L'invention concerne un tampon à main autoencreur (1) comportant un boîtier de tampon (2) contenant une unité de tampon (6) portant des caractères de tampon (5), pourvue d'un mécanisme de rotation (7), ladite unité de tampon pouvant être déplacée au moyen d'un étrier d'actionnement (3) logé de façon coulissante sur le boîtier de tampon (2), d'une position d'encrage dans laquelle les caractères de tampon s'appuient sur un coussin encreur (13) disposé dans le tampon, vers une position d'impression. L'étrier d'actionnement (3) comporte un compartiment de réception (17) destiné à contenir au moins un autre coussin encreur (18).
