Definitions

  • the invention relates to a motor-driven epilation head for an epilation device, in particular for plucking hair of the human skin. Furthermore, the invention relates to an epilation device.
  • Epilators are used to remove hair as possible including its roots.
  • Known epilating devices are for example designed so that the hair is clamped by means of clamping devices and plucked by a movement of the clamping devices relative to the skin.
  • the clamping means are closed for detecting the hair in each case in a predetermined position, are moved with the pinched hairs to a further predetermined position in a closed state and then reopened to release the plucked hair.
  • the clamping elements can be arranged, for example, on a rotary cylinder, which is set in rotation by means of an electric motor.
  • the clamping devices can be closed and opened by means of actuating elements which are moved back and forth in the axial direction of the rotary cylinder and act on the clamping devices.
  • the axial movement of the actuating elements is derived from the rotational movement of the rotary cylinder.
  • a roller is arranged adjacent to the axial end faces of the rotary cylinder, on which the actuating elements are guided past by the rotational movement of the rotary cylinder and thereby axially deflected. Since the rollers are rotatably mounted, occurs during mechanical contact with the actuators hardly friction, so that the wear can be kept low. However, there is little freedom in the design of the axial movement of the actuating elements and thus with respect to the opening and closing of the clamping devices. In addition, the rollers require a relatively large amount of space.
  • epilation device is for example from the WO 98/05234 A1 known.
  • the epilation device disclosed therein also has adjacent to the two axial end faces of the rotary cylinder depending on a control disc with a circumferentially extending control cam, against which the actuating elements slidably. In the area of the rollers, the cams are interrupted. Alternatively, even in the circumferential direction closed cams can be used. In this case, the roles are eliminated.
  • an epilation apparatus which has a rotary cylinder with a plurality of clamping devices, each formed by two movable clamping elements.
  • the clamping elements have axial projections which each extend to an axial end of the rotary cylinder and are actuated there by a cam element.
  • the JP 2823316 B2 discloses an epilation apparatus comprising a rotary cylinder having clamping means each having a fixed and a movable clamping element.
  • the closing movement of the clamping devices is generated by rods acting on the movable clamping elements.
  • the rods are axially deflected by means of cam plates, which are arranged adjacent to the axial end faces of the rotary cylinder.
  • spring elements are arranged on the movable clamping elements.
  • the invention has for its object to provide the best possible control of the clamping devices of an epilator with the least possible effort.
  • the epilation head according to the invention for an epilating device, in particular for plucking hair of the human skin, is motor-driven and has a rotary cylinder which is rotatable about an axis of rotation.
  • the rotary cylinder has clamping devices for detecting and plucking the hair, actuators for actuating the clamping devices and at least one pressure element with a control surface on which the actuators start at least temporarily slidably.
  • the peculiarity of the epilation head according to the invention is that both the actuating elements and the pressure element are made of plastic.
  • the invention has the advantage that it offers a variety of possibilities for the control of the clamping devices of an epilation device, so that even complex control operations can be realized.
  • a multiple closing of each clamping device per revolution of the rotary cylinder is possible.
  • several actuators can be actuated simultaneously with the same force.
  • Another advantage is that the pressure element only requires very little space in the axial direction of the rotary cylinder. It is also particularly advantageous that a simple and cost-effective production is made possible by the use of plastic parts for the actuators and the pressure element.
  • the running noise of the epilation head can be influenced by the properties of the particular plastic used.
  • the control surface of the pressure element and / or the areas of the actuating elements which arrive at the control surface are supplied with a lubricant.
  • the lubricant is stored in a side part of the epilation head, in which the pressure element is arranged.
  • a solid lubricant is preferably used, so that a cleaning of the epilation head according to the invention with water and surfactants is possible.
  • control surface of the pressure element and / or the areas of the actuating elements which approach the control surface have a surface structure which facilitates the attachment of lubricant.
  • the control surface of the pressure element and / or the regions of the actuating elements which approach the control surface may have an open-pored surface. On such a surface of the lubricant adheres well, so that a lubricant film of sufficient thickness is easily formed.
  • the control surface of the pressure element and / or the areas of the actuating elements which approach the control surface may have a surface provided with at least one recess.
  • Lubricant is stored in the recess and is thus kept directly where it is needed.
  • the control surface of the pressure element may have a circumferential groove.
  • the pressure element and / or the actuating elements are at least partially made of a plastic, in which a lubricant is stored. If no additional lubricant is kept, this development is characterized by a high resistance to the action of detergent and produces virtually no lubricant-related contamination of the epilation head. If an additional lubricant is provided by the special Plastic significantly improves the emergency running properties at a loss of additional lubricant.
  • control surface of the pressure element can be formed in regions as a ramp.
  • the actuating elements are preferably formed so that their cross-section increases in each case to the region which starts at the control surface of the pressure element. This results in a larger contact surface and thus a reduced surface pressure. This facilitates the formation of a lubricating film and reduces wear.
