Description

The invention relates to a battery-operated electric hand tool device with an electronic control unit and a wireless and contactless addressable transceiver and a memory device on which an authorization code is stored, wherein an operation lock state and an operation release state are distinguishable. Furthermore, the invention relates to a battery pack for this purpose.

Such an electric hand tool device interacts with a user-led and largely miniaturized external separate device, which has a battery-operated transceiver device. Using this separate control device, it is possible to intentionally cause the electric hand tool device to be put into an operation lock state or a service release state in which the device can be used by a user. Such an electric hand tool device is described in DE 102 38 710 A1 and DE 103 09 703 A1 the applicant. The latter document is concerned with the fact that the theft of electrical hand tool devices located in the operating release state should be made largely unattractive, which is achieved by requesting an authorization code signal from the external device carried by the authorized user from the electric hand tool device from time to time. If no corresponding authorization code signal is received, This will put the device in the locked state, rendering it unavailable to an unauthorized stunner.

There are other electric hand tool devices with theft protection devices widely known. So is according to DE 44 29 206 C2 proposed an anti-theft device, in each case after insertion of a freshly charged battery or after plugging in the power connector of the electric power tool in the power outlet runs a test routine that checks the presence of a meanwhile constantly to be sent code signal. If no code signal is received within a certain period of time, the machine is placed in the operating lock state. However, if the correct code signal is received, the machine will remain in an operating release state until the power plug is unplugged or reinserted, or the battery is replaced or deflated. So it will be after DE 44 29 206 C2 Attempts to make the theft unattractive by the fact that the operating release state remains when removing the electric hand tool device from Codesignalsender only a limited time, ie at the longest until the next battery change. The aforementioned codesignalsender is not housed in an external, separately carried device but should be fixed according to this document, for example, be provided.iner tool hall. In this way it should be achieved that the electric hand tool device can only be taken at an acceptable workplace in use. Furthermore, the mentioned device proves to be disadvantageous, as for a proper functioning, the code signal must be quasi constantly sent out in the direction of the power tool. At the very least, the code signal must be displayed during a restart after a battery change or plugging in the power plug over a relatively long period of time to be sent out. The code signal transmitter must be supplied with energy. It must therefore be either connected to a battery charger, so that at least always after removal of a battery from the charger for a long time the code signal is emitted, or the code transmitter must be permanently connected to a power supply. In any case, it would not be possible to provide the Codesignalsender in an external, separately portable device, since the required power supply for practical reasons could not be guaranteed with conventional batteries. On the basis of the DE 44 29 206 C2 Known concept would be the formation of the code signal transmitter as an external portable device, especially in the size of a key fob, not suitable due to short battery life. An anti-theft device for the battery pack is not provided.

Furthermore, it is off DE 100 29 138 A1 an electric hand tool device with a theft protection on transponder basis known. In this case, the electric hand tool device has a transmitting / receiving device. Its control electronics always endeavor to assume an operational blocking state in which the device can not be operated. If a user wants to operate the device, he needs a transponder. On the machine side, an electromagnetic field is emitted, the z. B. accommodated in a bracelet transponder with energy, so that it emits an authorization code signal, which in turn is received by the transmitting / receiving device of the electric power tool. However, the transponder must be in the immediate vicinity of the electric hand tool, as he otherwise the to Sending an authorization code signal can not absorb required energy. If the authorization code signal emitted by the transponder coincides with the authorization code stored in the storage device of the electric hand tool device, the device is put into an operating release state and can be operated. The above-described query is then carried out batchwise. Only as long as this communication identifies an authorized user, the electric hand tool device remains operational.

A transponder extracts the energy required for functioning from the electromagnetic field acting on it. Therefore, it is also imperative that the transponder is placed in the immediate vicinity of the electric hand tool device to enable activation of the device. As soon as a user moves away for a short time, the device switches back to the operating lock state, which can prove annoying in practice. An anti-theft device for the battery pack is not provided.

The present invention has for its object to make the theft of battery-powered electric hand tool and battery packs even more unattractive.

