Claims (18)

  1. Timepiece (10) including a watch movement and a repeater striking mechanism (14) which is automatically released by the watch movement (12), wherein the striking mechanism (14) includes a release lever (24) fitted with a click (26) which is pivotably mounted on the release lever (24) and which meshes with the teeth (27) of a ratchet detent wheel (28) such that, during automatic release, a release cam (16) driven by the motion work (18) of the watch movement (12) causes the release lever (24) to pivot towards the detent wheel (28) and the click (26) drives the detent wheel (28) in rotation,
    characterized in that the striking mechanism (14) includes a winding cam (34) which cooperates with an associated shoulder (36) of the release lever (24) to control the winding of the release lever (24) against a spring (38), in that the release lever (24) is held in its wound position by a locking device (42), and in that the release cam (16) releases the striking mechanism by unlocking the locking device (42).
  2. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the winding cam (34) has the shape of a rotating snail of increasing radius, including a step (46) between the portion with the smallest radius and the portion with the largest radius.
  3. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that, in the wound position, the shoulder (36) of the release lever (24) abuts against the portion of the winding cam (34) with the largest radius and the locking device (42) locks the winding cam (34) in rotation.
  4. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the winding cam (34) is secured in rotation to a locking arm (60), and in that the locking device (42) includes a locking hook (62) which cooperates with the locking arm (60) to restrain the winding cam (34) in rotation.
  5. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the locking device (42) includes an uncoupling lever (78) which is wound, against a spring (80), by the release cam (16) and which causes the locking hook (62) to pivot towards the unlocked position when the uncoupling lever (78) is released by the release cam (16).
  6. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that there is provided a silence mechanism (94) operated to neutralise the automatic release of the striking mechanism, and in that the silence mechanism (94) includes a locking finger (98), which, in the silence position, limits the shake of the uncoupling lever (78) to prevent the latter from causing the locking hook (62) to pivot towards the unlocked position.
  7. Timepiece (10) according to any one of claims 2 to 6, characterized in that the winding arm (34) is secured in rotation to a rotating plate (48) that is driven in rotation by the strike train (21) when the striking mechanism is released.
  8. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the plate (48) is fitted with a retractable hooking device (50) which, in the retracted position, connects the plate (48) in rotation to an intermediate wheel (52), the intermediate wheel (52) being driven in rotation by the strike train (21), when the striking mechanism is released, in that the hooking device (50) is drawn to the hooked position by a spring (64), and in that the hooking device (50) is operated in the retracted position by the locking device (42).
  9. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the hooking device (50) is formed by a lever (54), which is pivotably mounted on the plate (48), in that the lever (54) includes, on the one hand, a drive hook (56), which is hooked onto a ratchet wheel (58) secured in rotation to the intermediate wheel (52) and, on the other hand, an arm that forms the locking arm (60) cooperating with the locking device (42).
  10. Timepiece (10) according to any one of claims 7 to 9, characterized in that the plate (48) is drawn in rotation in the direction of release by a plate spring (66), so as to initiate the rotational movement of the winding cam (34) when the striking mechanism is released.
  11. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the plate (48) has the shape of a snail defining a notch (74), and in that the plate spring (66) is formed by a resilient arm, which includes, at a free end (70), a roller (72) that abuts in the notch (74).
  12. Timepiece (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shoulder (36) of the release lever (24) is arranged at the free end of a winding arm (40) which extends from the main body (30) of the release lever (24).
  13. Timepiece (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the striking mechanism (14) includes a manual control member (22) which cooperates with the locking device (42) in order to release the striking mechanism manually.
  14. Timepiece (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the release lever (24) is fitted with a toggle lever (104), which carries the click (26), in that the toggle lever (104) is pivotably connected to the release lever (24) during automatic release, and in that manual release is caused by the pivoting of the toggle lever (104) relative to the release lever (24) via the action of a manual control member (22).
  15. Timepiece (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the pivoting axis (A8) of the toggle lever (104) is arranged at a free end (32) of the release lever (24), on the opposite side to the pivoting axis (A2) of the release lever (24).
  16. Timepiece (10) according to claim 14 or 15, characterized in that the toggle lever (104) extends the release lever (24) on the opposite side to the pivoting axis (A2) of the release lever (24).
  17. Timepiece (10) according to any one of claims 14 to 16, characterized in that the click (26) includes a detent finger (25) whose free end meshes with the teeth (27) of the detent wheel (28) and an activating arm (116), which cooperates with the manual control member (22) such that the manual control member (22) causes the toggle lever (104) to pivot towards the detent wheel (28) abutting against the activating arm (116).
  18. Timepiece (10) according to any one of claims 14 to 17, characterized in that the toggle lever (104) includes a stop member (112) which abuts against an associated axial surface (114) arranged in the release lever (24) in order to connect the toggle lever (104) when pivoting to the release lever (24).
