Detergents of various kinds have been known for centuries. In the simplest case, these may be soap powder or similar agents.
Also on the market are a variety of special products that are offered for stain removal, some of which are adapted to very special stain compositions - ketchup, chewing gum, red wine, etc. -. The disadvantage is that for this the exact origin of a stain must be known, which is not given in all cases.
In addition, there are some very aggressive cleaning agents that can attack the material to be cleaned, especially in dyed materials, and also make it necessary for the user to wear protective clothing.
There is therefore still a need for detergents which are as universal as possible and which combine high cleaning performance with acceptable skin compatibility.
- 35 to 45 wt .-% of one or more gasoline fractions
- 15 to 25% by weight of oleic acid methyltaurine or a salt thereof,
- From 5 to 20% by weight of ethoxylated fatty alcohols,
- 15 to 25% by weight of an alkali dithionite.

Surprisingly, the cleaning paste according to the invention in addition to excellent cleaning performance, in particular in stains by e.g. Fruit, iodine, ink, grease, etc. even in dermatological tests a good skin compatibility.
For an open epicutaneous test, 20 skin healthy subjects aged 23-62 years were selected. The product was applied at a concentration of 10% in water on an area of about 3 cm in diameter on the forearm for a ten-minute test period. Thereafter, the parameters erythema, fissure and scaling were read and subjects were asked about subjective sensations such as burning, itching or other abnormalities.
The tested product did not show any effects (both objectively and subjectively) within the scope of this test, so that it can be described as irritation-free in analogy to the evaluation of dishwashing detergents under consideration of the labeling ordinance.
