Definitions
- the invention relates to a suction device for liquids in particular at water needling machines, wherein the suction device is assigned outside more than a water beam for generating liquid jets, consisting of a suction tube with one or more over the working length of the tube arranged axially aligned suction for each water bar through which the liquid is sucked out of the associated water bar due to the negative pressure generated in the pipe.
- a device of this kind is by the EP-A-1 059 377 or the WO 01/79598 known.
- each water bar is associated with a suction slot, which may also consist of several suction in the suction tube.
- the suction tube is under negative pressure to dissipate the sprayed liquid.
- the negative pressure acts on all suction slots in the suction tube.
- the suction slot is under negative pressure, the assigned water bar is geschaftet. This leads to pressure losses that are to be avoided.
- the invention has for its object to develop a device with the energy losses are avoided in planned, but disconnected water bar.
- the solution of the stated tasks is to be seen in the fact that over the entire working width extending suction with respect to a respective associated water bar are formed closed.
- the locking mechanism can be executed in different ways.
- the suction device consists of a liquid-permeable, rotatably mounted drum 1, on which the material 2 to be needled rests.
- the drum 1 is assigned here above only a water bar 3, from which the water jets 4 emerge under high pressure and hit the Good 2. Accordingly, a plurality of water bars 3 may be arranged around the drum 1. The sprayed-on water must be sucked off immediately below the material 2.
- a suction tube 5 is centrally mounted within the drum 1, in whose wall along a surface line extraction holes 6 each water bar 3 are placed assigned. Right and left of these holes 6 are parallel to the surface line radially outside the tube 5 slide strips 7, 8 arranged to determine the width of the suction slot 9 stationary.

Abstract
Description
It is customary to assign a needling drum with internally arranged suction tube a plurality of water bars, each water bar is associated with a suction slot, which may also consist of several suction in the suction tube. The suction tube is under negative pressure to dissipate the sprayed liquid. The negative pressure acts on all suction slots in the suction tube. As a result, the suction slot is under negative pressure, the assigned water bar is geschaftet. This leads to pressure losses that are to be avoided.
The invention has for its object to develop a device with the energy losses are avoided in planned, but disconnected water bar.
Starting from the device of the type mentioned initially, the solution of the stated tasks is to be seen in the fact that over the entire working width extending suction with respect to a respective associated water bar are formed closed. The locking mechanism can be executed in different ways.