This object is achieved in that a wired or wireless interface is provided by the control electronics of the electric power tool to a battery pack, so that closing information from the control electronics of the electric hand tool to the battery pack übermittelbar and stored in a storage device of the battery pack and are read out again from the memory device ,

In the manner according to the invention, the battery pack is integrated or included in the theft protection device of the electric hand tool device. The interface of the electric hand tool device to an external transmitting / receiving device is to a certain extent also used for the battery pack. Closing information, which receives the electric hand tool from the outside via its transmitting / receiving device via the mentioned wired or wireless interface between the control electronics of the electric hand tool and the battery packs to the battery pack and stored there. The control electronics of the electric hand tool device can thus actively take over the theft protection for the battery pack by closing information can be stored on the battery pack and stored in a storage device of the battery pack and vice versa closing information read from a storage device of the battery pack and processed in the control electronics of the electric hand tool. For these purposes, it proves to be advantageous that in the battery pack not necessarily a sophisticated control electronics with evaluation logic and computing capacity must be provided, but it is sufficient in principle that provided via the control electronics of the electric hand tool device via the mentioned interface addressable or interrogatable storage device in the battery pack is. However, it is expressly pointed out that computing capacity may additionally be provided in the battery pack, in particular for carrying out further functions and optionally for the purpose of cooperating with a charger.

It would be conceivable and advantageous that the control electronics of the electric hand tool device is designed so that closing information to one or more predetermined Time points or time intervals or in the presence of predetermined or predefinable conditions transmitted via the interface to the battery pack and / or be read from the memory device of the battery pack. It is then possible in this way to check again and again or ensure that there is a Nutzüngberechtigung for the battery pack currently in use and used.

Advantageously, the control electronics of the electric hand tool device can also be designed so that when connecting a battery pack with the electric hand tool a stored in the memory device of the electric hand tool device authorization code or a closing information in the broadest sense automatically transmitted via the interface to the battery pack and there in the memory device of the battery pack is stored and / or read an stored in the memory device of the battery pack authorization code and is given via the interface to the control electronics of the electric power tool.

It is further proposed to design the control electronics of the electric hand tool device in such a way that starting from an operating release state of the electric hand tool device at one or more predetermined times or when predetermined or predefinable conditions are present, an authorization code signal request is sent to an external transceiver in a device that can be carried by a user becomes. This has the advantage that the external transceiver does not have to be constantly in a transmission mode, but it is sufficient that a readiness to receive the mentioned authorization code signal request is maintained.

In a further development of this idea, the external transceiver is designed so that upon receipt of an authorization code signal request, a transmission mode is activated and an authorization code signal is sent to the transmitting / receiving device of the electric hand tool and then the transmission mode is again automatically deactivated. In this way, an energy-saving operation of the external transceiver is possible, which can be powered by a battery for long periods of energy.

Next, the control electronics and the transmitting / receiving device of the electric power tool is designed so that after evaluation of the received authorization code signal and comparison with the stored in the memory device of the electric hand tool device authorization code and stored in the memory device of the battery pack and readable via the interface authorization code, the electric hand tool either remains in the operation enable state or is set in the operation prohibited state. It is therefore in turn the battery pack by means of the locking information stored there with included in the theft protection of the electric power tool. If comparative information to be compared does not match, a comparison thus results in that either the electric hand tool device or the battery pack has no stored information, for example, with an authorization information transmitted by said external transceiver (Code key), the further operation of the device is prohibited by the fact that both the electric hand tool device and the battery pack are put into an operating lock state.

Furthermore, it proves to be advantageous if the electric hand tool device has a display device for displaying the operating state (release state or blocking state) of the electric hand tool device and the operating state of the battery pack.

Further features, details and advantages will become apparent from the drawings and the following description of a preferred embodiment of the battery-powered electric hand tool device according to the invention. In the drawing shows:
FIG. 1
a schematic representation of an electric hand tool device according to the invention with a battery pack and carried by a person entitled device with an external transmitting / receiving device for transmitting closing information.

