Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un produit logiciel permettant l'utilisation d'un agent sans fil pour des connexions courte distance dans un type de liaison ad hoc entre des terminaux sans fil (2) et une station de base (1) ou des stations de base, ou bien pour l'activation de l'exploitation de connexions courte distance sans fil. Une connexion Bluetooth sans fil ou une connexion ad hoc correspondante du type courte distance est établie entre une unité de distribution d'applications et un terminal sans fil. Ce procédé sert de procédé d'activation, d'identification et/ou d'authentification de l'utilisation d'une émission sans fil pour le transfert d'un logiciel ou d'autres informations de l'unité de distribution d'applications au terminal sans fil. L'unité de distribution identifie l'adresse du terminal sur la base de la connexion sans fil. L'agent installe automatiquement le logiciel sur le terminal (les terminaux) et le(les) configure, puis il organise la communication entre les terminaux (1) par l'intermédiaire d'une station ou de stations de base, permettant ainsi la transmission d'informations entre les terminaux. Ou bien l'unité de distribution, sur la base des contenus d'une carte de visite ou d'un moyen d'identification correspondant, détermine le type des informations désirées et, sur la base de ces données, les envoie au terminal sur la même voie de transmission que celle par l'intermédiaire de laquelle la carte de visite de demande ou le document équivalent ont été reçus.
