Abstract

L'invention concerne une cupule et/ou un insert acétabulaire pour une prothèse d'articulation de la hanche dont la tige (1) peut être couplée à une tête condylienne (2) qui elle-même peut être insérée en rotation dans la calotte de l'insert acétabulaire (3). Pour éviter les grincements, l'invention propose de réaliser la cupule (4) et/ou l'insert acétabulaire (3) sous une forme asymétrique en ce qui concerne sa géométrie externe (12) et/ou interne (13) et/ou sa composition matérielle.
