Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum Verbrennen fester Brennstoffe, insbesondere Biomassen, wird eine Vorrichtung verwendet, die eine Brennerkammer (1) besitzt, in der auf einen Vorschubrost (3) eine Vorschubrostfeuerung als Primärverbrennung ausgeführt wird. Oberhalb der Brennerkammer (1) ist eine Zyklonkammer (5) angeordnet, in welcher eine Zyklonverbrennung ausgeführt wird. Die Zyklonkammer (5) ist eine Kammer mit im Wesentlichen lotrechter Achse (5) , die an eine Öffnung am oberen Ende (9) der Brennerkammer (1) angeschlossen ist. In der Zyklonkammer (5) wird durch tangential über Düsenstöcke (30, 31) oder Düsen (40, 41) zugeführte Luft eine Drehbewegung der Rauchgase und in dieser enthaltener Feststoffe erreicht, wodurch die Feststoffe nach außen gedrückt werden und gegebenenfalls, wenn sie nicht in der Zyklonverbrennung verbrennen, zurück in die Brennerkammer (1) fallen. Gereinigte Rauchgase werden oben und/oder seitlich aus der Zyklonkammer (5) abgezogen.
