Definitions

  • the invention relates to a container with bottom shell and cover shell and with means for locking the cover shell with the bottom shell.
  • Such a container is for example from the US 3,830,395 A known.
  • Such containers are used for storing and transporting small parts of any kind, especially of foods such as cream cheese, yogurt and the like, and in the latter of salad compositions that are provided with dressing or to which only the dressing must be added.
  • the invention is based on the technical problem to provide a container whose locking means on the one hand enable a firm locking between bottom shell and cover shell and on the other hand easy opening and which offers the possibility to hold the container overhead, without the lock triggers.
  • a container with bottom shell and cover shell and with means for locking the cover shell with the bottom shell in which the substantially circular opening edge of the bottom shell over at least two equipped with radial extent, respectively at least an undercut having first portions, wherein the cover shell has at its opening edge over at least two, with respect to the radial extent to the first portions corresponding second portions, and wherein the second portions each have at least one undercut corresponding to the undercut of the associated first portion such that upon rotation of the bottom shell relative to the cover shell, there is a locking in the area of the undercuts of the first and associated second sections.
  • the radial extent denotes horizontal edge regions, of the cover shell and / or bottom shell, which extend radially outwards or inwards.
  • the solution has the advantage that the container, even with larger forces perpendicular to the spanned by the opening edge Level remains tightly closed, and despite the high closure force easy unlocking is possible.
  • the closure has the advantage that in case of lighter, solid parts or liquids in the container when opening nothing gets outside. For example, if there is a salad with a salad sauce in the container, there is no danger of salad dressing spilling out when the container is opened, and the user will get their hands dirty.
  • the first sections are preferably formed by radial spreads of the edge of the bottom shell.
  • These radial broadening can be symmetrical or asymmetrical to a radial cutting line.
  • These first sections alternate in the circumferential direction with non-widened sections of the opening edge, so that when placing the cover shell, the corresponding second sections can be used there, which can then be brought by turning the bottom shell and cover shell with the first sections in engagement.
  • the circumferential lengths of the first and second sections are preferably the same size. But it is also possible, for. B. to choose the circumferential length of the first sections larger than the second Portions of the lid shell. In any case, the circumferential lengths of the non-widened portions of the opening edge of the bottom shell must be adjusted accordingly.
  • the opening edge has a sawtooth-like structure due to the asymmetrical sections in plan view.
  • the corresponding second sections of the cover part form an opposite sawtooth-like structure.
  • the undercuts of the first and second sections may in this case also correspond to each other, but be designed differently.
  • first and the corresponding second section has the shape of the letter Z in section.
  • This simple profile offers an undercut in the section directed downwards and towards the interior of the container.
  • the outwardly or inwardly extending regions ensure that the corresponding undercuts of the first and second sections do not move away from one another in the closure state, since otherwise the closure force would be reduced or lost.
  • first and the corresponding second section prefferably have a profile in the radial section which comprises three radial extension regions, between which at least one undercut and, if appropriate, an area aligned substantially perpendicular to the plane of the opening edges.
  • first and the second section have a thread-shaped undercut.
  • the inclination of the undercut of the first portion relative to the vertical namely, it increases so that the associated second portion is additionally clamped, which again increases the closing force.
  • the undercut area is twisted around a circumferential line up to the middle of the section along the circumferential direction. After crossing the middle of the inclination of the undercut decreases again to allow opening of the container. This locking is possible both via a left-hand rotation, as well as a clockwise rotation.
  • the first and the second section each have at least one thread.
  • the undercut is formed by the respective threaded cord.
  • first and the second section have mutually corresponding ramps, wherein the ramps may also be formed thread-shaped.
  • Each ramp has at least one ramp surface which is inclined in the circumferential direction.
  • the ramp surfaces of the bottom shell preferably extend downwardly from the opening edge.
  • the ramp surfaces of the cover shell are formed correspondingly, with the effect that when closing the container, the ramp surfaces slide on each other, causing the bottom shell and cover shell to move towards each other.
  • Two or more ramp surfaces may also be combined per first and second section.
  • the ramps offer the advantage that the axial extent of the undercut surfaces of the first and second sections is increased, which improves the locking.
  • the first and the second section each have a mark in the region of their greatest radial distance from the center of the respective opening edge. It suffices if at least one of the respective sections has a respective marking in order to indicate to the user of the container the optimum closing position with matching markings.
  • the marker may be, for example, a color marker, a character such as a triangle or an arrow.
  • the marking can also be selected in the form of a notch, a recess or otherwise designed, with the user in addition to the visual aid tactile means for detecting the optimal closure position is given.
  • the container can be equipped with turning aids.
  • the lid shell and / or the bottom shell has several indentations or bulges. These can be formed in the cover shell and / or bottom shell and be dimensioned such that a fingertip can be placed therein. This improves the grip of the fingers when turning and increases the ease of use.
  • a further embodiment can be chosen, in which the bottom shell and / or the cover shell is polygonal in its lower region, for example in shape a triangle or a rhombus.
  • the container has a grip aid, which prevents sliding of the fingers when using the container.
  • the bottom shell or the cover shell is provided in the closure area with a seal.
  • the seal is preferably formed in the edge region.
  • the seal can be arranged on the inside and is pressed in during assembly of the cover shell and bottom shell to the inside.
  • the seal can be formed according to a particular embodiment by edge regions of the cover shell and bottom shell, which lie against each other in the closed state. In order to ensure a dense juxtaposition of the edge regions, the combination with a thread-like configuration of the undercuts is preferred because when screwing the lid, the edge regions are pressed against each other. This creates a tension that ensures a tight seal.
  • the edge region of the cover shell bears against the inside of the bottom shell.
  • the sealing area is moved into the interior of the bottom shell, which has the advantage that liquid can not reach into the closure area, in particular the area of the undercuts.
  • this closure area is clean so that the user does not get their fingers dirty when grasping and transporting the bottom pan.
  • a clean closure area has the further advantage that the function of the closure elements is not impaired.
  • the lid shell has a Randeinzug, which extends into the interior of the bottom shell. This makes it possible in a simple manner to move the sealing area in the interior of the bottom shell.
  • Bottom shell and lid part are preferably made of plastic material and are produced in the deep drawing process. The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to FIGS.
  • Figure 1 shows a side plan view of a bottom shell 1 with a view into the interior of the bottom shell.
  • the circular opening edge 3 has a circular, horizontally outwardly directed portion 3a.
  • Above and on the plane defined by the portion 3a of the opening edge 3 is a substantially cylindrical elevation 15.
  • the elevation 15 has a total of four first sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6' '' with a radial extent, the radius of curvature substantially These widened sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6"' are configured symmetrically, and the sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6'” alternate with sections 6a which are not radially widened and extend over a certain peripheral area of the opening edge.

  • the circumferential length of the sections 6a is equal to or greater than the circumferential length of the sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6"'.
  • Each of the four first sections 6, 6 ', 6 “, 6'” shown in FIG. 1 has on the outer peripheral wall 15a an undercut or undercut 4, 4 ', 4 ", 4"' of which, because of the perspective of FIG The undercut 4 is formed by an inclination of the outer peripheral wall 15a of the sections 6, 6 ', 6 “, 6'” simplest geometry is given when the Undercuts each extend over the entire circumferential length of the sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6'".
  • At least one of the first sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6”' has a marking 12.
  • the bottom dish 1 shows four markings 12, 12 ', 12 ", 12"' in the form of a notch.
