Description

The present invention relates to a device for applying color patterns to at least one wick strand of loosely assembled or yarn-spun hairs and / or fibers and / or textiles with a dyeing device and a transport device for moving the wick strand relative to the dyeing device, the device having a retarding device which puts the wick strand moved by the transport device under tension. A generic device for applying color samples is in the document WO 2004/038086 A1 disclosed.

Wick strands of loosely assembled hair such as sheep hair are dyed in the prior art with the so-called Vigoureux sampling technique. It is about the application of each of several horizontal stripes or staining on each hair. The strip spacing and the strip widths determine the color intensity of the later twisted thread or of the finished cloth. Due to the partial printing a mélange is achieved in the structure of the finished cloth. The density and thus the number of stains per hair is the key to the later quality level of the finished cloth. At the booth of the Vigoureux technique, relief printing rollers are used for the printing process, which anvil the pattern on the wick strand. The previously known printing processes have two major disadvantages. On the one hand, frequent cleaning of the printing device is required in order to maintain the quality standard. On the other hand, the desire to increase the number of stains per hair meets technological limits.

The object of the invention is to improve a generic device to the effect that as many staining per hair are possible.

This is inventively characterized in that the transport device has a, preferably driven by a drive device, transport wheel with a laterally limited at its periphery, preferably by side guide webs, guide path for the wick strand and that the dyeing device is arranged in the region of the guide rail of the transport wheel and the color on the in the guide rail of the transport wheel bent or curved guided wick strand applies.

The tensile stress or pretensioning of the wick strand achieved by means of the retarding device results in a rich support of the wick strand on the transport device, whereby a certain strength in the application zone in which the dyeing device applies the pattern is achieved. In addition, a slight stretching and a flat drawing of the Wick strand in the application zone is achieved, whereby the pattern application can be made very precisely with the coloring device. This makes it possible to increase the number of stains per hair.

With the device according to the invention not only loosely assembled hair and / or fibers and / or textiles can be dyed. The same is also possible for wick strands of yarn-like spun together hair and / or fibers and / or textiles. In particular when using the device according to the invention for the so-called space-dye process, several already spun yarns of the wick strand can be guided so close to one another on the transport device that they appear as a surface during the application process, ie during inking. As a result, the applied color is fully adsorbed by the yarns, resulting in no color loss.

In order to eliminate or mitigate the above-mentioned need for frequent cleaning of the dyeing device, which is objectionable in the prior art, a further aspect of the invention provides that the dyeing device is designed to apply, preferably spray-on, paint on and / or into the wicking strand, without this physical contact between the wick and dyeing device is provided. As a result, a contactless application of the ink is possible, which eliminates the problems occurring in the prior art with the cleaning of the relief printing rollers used there.

In order to achieve a full coverage of the wicking strand on the transport device in the region of the application zone of the dyeing device, it is generally advantageous if the transporting device has an arched and / or channel-shaped guide path for the wicking strand, preferably in the region of the dyeing device. Im in Fig. 1 In the embodiment shown, this is achieved by designing the guiding device and the retarding device so that the wicking member 1 is guided on a substantially omega-shaped path. The transport device has a, preferably driven by a drive device, transport wheel 3 with a laterally limited on its circumference 10 by side guide webs 5 track 6 for the wick strand 1. The delay device is in this embodiment a, preferably driven by the transport wheel 3, feed wheel 4. This also has at its periphery 10 'by a side guide webs 5' limited guide track 6 'for the wick strand 1 on. The desired tension on the wick strand 1 is achieved by the peripheral speed of the guide track 6 of the transport wheel 3 is greater than the peripheral speed of the guide rail 6 'of the feed wheel 4 in the operation of the device. Before their introduction by means of the feed wheel 4, the wicks are free in itself known Karders. Several wicks, for example, ten, are united in their transport to the feed wheel 4 in a not shown here but known ring guide to the wick strand 1. After the transfer from the feed wheel 4 to the transport wheel 3, the wick strand 1 is fed to the application zone defined by the coloring devices 2 in the slightly prestressed state. Here the coloring process takes place. Subsequently, the take-off wheel 8 takes over the dyed wick strand 1 and transfers it to a conveyor belt 9 for further processing of the wick strand 1. The take-off wheel 8 is conveniently designed to run freely and has its own drive. This makes it possible the transport speed at which the take-off wheel 8 supplies the wick strand 1 to the conveyor belt 9 to set slightly higher or equal to the transport speed of the transport wheel 3. To guide the Wick strand 1 conveniently have both the feed wheel 4 and the transport wheel 3 and the take-off 8 at its periphery channel-shaped recesses, as in the FIGS. 2 and 3 for the feed wheel 4 and the transport wheel 3 are shown. The channel is thereby formed by the guideways 6 and 6 'and by the side guide webs 5 and 5'. The directions of rotation of the three wheels are in Fig. 1 illustrated by the corresponding arrows.

