Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for transferring stitches on a flat knitting machine with at least two opposing needle beds with Um feelingadeln with a closable by a tongue or a slider needle hook, an adjoining needle shaft which expands to form a needle breast to the needle body, wherein they on their The upper side in front of the needle breast has a substantially triangular elevation, the tip of which forms an enclosing edge and which together with the needle face forms a mesh transfer area.
- Um Stens on flat knitting machines Um suctionadeln are usually used with a needle tongue and a transfer spring. However, the transfer with these needles is only safe if the loop to be attached to the needle breast of the transferring needle is applied until it comes to rest on the needle neck of the receiving needle. This is only guaranteed if the necessary detachment force can act on the stitch to be looped, in particular if the transferring needle is in the return movement.
- Knitting technically elaborate knits however, often have needle areas in which stitches are formed, and needle areas that do not participate in the stitching, but wear stitches.
- the last-mentioned needle areas reduce the pull-off effect on those stitches which are formed in their neighboring area. If stitches are to be hung on which only a small pull-off force acts, then these stitches often do not lie exactly on the breast of the transfer needle and can therefore not be enclosed by the hook of the take-over needle. These meshes then slide on the retraction movement of the transfer needle over the closed needle hook and form drop stitches, d. H. Error in the fabric.
- the present invention is based on the object to provide a method of transfer, which allow a safe transfer of stitches, on which a low withdrawal force acts.
- the object is achieved by a method having the features of claim 1.
- the high security of the method according to the invention can be achieved in particular by carrying out the withdrawal movements of the transferring and transferring needle simultaneously and / or alternately, such that the tip of the hook of the receiving needle extends from the closing edge until to reach the tip of the transferring needle, it always engages over the transferring needle, thereby trapping the loop to be transferred in the space between the hook of the receiving needle and the transferring needle.
- Fig. 1 Figure 12 shows two transfer needles 1 "and 1"'during the transfer of a stitch 5, the needle 1 "being the transferring needle and the needle 1""being the receiving needle.
- the appearance of the prior art needles will now be described using the example of the needle 1 ".
- the needle 1" has a needle hook 13 "which is closable by a tongue 15". This is followed by the needle shaft 12 ", which merges into a needle body 11" to form a needle breast 111 ".
- the needle shaft 12" has a substantially smooth upper side between the needle breast 111 "and the point of articulation of the tongue 15".
- the acquiring needle 1 "'with its hook 13"' through the legs of the mesh 5 has been driven through and now in its withdrawal movement in the direction of the arrow 103 '. Also, the needle 1 "is in retracting motion along arrow 102. The rear inside 121"'of the hook 13 "' of the receiving needle 1"'is in registration with the needle face 111 "of the transferring needle 1".
- Fig. 2 shows a transfer needle.
- the needle 1 has a needle hook 13, a needle tongue 15, a needle shaft 12 and a needle body 11.
- the transition between the needle shaft 12 and the needle body 11 forms the needle breast 111.
- a transfer spring 2 is provided in a bearing groove 112 in the needle body 11.
- the needle shaft 12 now has an approximately triangular elevation 129, the tip of which forms an enclosing edge 126.
- the containment edge 126 is spaced from the closed end of the hook 13 at a distance X and from the bottom of the needle at a distance H1. This is where the hook tip of the take-up needle is located when the back inside of the hook of the take-over needle is congruent with the needle face of the transfer needle.
- the needle cross section can also taper upwards.
- the elevation 129 includes a mesh transfer area 128 between itself and the needle face 111. In this area 128, a stitch is safe even if only a small pull-off force acts on it. This is ensured by a bevel 127 which extends from the containment edge 126 in the direction of the needle breast 111.
- the inclination W2 of this bevel 127 is selected such that a sufficiently large mesh transfer area 128 results and the stitch to be looped can easily slide over the slope 127 and the containment edge 126.
- the elevation 129 Towards the needle hook 13, the elevation 129 has a slope 125 with a slope W1. The slope W1 is determined by the different retraction speeds of the transferring and receiving needle.
- the Einsch spakante 126 and the transitions of the bevels 125, 127 to the needle shaft 12 and the mesh transfer area 128 are rounded.
- the needle shaft 12 can be provided on its underside, opposite the Einsch Strukturkante 126 with a recess not shown here.
- Fig. 3 shows a transfer needle 10, in which a triangular elevation 229 is not on the needle shaft 12 but on the transfer spring 2.
