Claims (30)

  1. A lamp housing, particularly a spotlight housing, which contains an accommodating apparatus for a burner or a lamp with a glass vessel, a lamp base and contact pins for supplying current, and a lampholder with sockets for connection to the contact pins, the accommodating apparatus containing clamping jaws, which can be connected to the lamp base in a force-fitting and/or interlocking manner, engage at least partially around the lamp base, are articulated, via lever arms, on the lamp housing or a lampholder mount, which is fixed to the housing and is connected to the lamp housing, and can be adjusted by means of an adjusting device, which has at least one adjusting element, which is arranged between the lever arms and pushes the lever arms apart from one another for opening the clamping jaws (3, 4) into an opening position, in which the lamp base is released, and brings the lever arms together for closing the clamping jaws into a locking position, in which the lamp base is fixed,
    characterized
    in that the adjusting element (5, 6) is capable of rotating about an adjusting spindle (7) and, with parts which are at different distances from the adjusting spindle (7) and are arranged diametrically with respect to one another in relation to the adjusting spindle (7), bears against the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42).
  2. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the adjusting spindle (7) is connected to the adjusting element (5, 6) and an actuating element for the adjusting device (5, 6, 7) for opening or closing the clamping jaws (3, 4).
  3. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the adjusting spindle (7) extends at right angles to the longitudinal extent of the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42).
  4. The lamp housing as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the adjusting device (5, 6, 7) pushes the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42), which are prestressed into the locking position of the clamping jaws (3, 4), apart from one another counter to the prestress or brings them together in the direction of the prestress.

The lamp housing as claimed in claim 6, characterized in that the cam disk comprises an ellipsoidal disk (51, 52), which is preferably mounted centrally between the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42), and whose circumferential, peripheral rim is supported on bearings (34, 35; 44, 45), which are connected to or formed on the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42).
  8. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 7, characterized in that the bearings comprise bronze bearings (34, 35; 44, 45) in the form of circular disks.
  9. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 8, characterized in that the bronze bearings (34, 35; 44, 45) in the form of circular disks are fastened to the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42) in such a way that they can rotate.
  10. The lamp housing as claimed in one of the preceding claims 5 to 9, characterized in that the adjusting spindle (7) runs through the center of the cam disk or ellipsoidal disk (51, 52).
  11. The lamp housing as claimed in one of the preceding claims 5 to 9, characterized in that the adjusting spindle (7) runs eccentrically through the cam disk or ellipsoidal disk (51, 52).
  12. The lamp housing as claimed in one of the preceding claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the adjusting element comprises a roller bearing (6), which acts on the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42) and can rotate about the adjusting spindle (7).
  13. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 12, characterized in that the roller bearing (6) has at least two bearing rollers (61 to 64), which are spaced apart from one another, are arranged at the periphery of a roller mount (65 to 67), which is capable of rotating about the adjusting spindle (7), and are supported, when the clamping jaws (3, 4) are open or closed, on the lower or upper sides of the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42) or on supports (39, 49), which are formed on or connected to the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42).
  14. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 13, characterized in that the roller bearing (6) has two bearing rollers (61, 62 and 63, 64), which are arranged diametrically with respect to one another at the ends of the roller mount (65 and 66), which is capable of rotating about the adjusting spindle (7), and, when the clamping jaws (3, 4) are open, bear against the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42), which are prestressed in the closing direction of the clamping jaws (3, 4).
  15. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 14, characterized in that the roller mount comprises two supporting arms (65, 66), which intersect one another at right angles and are of different lengths and whose point of intersection is connected to the adjusting spindle (7), the bearing rollers (61, 62), which are arranged at the ends of the longer supporting arm (65), pushing the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42) apart from one another for opening the clamping jaws (3, 4), and the bearing rollers- (63, 64), which are arranged at the ends of the shorter supporting arm (66), bearing against the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42) when the clamping jaws (3, 4) are closed.
  16. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 13, characterized in that the roller mount (67) is in the form of an equilateral triangle, and in that the bearing rollers (61 to 63) are arranged at the corners of the triangular roller mount (67).
  17. The lamp housing as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the actuating element, which is connected to the adjusting spindle (7), comprises an adjusting lever or adjusting knob, which is arranged on the outside of the lamp housing or within the lamp housing and in a depression of the lamp housing and is covered by a flap.
  18. The lamp housing as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the adjusting spindle (7) or the actuating element is connected to a latching or locking device, which secures the opening or closing position of the clamping jaws (3, 4).
  19. The lamp housing as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42) are arranged on both sides of the lampholder (2) and, at their front end, are connected to an upper and lower (in the direction of gravitation) clamping jaw (3, 4), and in that a cam disk or ellipsoidal disk (51, 52) is provided between the two lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42), which are arranged on each side of the lampholder (2).
  20. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 19, characterized in that the cam disks or ellipsoidal disks (51, 52) are connected to the adjusting spindle (7), which is guided through the lampholder (2).
  21. The lamp housing as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the upper and lower lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42) are connected to one another at their end opposite the upper and lower clamping jaw (3, 4) via a transverse web (33, 43).
  22. The lamp housing as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the upper and lower lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42) are braced with one another via tension springs and/or compression springs.
  23. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 22, characterized in that the upper and lower lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42) are braced with one another via tension springs, which are arranged in the region of the clamping jaws (3, 4) between the upper and lower lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42).
  24. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 22, characterized in that the upper and lower clamping jaw (3, 4) and/or the upper and lower lever arms (31, 32; 41, 42) are connected to the lamp housing or the lampholder mount (1), which is connected to the lamp housing, via compression springs.

  26. The lamp housing as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the actuating element is connected to a device for opening and closing sockets (71, 72; 81, 82) of a lampholder (2).
  27. The lamp housing as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the clamping jaws (3, 4) are designed to be polygonal and preferably have a trapezoidal cutout from a rectangular surface.
  28. The lamp housing as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the clamping jaws (3, 4) can be spread apart from one another in the direction of gravitation upwards and downwards.
  29. The lamp housing as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the clamping jaws (3, 4), axially spaced apart from one another, accommodate the lamp base, and in that the lampholder (2) is supported on the lamp housing in such a way that it is freely moveable.
  30. The lamp housing as claimed in claim 29, characterized in that the lampholder (2) is connected to the lampholder mount (1) in spring-elastic fashion.
