Abstract

Brandschutzriegel mit bzw. aus einem feuer- bzw. brandresistenten Material sowie Bauteil, Fassade (200) od. dgl., in welchem bzw. welcher ein als Brandschutzriegel (7') eingesetzter Formteil aus miteinander zusammenhängenden bzw. verbundenen expandierten Polystyrolgranulat-Teilchen - bzw. -Perlen, welche zumindest über Teilbereiche ihrer Oberflächen mit zumindest einem feuer- bzw. brandausbreitungshemmenden Material bzw. mit einem derartigen Additiv versehen, beschichtet oder bedeckt sind, eingebaut ist, und die Verwendung dieser EPS-Formteile als Brandschutzriegel (7) bzw. Brandschutzbanderolen (700), insbesondere in Gebäudefassaden (Fig. 1).