To be able to adapt to the predetermined speeds of the feed wheel 4 and the transport wheel 3 bias to different thicknesses and strengths of the wick strand 1, it is preferably provided that the rotational speeds of these two wheels as finely regulated and can be matched. There are both mechanical and electronic solutions for this fine-tuning of the speed.

In a mechanical solution variant is provided that the feed wheel 4 with the transport wheel 3, preferably slip-free, is positively coupled. For this purpose, a not shown but simply technically feasible pressing device may be provided, which presses the transport wheel 3 and the feed wheel 4 at their respective peripheral surfaces 10, 10 '- here with the respective side bars 5, 5' - to each other. In this slip-free case results in a lower transport speed of the feed wheel 4 with respect to the transport speed of the transport wheel 3 and thus the desired delay effect when the product of the radius r1 of the peripheral surface 10 'of the feed wheel 4 with the radius r3 of the guide rail of the transport wheel 2 is greater than that Product of the radius r2 of the guide track 6 'of the feed wheel 4 with the radius r4 of the circumferential surface 10 of the transport wheel 3. If now a feed wheel 4 is used, which, in particular in the area of the side guide webs 5', has elastically deformable material, such as rubber. so can increase and decrease by varying degrees of pressing the feed wheel 4 to the transport wheel 3, the radius r1. As a result, the ratio of the transport speeds of the feed wheel 4 and the transport wheel 3 is changed automatically. This is a simple but very well functioning form the fine regulation of the transport speeds and thus the tension applied to the wick strand 1.

As an alternative to the described mechanical solution, the desired preload can also be effected by a preferably electronic control of the rotational speed of a feed wheel 4 which is not pressed against the transport wheel 3. In this case, then the feed wheel 4 should have its own drive, which allows in the desired manner a fine speed regulation as a function of the rotational speed of the transport wheel 3. In addition, it is of course also possible to install various types of transmissions known per se between the transport wheel 3 and feed wheel 4 in order to achieve the desired bias effect.

Fig. 2 shows the transfer of the wick strand 1 between feed wheel 4 and transport wheel 3 in the area A of Fig. 1. Fig. 3 shows how in the application zone, ie in the field of coloring devices 2 by means of the tension a full circulation of the wick strand 1 on the guide track 6 of the transport wheel 3 is achieved. The wick strand 1 fills the entire limited by the side guide webs 5 and the guideway 6 channel, whereby a particularly high-quality application of the color is possible.

