetrisch oder gravimetrisch in den Dosierbehälter zudosiert. Dabei können herkömmliche Dosieranlagen zum Einsatz kommen.
- In einem dritten Dosierschritt wird pigmentfreies Trägermaterial in den Dosierbehälter gefüllt, bis eine gewünschte Füllmenge erreicht ist. Es muß dabei darauf geachtet werden, daß vor dem Verschließen des Dosierbehälters ein Luftraum zur Verfügung steht, damit die Grundstoffe vollständig vermischt werden können. Die Gesamtfüllmenge des Dosierbehälters sollte max. 80 bis 90 % des Volumens betragen.

Nach dem Aufsetzen des Spritzenkolbens kann das Entlüftungsloch mit einem Etikett verschlossen werden. Nach Verschließen des Dosierbehälters erfolgt ein vorzugsweise berührungsfreies Durchmischen in einer geeigneten Mischvorrichtung, wie etwa einem Biaxialmischer. Es kann sich dabei um einen Standardmischer handeln, für den die vorstehend bereits erläuterten besonderen Einspannvorrichtungen gebaut werden können. Dabei muß auf die Stabilität der Einspannvorrichtungen geachtet werden. Claims (3)
- A method for producing products containing pigments wherein a pigment concentrate from a metering container is added to a pre-specified quantity of a base material and mixed with the latter, wherein in order to produce the pigment concentrate a first base material containing pigments and a second base material preferably also containing pigments is poured into the metering container, and the base materials in the metering container are mixed with one another, the metering container having a syringe cylinder having a plunger opening and an outlet opening, and the plunger opening being closed with the syringe plunger after pouring in the base materials and before the mixing process, characterised in that the syringe cylinder is charged in a first step with a pigment-free base material, and in a second step with base materials containing pigments and having a lesser density than the pigment-free base material.
- The method according to Claim 1, characterised in that the metering container is filled by max. 90%, in particular max. 80%, of its filling volume with the base materials.
- The method according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that a vent opening in a wall of the syringe cylinder facilitating the introduction of the syringe piston through the piston opening is closed after closing the piston opening.
