Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a package for bulk materials, in particular a bag made of plastic, with a packaging wall enveloping the bulk material. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing a package for bulk materials, in particular a bag made of plastic.
Known packages are made of a flexible material, for example sacks of a plastic film, and serve to encase various bulk materials, such as flour, granules or the like, which are used, inter alia, in the food industry or the chemical industry. Such bulk materials are possibly only intermediates and should be transported with the help of packaging or possibly stored before further processing can take place.
When filling, during transport or during storage of such packages, the outside of the packaging may be contaminated by residues of bulk material or other conceivable influences, such as, for example, excrements of small animals. The contaminants can adhere to the outside of the packaging and then, if appropriate, arrive at a further processing process when emptying the packaging, together with the bulk material discharged from the packaging. The contaminants cause contamination and possibly unusability of the manufactured product.
The invention has the object to improve a package of the aforementioned genus such that adhering to the packaging contaminants can not get into the processing.
This object is achieved by a package with the features of
In a package for bulk materials, in particular in a bag made of plastic, with a wrapping material enveloping the packaging wall, the invention provides that at least part of the Verpakkungswand has at least one outer protective cover, that the protective cover and the packaging wall in predetermined areas via at least one common connection point are interconnected, and that each connection point has at least one weakening element.
The protective cover can be easily removed with advantage immediately before emptying the packaging, so that there is always a clean or no impurities having, single or multi-layered packaging wall. In particular, when filling a production plant with the bulk material to be processed, soiling can no longer reach the filling area of the production plant, whereby unnecessary or unacceptable contamination of the product produced is avoided. Thus, on the one hand prevent the production of waste and on the other hand, a consistent quality of the product is always guaranteed. Sufficient contact between the protective cover and the packaging wall can already be provided, for example, with the aid of a connection point in the bottom region of the packaging, wherein at least one further connection point between Packaging wall and protective cover, for example, in the upper edge region of the packaging is conceivable.
According to a first advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the weakening member is a weakening the joint coating, which is applied between the protective cover and the Verpakkungswand. The use of a coating makes it possible, for example, to so easily weaken a bonded joint that the protective cover is held on the packaging wall, but nevertheless can be separated from the packaging wall without difficulty or without the aid of aids if necessary. The coating is preferably applied circumferentially between the protective cover and the packaging wall in the bottom region and in the upper edge region or in the region of the filling opening of the packaging.
In the region of the joint, the degree of weakening can advantageously be influenced simply by a coating applied in sections. In particular, forces that arise when filling or during transport of the packaging according to the invention and excessively act on the connection points, can be added with advantage and unwanted separation of the protective cover can be avoided by the packaging wall. Differently greatly weakened joints, which vary in the packaging sizes and the weight of the packaged bulk material to be accommodated therein, can be created, for example by using different types of coatings in addition to sections of the applied coating having different lengths.
The coating is advantageously a release varnish, which can advantageously be easily brought into contact both with the outside of the packaging wall and with the inside of the protective cover. The release lacquer thereby reduces the ability of forming a cohesive Connection between the surfaces of the packaging wall and the protective cover in the region of a respective connection point of the packaging, so that the hose-like outer protective cover can be stripped from the inner packaging wall of the bag. In addition to a release coating, it is of course also possible to use other coatings or release agents, such as talcum, that lower the adhesion between the protective cover and the packaging wall.
Instead of a coating applied between the protective cover and the packaging wall as a weakening element, it is alternatively possible to arrange a weakening line in the protective cover. By means of a line of weakness arranged in the region of the connection, the protective cover can also be removed in an advantageously simple manner from the packaging wall. The transverse to the longitudinal axis of the package extending, and thus formed as a transverse perforation weakening line is preferably mounted circumferentially in the protective cover both in the bottom region and in the upper edge region of the packaging according to the invention. It is also possible that in each case a weakening line formed as a perforation is arranged in the outer edge region of the bottom and of the upper opening edge of the packaging.
A further possibility of forming a weakening element is the use of predetermined combinations of materials for the packaging wall and the protective cover. With the help of appropriate materials, each having different properties, can be achieved in the region of the joints, inter alia, a desired degree of weakening. For example, two polymers are used, such as polyethylene and polypropylene, which, in the case of a connection point produced by material connection, enter into weakened contact with one another, which can easily be loosened if necessary.