According to the second aspect of the invention takes place in the illustrated embodiment of the Fig. 1 a contactless application of color. For this purpose, four adjacent nozzle packages 2 are provided for spraying paint on the wick strand 1 in this embodiment. In principle, a nozzle package 2 would be sufficient. In a particularly preferred variant, however, it is provided to apply different colors, such as red and blue and yellow and black, to the wick strand 1, for which, in the exemplary embodiment shown, the four nozzle packages 2 are provided for one color each. Each of these nozzle packages 2 carries - as in Fig. 4 shown on its side facing the application zone a plurality of nozzles 7 for spraying the paint. It is preferably provided that the nozzles 7 at least partially individually and / or controlled in groups - in particular to open and close - are. In addition, to ensure the best conditions for the pattern application, the distance between the nozzles 7 or the nozzle packages 2 to the wick strand 1 and the transport wheel 3 be adjustable. The application width can be adapted to the wick strand width by connecting or disconnecting the nozzles 7 located at the edge. As in Fig. 4 illustrated, it is also favorable, the nozzles 7 of the nozzle assembly 2, based on the transport direction 11 of the wick strand 1, laterally offset from each other to order so that upon complete opening of all nozzles 7, the color is applied in a closed area. All settings of the nozzle packages 2 are preferably programmable. This makes it possible to apply any pattern in very high quality and multi-color - for example, with trichromatic effect - on the wick strand 1.

An apparatus for applying colour patterns to at least one wick thread comprising hairs and/or fibres and/or textiles which are loosely assembled or which are spun thread-like with each other, comprising a dyeing device and a transport device for moving the wick thread relative to the dyeing device, wherein the apparatus has a delay device which sets the wick thread moved by the transport device under a tensile stress, characterized in that the transport device has a transport wheel (3) driven by a drive device, the transport wheel (3) has a guide path (5) arranged at its periphery for the wick thread (1), and that the dyeing device (2) is arranged in the region of the guide path (6) of the transport wheel (3) and applies the dye to the wick thread (1) which is guided in an arcuate shape or curved in the guide path (6) of the transport wheel (3).
  2. The apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the guide path (6) of the transport wheel (3) is laterally delimited by side guide limbs (5).
  3. The apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the delay device has an intake wheel (4), which is preferably driven by the transport wheel (3), with a guide path (6') for the wick thread (1), that is preferably arranged at its periphery and/or is laterally delimited by side guide limbs (5').
  4. The apparatus according to claim 2 and 3, characterized in that the transport wheel (3) and the intake wheel (4) can be driven in such a way that in operation of the apparatus, the peripheral speed of the guide path (6) of the transport wheel (3) is, preferably adjustably, greater than the peripheral speed of the guide path (6') of the intake wheel (4).
  5. The apparatus according to claim 4, characterized in that the intake wheel (4) is, preferably in a slip-free manner, positively coupled to the transport wheel (3).
  6. The apparatus according to claim 5, characterized in that, for the preferably slip-free, positive coupling of the transport wheel (3) and the intake wheel (4) there is provided a contact pressing device which is configured such so as to press the transport wheel (3) and the intake wheel (4) against each other at their respective peripheral surfaces (10, 10'), preferably with the respective side limbs (5, 5').
  7. The apparatus according to one of the claims 3 to 6, characterized in that the intake wheel (4) includes elastically deformable material, for example rubber.
  8. The apparatus according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the guide device and the delay device are configured such so as to guide the wick thread (1) on a substantially omega-shaped path.
  9. The apparatus according to one of the claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the dyeing device is configured such so as to apply, preferably to spray, dye onto and/or into the wick thread (1) without physical contact between the wick thread (1) and the dyeing device.
  10. The apparatus according to claim 9, characterized in that the dyeing device has at least one and preferably a plurality of nozzle assemblies (2) each having at least one and preferably a respective plurality of nozzles (7), wherein in the case of a plurality of nozzles (7), these can be actuated at least partially individually and/or in groups.
  11. Use of the apparatus according to one of the claims 1 to 10, preferably in a space-dye-process, wherein a plurality of yarns which are already spun of the wick thread (1) are guided in a condition of bearing closely against each other by the transport device in such a way that in the region of the dyeing device, so that the yarns are arranged substantially in the form of a closed surface.