- the containment edge 226 is at the same position as the needle 1 in FIG Fig. 2 .
- the stitch transfer area 128, the angle W1 of the slope 225, the angle W2 of the slope 227 and the needle face 111 are also identical to the corresponding features of the needle 1.
- Fig. 4 shows a Um healthyadel 100, in which a triangular elevation 329 is located on a small plate 3, which is connected to the needle longitudinal side opposite to the Um vonfeder and whose thickness corresponds to the capstan.
- the location and the geometry of the elevation 329 and the mesh transfer area 128 are identical to those of the needle 1.
- Fig. 5 shows a further transfer needle 1000, wherein the contour of a survey 429 is formed of a preferably round spring wire steel.
- the elevation 429 is preferably located on the central axis of the shaft 2.
- the location and geometry of the elevation 429 and the mesh transfer area 128 are identical to those of the needle 1.
- the leg forming the slope 425 is fixedly connected to the needle shaft 12 and the slope 427 forming leg protrudes freely into an opening 113 in the needle body 11.
- the contour of the survey 429 in the region of the leg 425 is resilient.
- the rise height to the containment edge 426 may change as the needle 1000 makes its propulsion motion to cause the loop to be looped into the stitch transfer area 128.
- the 6 to 12 now describe the use of two needles according to Fig. 2 for transferring a stitch 5 according to a method of the invention.
- the initiation of the propulsion movement to the outermost position of the transferring needle 1 and the accepting needle 1 'and the retraction movements of both needles 1, 1' from the position at which the hook 13 'of the take-over needle 1' on the straight needle shaft 12 of the transfer needle 1 has coverage are identical to the prior art and therefore not shown.
- Fig. 6 the transferring needle 1 has been driven in the direction of the arrow 100 in the mesh transfer position, which corresponds to the furthest propulsion of the needle 1.
- the transferring needle 1 with the open needle tongue 15, the nose 21 of the transfer spring 2 and all areas of the needle shaft slipped through the loop 5, beginning with the needle neck 121, the bevel 122, the needle tongue 15, the horizontal shaft area 124 , the nose 21, the slope 125, the containment edge 126, the slope 127, until reaching the stitch transfer area 128 and the attachment to the needle face 111 through the stitch 5.
- the stitch 5 is normally at the needle breast 111 on.
- the mesh leg 51 lies above the cap spring 2.
- the accepting needle 1 ' has been driven in the direction of the arrow 101 to its foremost transfer position, in which the tip 133' of the hook 13 'is at a safe distance above the stitch 5.
- the hook 13 'and Regions of the needle shaft 12 'of the take-over needle 1' between the body 11 and the transfer spring 2 of the transfer needle 1 slid through.
- Fig. 7 shows the transferring needle 1 in the first phase of its retraction movement in the direction of the arrow 102.
- the accepting needle 1 ' is still in its foremost transfer position.
- Fig. 8 the transferring needle 1 is still in its retraction movement in the direction of the arrow 102.
- the accepting needle 1 has also begun its return movement in the direction of the arrow 103.
- Fig. 9 the transferring needle 1 and accepting needle 1 'are in return movement corresponding to the arrows 102 and 103 in the phase in which the rear inner side 121' of the hook 13 'of the receiving needle 1' is congruent with the breast 111 of the transferring needle 1.

- the tip 133' of the hook 13 'of the receiving needle 1' retains registration with the contour of the needle shaft 12 of the transferring needle 1, whereby the loop 5 is constantly enclosed in the hook 13 ' remains.
- the transferring needle 1 moves back in the direction of the arrow 102, while the acquiring needle 1' has interrupted their return movement, wherein the hook tip 133 'is in the region of the nose 21 of the transfer spring 2.
- the tip 133 'of the hook 13' of the receiving needle 1 ' has coverage with the last portion of the slope 125th
- Fig. 12 It is shown how the tip 133 'of the hook 13' of the receiving needle 1 'has overlap with the horizontal shaft portion 124 of the transferring needle 1. From this area, the transferring needle 1 and the receiving needle 1 'return movements along the arrows 102, 103 as long as analogous to the method of the prior art, until the mesh 5 has left the transferring needle 1 and they only in the hook 13th 'the receiving needle 1' is located.