  • the actuators are rod-shaped.
  • the clamping devices preferably each have a clamping element which is movable relative to the rotary cylinder and a clamping element which is fixedly arranged on the rotary cylinder. This simplifies the assembly compared to two movable clamping elements.
  • the movable clamping elements are preferably designed as individual components. This is advantageous, for example, with regard to the required installation space. Further advantages with regard to the assembly and the required space can be achieved in that a plurality of fixed clamping elements are integrally formed with each other.
  • the movable clamping elements are in particular made of metal, the fixed clamping elements in particular made of plastic.
  • To open the clamping devices spring elements may be provided. As a result, the opening mechanism can be relatively simple form and achieve a very fast opening of the clamping devices.
  • the invention further relates to an epilation device, in particular for plucking hair of the human skin, with a durable housing in the hand and an epilation head according to the invention.
  • Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of an inventively designed epilation device 1 in side view.
  • the epilating device 1 has a housing 2 and an epilation head 3 removably attached to the housing 2.
  • the housing 2 is shaped so that it can be comfortably held in the hand.
  • a switch 4 for switching on and off of the epilation device 1 is arranged on the housing 2.
  • a rotary cylinder 5 is rotatably suspended in the epilation head 3.
  • Fig. 2 shows the epilation unit 1 in the region of the epilation head 3 in a sectional view.
  • An exploded perspective view of the rotary cylinder 5 shows Fig. 3 ,
  • the rotary cylinder 5 is rotatably supported by a shaft 6 in the epilation head 3, so that a rotation axis 7 of the rotary cylinder 5 is determined by the shaft 6.
  • a gear 8 is rotatably connected to the rotary cylinder 5 depending.
  • One of the gears 8 engages in a drive pinion 9, which is driven by a non-figured gear shown by an electric motor, also not shown in the interior of the housing 2.
  • the rotary cylinder 5 is stacked in the axial direction of a plurality of components.
  • the rotary cylinder 5 has a plurality of carrier disks 10.
  • On each carrier disk 10 four movable clamping elements 11 are arranged.
  • each support disk 10 four fixed clamping elements 12 are provided which are distributed in the region of the outer radius of the support disk 10 evenly over the circumference and slightly offset axially from one another.
  • the fixed clamping elements 12 are made in one piece with the support plate 10 and preferably made of plastic.
  • Depending on a movable clamping element 11 and a fixed clamping element 12 are each axially adjacent to each other and together form a clamping device 13.
  • the movable clamping elements 11 are each formed as individual components and preferably made of metal.
  • the movable clamping elements 11 extend radially outward. Due to their relatively small extent in the radial direction, the movable Clamping elements 11 a relatively low mass and can thus easily be set in motion and stopped again.
  • each movable clamping element 11 is mounted in the vicinity of their inner radial ends so that they can be tilted relative to the axis of rotation 7 of the rotary cylinder 5 and thereby approximated to the respective adjacent fixed clamping element 12 and can be removed therefrom. In this way, the clamping devices 13 can be opened or closed.
  • each movable clamping element 11 has a perpendicular to the main surface of the movable clamping member 11 oriented pin 14 on which a designed as a coil spring spring element 15 is threaded.
  • the pin 14 is partially barrel-shaped in order to fix the spring element 15 on the pin 14.
  • the spring element 15 is supported on the one hand on the barrel-shaped region of the pin 14 and on the other hand on the bottom of a recess 16 of the carrier disk 10 from.
  • the pin 14 penetrates the movable clamping member 11 completely and appears on the back of the movable clamping member 11, d. H. on the side facing away from the spring element 15 side, in a recess 17 of the carrier disc 10 arranged there.
  • the spring elements 15 bias the movable clamping elements 11 so that they remove from their corresponding fixed clamping elements 12. Since these are separate spring elements 15, the bias of each individual movable clamping element 11 remains unchanged regardless of the state of the other movable clamping elements 11.
  • the carrier disks 10 Radially outside of the recesses 16 and the depressions 17, the carrier disks 10 on a plurality of axial through holes 18, which are each arranged on a common pitch circle and partially aligned with axially adjacent carrier disks 10 together.
  • rods 19 In the through holes 18 rods 19 are guided, which are made of plastic and partly have a different length.
  • each rod 19 ends at another movable clamping member 11 and each movable clamping member 11 is associated with a rod 19
  • the rods 19 each have a rod end 20, which is also made of plastic and is widened relative to the rod cross section.
  • the rods 19 are formed integrally with the respective associated rod heads 20.
  • the cross-sectional shape of the rod heads 20 is respectively formed so that circumferentially adjacent rod ends 20 are alternately extended radially inwardly and radially outwardly.
  • a respective side part 21 Adjacent to both axial end portions of the rotary cylinder 5, a respective side part 21 is arranged.
