Abstract

Die Verzahnungen 10 und 11 sind derart aufeinander abgestimmt, daß das Verschiebeelement 12 bei gelöstem Klemmstück 18 ohne Kraftaufwand verschiebbar ist. Nachdem das Verschiebeelement 12 in die Verzahnung 10 eingerückt wurde, wird die Spannschraube 19 mit einem vorgegebenen Drehmoment angezogen. Dadurch werden die beiden Seitenwangen 2 und 3 nach innen gedrückt und das dazwischen befindliche Verschiebeelement 12 wird spielfrei verspannt. Damit ist auch der Verstellbackenkörper 16 form- und kraftschlüssig fixiert. Durch entsprechendes Festziehen der Spannschraube 25 kann dann der Spannbacken 24 bewegt und das Werkstück gespannt werden. Die gerade Anlagefläche 50 der ersten Verstellbacke 5 bildet gleichzeitig die feste Anschlagfläche für das nächste Werkstück, das durch eine zweite Verstellbacke 5 in entsprechender Weise gespannt werden kann.