- the transfer method of the present invention allows the loop to be wrapped to be more securely entrapped by the receiving needle than is possible with prior art needles and transfer methods. In essence, this is accomplished by having the transferring needle and the accepting needle come to a mutual position during their withdrawal movements, in which the needle breast of the transferring needle is congruent with the rearward inside of the needle hook of the receiving needle and the hook tip of the hook of the receiving needle with the Einsch Strukturkante the transferring needle has an overlap. By covering the hook tip of the accepting needle with the containment edge of the transferring needle, the loop is trapped in the hook space of the receiving needle. The hook of the receiving needle grips the mesh as much as possible and in a position in which the hook tip is located above the mesh.

Umhänge of stitches on flat knitting machines Umhängeadeln are usually used with a needle tongue and a transfer spring.
Knitting technically elaborate knits, however, often have needle areas in which stitches are formed, and needle areas that do not participate in the stitching, but wear stitches. The last-mentioned needle areas reduce the pull-off effect on those stitches which are formed in their neighboring area.
The present invention is based on the object to provide a method of transfer, which allow a safe transfer of stitches, on which a low withdrawal force acts. The object is achieved by a method having the features of
- Austreiben der übergebenden Nadel, bis die umzuhängende Masche sich im Maschenübergabebereich zwischen der Nadelbrust und der dreieckförmigen Erhebung des Nadelschafts befindet;
- Austreiben der übernehmenden Nadel, bis deren Haken durch die umzuhängende Masche hindurch getreten ist;
- Zurückziehen der übergebenden und der übernehmenden Nadel, derart, dass die rückwärtige Innenseite des Hakens der übernehmenden Nadel in Deckung mit der Nadelbrust der übergebenden Nadel kommt, wobei die Spitze des Nadelhakens der übernehmenden Nadel die Einschließkante der übergebenden Nadel überdeckt und die umzuhängende Masche damit im Maschenübergabebereich einschließt;
- Expelling the transferring needle until the loop to be looped is in the stitch transfer area between the needle face and the triangular elevation of the needle shaft;
- Drive out the accepting needle until its Hook has passed through the loop to be looped through;
- Retracting the transferring and receiving needles such that the rearward inside of the hook of the receiving needle is in register with the needle's breast of the transferring needle, the tip of the needle hook of the receiving needle covering the trapping edge of the transferring needle and the loop to be transferred therewithin in the stitch transfer area includes;
- further retracting the transferring and transferring needle, moving the loop to be transferred over the slope, over the containment edge, and beyond the closed tongue and needle hook of the transferring needle, the loop to be transferred always between the needle hook of the receiving needle and the shaft of the transferring needle The transferring needle remains trapped until the loop to be transferred has left the transferring needle and only hangs in the hook of the accepting needle.
In contrast to the method according to the prior art using conventional Umhängeadeln is ensured in the process according to the invention that the loop to be transferred due to the shape of the Umhängeadeln invention even with low withdrawal force in front of the needle breast and thus the needle hook of the receiving needle safely in the umzuhängende Mesh can stitch. Further, it is ensured that by including the stitch during the withdrawal movement of the receiving and transferring needle, the stitch can not slip out of the hook of the receiving needle again.
In addition to the special shaping of the transfer needle, the high security of the method according to the invention can be achieved in particular by carrying out the withdrawal movements of the transferring and transferring needle simultaneously and / or alternately, such that the tip of the hook of the receiving needle extends from the closing edge until to reach the tip of the transferring needle, it always engages over the transferring needle, thereby trapping the loop to be transferred in the space between the hook of the receiving needle and the transferring needle.
Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of a transfer method according to the invention compared to the prior art with reference to the drawings will be described in more detail.

The
The

The transfer method of the present invention allows the loop to be wrapped to be more securely entrapped by the receiving needle than is possible with prior art needles and transfer methods. In essence, this is accomplished by having the transferring needle and the accepting needle come to a mutual position during their withdrawal movements, in which the needle breast of the transferring needle is congruent with the rearward inside of the needle hook of the receiving needle and the hook tip of the hook of the receiving needle with the Einschließkante the transferring needle has an overlap. By covering the hook tip of the accepting needle with the containment edge of the transferring needle, the loop is trapped in the hook space of the receiving needle. The hook of the receiving needle grips the mesh as much as possible and in a position in which the hook tip is located above the mesh.
From this position, the hook tip of the receiving needle remains in register with the transferring needle throughout the rest of the transfer operation, thereby keeping the loop securely trapped.