  • the side parts 21 do not rotate with the rotary cylinder 5 and each have on their the rotary cylinder 5 zugewanden side in the region of the pitch circle on which the through holes 18 are arranged, a pressure element 22 with a control surface 23.
  • the pressure elements 22 are made of plastic.
  • a respective groove 24 is formed in the side parts 21, in which a bow spring 25 engages. The bow spring 25 presses the two side parts 21 axially against the rotary cylinder. 5
  • Fig. 4 shows an arrangement of a side part 21 and some components of the rotary cylinder 5 in a perspective view.
  • Fig. 5 the arrangement is again in a different perspective than in Fig. 4 shown.
  • For the sake of clarity is in the 4 and 5 only one rod 19 shown.
  • a holder 26 for the bow spring 25 is arranged on the side facing away from the rotary cylinder 5 side of the side part 21. There, the bow spring 25 is pressed against the side part 21.
  • the pressure element 22 is shaped so that an elevation is formed by the control surface 23, which is introduced in the circumferential direction of the side part 21 by a slowly rising ramp and terminates over a slowly sloping ramp.
  • the pressure element 22 Radially in the middle of the control surface 23, the pressure element 22 has a circumferentially extending groove 27, which serves as a lubricant depot.
  • the clamping device 13, at the movable clamping element 11, the illustrated rod 19 abuts with its other end is almost completely closed.
  • the gear 8 of the rotary cylinder 5 is driven by the drive pinion 9 and thereby the rotary cylinder 5 is set in rotation.
  • the rods 19 slide with their heads 20 in turn on the control surface 23 of the pressure elements 22.
  • the bow spring 25 prevents the side parts 21 give the action of the rods 19 to a significant extent and avoid in the axial direction.
  • the rods 19 are respectively displaced in the direction toward the axial center of the rotary cylinder 5 by the contact with the control surface 23 of one of the pressure elements 22.
  • the closed state is achieved in each case with the clamping devices 13 when the rod end 20 of the associated rod 19 bears against the highest point of the control surface 23 of one of the pressure elements 22.
  • the respective clamping device 13 is arranged in a position facing away from the housing 2 of the epilation device 1 and is therefore located in the vicinity of the skin surface. If shortly before a hair between the movable clamping member 11 and the fixed clamping member 12 of this clamping device 13 is arranged, the hair is clamped when closing the clamping device 13.
  • the clamping device 13 is further moved by the rotational movement of the rotary cylinder 5, so that the pinched hair is plucked out of the skin.
  • the rotational movement of the rotary cylinder 5 also causes the respective rod head 20 continues its sliding movement on the control surface 23 of the pressure element 22 and thereby removed again from the highest point of the control surface 23.
  • the opening movements of the clamping devices 13 are thus determined as well as their closing movements by the shape of the control surfaces 23 of the pressure elements 22.
  • it is determined by the shape of the control surfaces 23 of the pressure elements 22, in which rotation angle ranges the clamping devices 13 are respectively open and closed and how much the movable clamping elements 11 are pressed against the fixed clamping elements 12 respectively.
  • the control surfaces 23 in such a way that by means of a control surface 23 a plurality of clamping devices 13 are kept closed at the same time, wherein the generated with the clamping devices 13 Clamping forces can be chosen the same size.
  • the control surfaces 23 may be formed so that the clamping devices 13 are each opened and closed several times per revolution of the rotary cylinder 5.
  • the clamping devices 13 In order to enable a reliable plucking of the hair from the skin, the clamping devices 13 must clamp the hair so tight that they do not slip out during the plucking process. For this it is necessary that the clamping elements 11 and 12 are each pressed with a sufficiently high pressure against each other. This in turn means that a sufficiently high force on the movable clamping elements 11 must act on the rods 19. Since the rods 19 slide with their rod heads 20 via the control surface 23 of the pressure elements 22 and are supported on this control surface 23, the contact areas between the rod heads 20 and the control surfaces 23 are heavily stressed. There are therefore provided within the scope of the invention measures that allow it despite this heavy stress, both the pressure elements 22 and the rods 19 including the rod ends 20 form as plastic parts.
  • the rod ends 20 have a larger cross-section than the rods 19 and thereby the surface pressure is reduced.
  • the contact areas between the rod heads 20 and the control surfaces 23 of the pressure elements 22 are supplied with a lubricant.
  • the friction between the rod heads 20 and the pressure elements 22 can be significantly reduced and thereby the material wear can be kept low.
  • a lubricating film is formed in the contact areas between the rod heads 20 and the control surfaces 23 of the pressure elements 22, which at least largely prevents direct contact of the rod heads 20 and the control surfaces 23 of the pressure elements 22, so that a particularly good wear behavior is achieved.
  • control surfaces 23 of the pressure elements 22 and / or the surfaces of the rod heads 20 starting therefrom open-pored, so that the lubricant can deposit there well.
  • a similar effect can also be achieved by means of recesses which are incorporated into the rod heads 20 and / or in the control surfaces 23 of the pressure elements 22.