According to a development of the invention, it is provided that, in addition to a weakening element weakening the joint, each protective sheath has at least one desired separation line extending in the longitudinal direction of the package. With the help of trained as a longitudinal perforation for example predetermined breaking line, the protective cover can be split or open in an advantageous simple manner in the longitudinal direction, then by the lateral repelling of the separated protective cover in combination with the transversely aligned weakenings a simplified separation in a kind of peeling of the To be able to make Verpakkungswand. The packaging according to the invention can have both on its front side and on its rear side a predetermined separation line extending in the longitudinal direction of the packaging in the protective cover, which advantageously facilitates the separation and peeling of the protective cover of a packaging stacked on transport pallets.
The packaging wall and the protective cover have different material thicknesses. The weight resulting from the mass of the packaged bulk material is completely absorbed by the packaging wall forming the actual carrier, so that foils with a substantially smaller material thickness or material thickness can be used for the protective wrapper. Thus, the use of material for producing the packaging according to the invention can be advantageously reduced. In order to ensure both predetermined strength values and advantageously simple peeling off of the protective cover, preferably certain minimum or maximum dimensions for the selected material thickness of the protective cover should not be fallen below or exceeded. Such protective sheaths may for example have a material thickness or thickness in the range of 20 to 100 microns. It is also possible that the protective cover and the packaging wall have almost equal thicknesses of material. Of course, the enveloped by the protective cover packaging wall can also be designed in several layers.
The material for the protective cover is a plastic, for example polyethylene or polypropylene, whose use has proved successful for plastic films in terms of optimum mechanical properties and processing options. The flexibility of the plastic used allows the sheathing of bags of different shapes and sizes. Furthermore, prevents a plastic protective cover the contact of the packaging wall with moisture, so that with advantage packaging material or bags made of paper can be coated with such a protective cover. At the same time, the protective cover, due to the material properties of the plastic used, improve the aging resistance.
According to a next development of the invention it is provided that the connection point is formed as a weld. In particular, in a likewise made of plastic packaging wall, any connection point between the packaging wall and protective cover over a weld advantageously can be easily and optionally produce sufficient strength. In this case, the connection point can be formed together with a bottom weld seam interconnecting the insides of the packaging wall. It is also possible, for example, to create a joint using adhesive methods.
Furthermore, a method for producing a package for bulk materials is provided, in particular for producing a bag made of plastic, in which according to the invention at least one tube section is prefabricated to the prefabricated tube section is placed in the longitudinal direction of a material web equipped with at least one weakening organ, overlapping areas of the Material web interconnected and a closed protective cover is formed, the protective cover and the hose section are folded together to form a flat hose, and at least one cohesive Joint between the protective cover and at least one end of the hose section is generated.
With the aid of the method steps according to the invention, a packaging can be produced with a protective cover covering the outside of a packaging wall, in which, caused by the weakening elements in the region of the connection point, shortly before the emptying of the packed bulk material, the outer envelope with dirt possibly adhering to it is advantageous easy way to remove, so that no contamination of the bulk material is caused in a possible further processing. For the preparation of the packaging, individually prefabricated tube sections as well as an endless tube can be used for the packaging wall forming a carrier, which are encased by at least a portion of a material web present as a plastic film. The material web has in predetermined areas or sections at least one, for example, as a coating and / or predetermined breaking line trained weakening organ to effect a weakening of the protective sheath to the packaging wall connecting joint and / or the sheath itself. The width of the material web is chosen such that the side regions of the material web form a mutually overlapping region after the wrapping of the packaging wall forming an inner casing. The overlap area can be connected to each other by means of material closure, such as welding or gluing. As a result, a closed outer protective sheath surrounding the hose section or the endless hose of the inner sheath is provided, which has, for example, a glued longitudinal seam. Subsequently, each tube section or the endless tube with the protective wall enclosing the packaging wall can be folded together to form a flat tube, in the lateral areas of which gussets, for example, can also be inserted. After folding, in particular in the production of Einzelosäkken, at least one formed as a weld cohesive joint created between the protective cover and one end of the hose section. The production of the connection point can advantageously take place together with a bottom weld seam closing off the insides of the packaging wall in the bottom region of the packaging according to the invention. Of course, other joining methods, such as gluing, can be used for producing a cohesive connection. Under certain circumstances, it is necessary for the formation of a package to separate each predetermined sections of an endless tube in the region of a respective connection point.