FIG. 1 1 shows a battery-operated electric hand tool device, generally designated by the reference numeral 2, with a battery pack 4 connected thereto and with an external battery-operated device 6 that can be carried by an authorized user, with a schematically indicated external transceiver device 8. The transceiver device 8 is capable of being connected via an interface connection 10 , preferably a wireless and non-contact interface, such as an optical interface (eg, infrared interface), to communicate with a transceiver 12 of the handheld power tool. This interacts with an electronic control unit 14 in the electric hand tool device, wherein information obtained via the interface 10 can be stored in a memory device 16 and read from there again. This information may be an authorization code identifying an authorized user. In the memory device 6 but also other operating parameters., Which relate to the electric hand tool or its operation, be deposited. Information or data used to place the power hand tool device in an operation lock state or an operation release state will also be referred to as closing information hereinafter. As in DE 103 09 703 A1 As described by the applicant, such closing information can be transmitted via the interface 10 via the external device 6 which can be carried by an authorized user be given to the electric hand tool 2 and stored there in the memory device 6. This closing information stored there is used after predetermined or predefinable time intervals for a check as to whether the electric hand tool device can continue to be operated from an operating release state or is put into a blocking state. For example, the control electronics 14 of the electric hand tool device 2 may be designed so that it sends an authorization code signal request via the interface 10 to the external device after predetermined or predeterminable time intervals or in the presence of predetermined or predefinable conditions via the device's internal transmitting / receiving device. This authorization code signal request is received by the external device 6 via its transmitting / receiving device, and then the external device 6 is activated, that is, transferred from an energy-saving reception mode in an active transmission mode. The device 6 or its control electronics then causes the transmission of a predetermined or predetermined authorization code signal via the interface 10 to the electric hand tool 2. This signal is received via the transmitting / receiving device 12 and evaluated by the control electronics 14, that is, the information content of the signal is determined and compared with the stored in the memory device 16 closing information. If the authorization code is correct, the electric hand tool device remains in the released state. If the code is not correct or if the electric hand tool device does not receive an answer to its authorization code signal request, for example because the device was stolen without authorization, ie is located away from the authorized user and his external device 6, then the electric hand tool device is set to the operating blocking state. A further operation is then not possible. This measure of dislocation in the locked state is in FIG. 1 schematically indicated by a switch 18 for interrupting the power or power supply of an electric motor 20.

According to the invention, the battery pack 4 is also integrated in the anti-theft protection as described above. The electrical hand tool device has a further, wired or wireless interface 22 between the control electronics 14 and the battery pack 4. The interface 22 is preferably designed so that it is only active when the electric hand tool device is connected to the battery pack 4 for its intended use. However, it would also be conceivable to form the interface 22 wirelessly and without contact in such a way that bidirectional communication between the electric hand tool 2 and the battery pack 4 is possible even if they are not yet connected to one another in the vicinity of each other. Via the interface 22 closing information obtained from the external device 6 can be transmitted in the broadest sense of the control electronics 14 of the electric hand tool device to the battery pack 4 and stored there in a memory device 24 or read out of this memory device 24 again. It would be sufficient in itself that the battery pack 4 has only one memory device 24, which can be described and read starting from the control electronics 14 of the electric hand tool device 2. But it would also be conceivable and advantageous that the battery pack 4, in particular if it is designed as a lithium-ion battery pack, own control electronics 26 includes. Especially in this case, it would also be conceivable and advantageous that the battery pack itself has a wireless and contactless addressable transmitting / receiving device 28, which in principle has a Interface 30 with the external device 6 could represent.

The electric hand tool 2 or its control electronics 4 is formed in a preferred embodiment of the invention that are obtained via the interface 10 closing information stored both in the device-internal memory device 16 and given via the interface 22 to the battery pack 4 and in the memory device 24 of the battery pack be deposited. If, in a subsequent authorization check, either the closing information stored in the memory device 24 of the battery pack 4 or the closing information stored in the memory device 16 of the electric hand tool device 2 does not coincide with an authorization code signal received from the external device 6, both the electric hand tool device 2 and the battery pack become 4 is set in an operation prohibited state. For example, this can prevent the control electronics 26 of the battery pack 4 via a switch, not shown, a current or voltage delivery of the battery cells to a consumer until it is actively transferred from this operating blocking state back into an operating release state.
