Definitions

  • the present invention is a decorative fairy lights, especially a decorative fairy lights, which are easy to manufacture and can be assembled by machine to save manual labor.
  • FIG. 7 a conventional decorative lighting is shown, as used in a fairy lights. It consists of a socket (50), a light holder (52) and a light bulb (54).
  • the decorative lighting is connected to two electrical cables (56).
  • the bushing (50) may be a cylindrical body and has a central opening (501) in the cylinder body.
  • Each of the two cables (56) has a conductor (561) which enters the opening (501) and is secured in the opening (501).
  • the light holder (52) is mounted in the socket (50) to hold the bulb (54).
  • the incandescent lamp (54) has two pins for the power line (541) which are bent to make electrical contact with the two respective conductors (561).
  • the disadvantage with conventional decorative lighting is that the cables (56) must be manually inserted into the socket (50) and that they can not be automatically assembled with a machine. The financial and time required for the production of fairy lights increases accordingly.
  • FIG. 8 another conventional decorative lighting of a possible fairy lights is shown. It consists of a socket (60), a light holder (62), a light bulb (64) with two pins for the power line (641) and a base socket (66).
  • the decorative lighting is connected to power cable (68).
  • Each cable (68) has a proximal end formed by a conductor (681).
  • the bushing (60) has a cylindrical body with a through hole (601) and a built-in flange (602) leading out of the cylinder.
  • the light holder (62) is mounted in the through hole (601) of the socket (60) to hold the bulb (64).
  • the two cables (68) can be clamped to the flange (602) and the base (66) when the conductors (681) are mounted in the through hole (601) of the cylindrical body so as to make electrical contact with the two conductive pins (641) of the bulb (64).
  • the decorative lighting lends itself to being automatically assembled by machine, the size and complicated structures of the socket (60) present a new problem to be solved.
  • a decorative fairy lights consist of several light units, which are connected to a power cable.
  • Each lighting unit has a base, a holder, a lighting element and a fixing element.
  • In the base is a channel through which the power cable pulls to the base.
  • the holder is located on the base.
  • the light-emitting element is mounted in the holder and has two pins for the power line which pass through the holder and the socket to make electrical contact with the power cable.
  • the fixing element is mounted in the socket so that the power cable does not come loose from the socket.
  • FIGS. 1 to 3 and 5 to 6 a decorative fairy lights according to the invention is shown, which consists of a power cable 1 and a plurality of lighting units, which are connected to the power cable 1 .
  • the power cable 1 consists of two wires 2, which are covered by an insulating layer 3 . However, the two wires 2 are separated from each other.
  • Each lighting unit is composed of a base 10, a holder 20, a luminous element 30 and a fixing element 40 .
  • the base 10 may have a three-dimensional shape such as a cube, a cylinder, a hexagonal column or similar structures.
  • the base 10 consists of an upper part, a channel 11 , an opening 12 , two rails 13 and an upper bar 14.
  • the channel 11 leads laterally through the base 10 and is traversed by the power cable 1 .
  • the channel 11 has an inner top edge and an inner bottom edge.
  • the aperture 12 is located in the inner lower edge of the channel 11 and is connected to the channel 11 .
  • the power cable 1 can be pushed through the opening 12 in the channel 11 and then fixed in the channel 11 .
  • the two rails 13 are located on the opposite sides of the opening 12 and protrude to the upper bar 14 .
  • the upper bar 14 is located on the inner upper edge of the channel 11, where it rests against the power cable 1 .
  • the holder 20 is shown, which is installed in the top of the base 10 and connected to the channel 11 through two openings 21 which are located in the upper part of the base 10 .
  • the holder 20 forms an orientation plane 22, by means of which the luminous element 30 is inserted, which is brought into the holder 20 in the correct position.
  • the light emitting element 30 may be a light emitting diode (LED) and has two truncated cones 31 for power conduction passing through the insulating layer 3 of the power cable 1 to make electrical contact with the two wires 2 , respectively.
  • the luminous element 30 forms a matching guide plane 32 to the orientation plane (22), thus preventing the luminous element 30 from being improperly mounted in the holder (20).
  • the fixing member 40 has an upper edge, a lower edge with two opposite edges, a lower bar 41, two openings 42, two webs 43 , two joints 44 and a protuberance 45.
  • the lower bar 41 protrudes from the upper edge of the fixing element 40 where it rests against the power cable 1 .
  • the two webs 43 each extend down along the two opposite edges of the lower edge.
  • the protuberance 45 is located on the lower edge and between the two webs 43 , where it forms the two joints 44 .
  • the two joints 44 are respectively connected to the two rails 13 on the base 10 when the protuberance 45 is mounted in the opening 12 , so as to prevent the power cable 1 from being detached from the base 10 .
  • the two conductive pins 31 of the light-emitting element 30 each lead further into the two openings 42 .
  • the fixing element 40 serves on the one hand to fix the power cable 1 with its two wires 2 at the upper edge of the channel 11 and on the other hand to hold the base 10 in its position with respect to the power cable 1 .
  • FIG. 5 shows a further embodiment of the base 10. This is formed as a cylindrical portion.
  • FIG. 6 shows a designed as a right-angled column base 10 of the lighting unit.
  • the light units can be automatically assembled by machine, so that the efficiency of production is optimized. As a result, the manual work can be largely restricted.
  • the various lighting units can be set in different modes, thus creating visual effects such as "flashing” or “chasing”. The "chasing” effects are created by switching the lighting units on and off one after the other.
