Definitions
- the invention relates to a container with bottom shell and cover shell and with means for locking the cover shell with the bottom shell.
- Such a container is for example from the US 3,830,395 A known.
- Such containers are used for storing and transporting small parts of any kind, especially of foods such as cream cheese, yogurt and the like, and in the latter of salad compositions that are provided with dressing or to which only the dressing must be added.
- the invention is based on the technical problem to provide a container whose locking means on the one hand enable a firm locking between bottom shell and cover shell and on the other hand easy opening and which offers the possibility to hold the container overhead, without the lock triggers.
- a container with bottom shell and cover shell and with means for locking the cover shell with the bottom shell in which the substantially circular opening edge of the bottom shell over at least two equipped with radial extent, respectively at least an undercut having first portions, wherein the cover shell has at its opening edge over at least two, with respect to the radial extent to the first portions corresponding second portions, and wherein the second portions each have at least one undercut corresponding to the undercut of the associated first portion such that upon rotation of the bottom shell relative to the cover shell, there is a locking in the area of the undercuts of the first and associated second sections.
- the radial extent denotes horizontal edge regions, of the cover shell and / or bottom shell, which extend radially outwards or inwards.
- the solution has the advantage that the container, even with larger forces perpendicular to the spanned by the opening edge Level remains tightly closed, and despite the high closure force easy unlocking is possible.
- the closure has the advantage that in case of lighter, solid parts or liquids in the container when opening nothing gets outside. For example, if there is a salad with a salad sauce in the container, there is no danger of salad dressing spilling out when the container is opened, and the user will get their hands dirty.
- the first sections are preferably formed by radial spreads of the edge of the bottom shell.
- These radial broadening can be symmetrical or asymmetrical to a radial cutting line.
- These first sections alternate in the circumferential direction with non-widened sections of the opening edge, so that when placing the cover shell, the corresponding second sections can be used there, which can then be brought by turning the bottom shell and cover shell with the first sections in engagement.
- the circumferential lengths of the first and second sections are preferably the same size. But it is also possible, for. B. to choose the circumferential length of the first sections larger than the second Portions of the lid shell. In any case, the circumferential lengths of the non-widened portions of the opening edge of the bottom shell must be adjusted accordingly.
- the opening edge has a sawtooth-like structure due to the asymmetrical sections in plan view.
- the corresponding second sections of the cover part form an opposite sawtooth-like structure.
- the undercuts of the first and second sections may in this case also correspond to each other, but be designed differently.
- first and the corresponding second section has the shape of the letter Z in section.
- This simple profile offers an undercut in the section directed downwards and towards the interior of the container.
- the outwardly or inwardly extending regions ensure that the corresponding undercuts of the first and second sections do not move away from one another in the closure state, since otherwise the closure force would be reduced or lost.
- first and the corresponding second section prefferably have a profile in the radial section which comprises three radial extension regions, between which at least one undercut and, if appropriate, an area aligned substantially perpendicular to the plane of the opening edges.
- first and the second section have a thread-shaped undercut.
- the inclination of the undercut of the first portion relative to the vertical namely, it increases so that the associated second portion is additionally clamped, which again increases the closing force.
- the undercut area is twisted around a circumferential line up to the middle of the section along the circumferential direction. After crossing the middle of the inclination of the undercut decreases again to allow opening of the container. This locking is possible both via a left-hand rotation, as well as a clockwise rotation.
- the first and the second section each have at least one thread.
- the undercut is formed by the respective threaded cord.
- first and the second section have mutually corresponding ramps, wherein the ramps may also be formed thread-shaped.
- Each ramp has at least one ramp surface which is inclined in the circumferential direction.
- the ramp surfaces of the bottom shell preferably extend downwardly from the opening edge.
- the ramp surfaces of the cover shell are formed correspondingly, with the effect that when closing the container, the ramp surfaces slide on each other, causing the bottom shell and cover shell to move towards each other.
- Two or more ramp surfaces may also be combined per first and second section.
- the ramps offer the advantage that the axial extent of the undercut surfaces of the first and second sections is increased, which improves the locking.
- the first and the second section each have a mark in the region of their greatest radial distance from the center of the respective opening edge. It suffices if at least one of the respective sections has a respective marking in order to indicate to the user of the container the optimum closing position with matching markings.
- the marker may be, for example, a color marker, a character such as a triangle or an arrow.
- the marking can also be selected in the form of a notch, a recess or otherwise designed, with the user in addition to the visual aid tactile means for detecting the optimal closure position is given.
- the container can be equipped with turning aids.
- the lid shell and / or the bottom shell has several indentations or bulges. These can be formed in the cover shell and / or bottom shell and be dimensioned such that a fingertip can be placed therein. This improves the grip of the fingers when turning and increases the ease of use.
- a further embodiment can be chosen, in which the bottom shell and / or the cover shell is polygonal in its lower region, for example in shape a triangle or a rhombus.
- the container has a grip aid, which prevents sliding of the fingers when using the container.
- the bottom shell or the cover shell is provided in the closure area with a seal.
- the seal is preferably formed in the edge region.
- the seal can be arranged on the inside and is pressed in during assembly of the cover shell and bottom shell to the inside.
- the seal can be formed according to a particular embodiment by edge regions of the cover shell and bottom shell, which lie against each other in the closed state. In order to ensure a dense juxtaposition of the edge regions, the combination with a thread-like configuration of the undercuts is preferred because when screwing the lid, the edge regions are pressed against each other. This creates a tension that ensures a tight seal.
- the edge region of the cover shell bears against the inside of the bottom shell.
- the sealing area is moved into the interior of the bottom shell, which has the advantage that liquid can not reach into the closure area, in particular the area of the undercuts.
- this closure area is clean so that the user does not get their fingers dirty when grasping and transporting the bottom pan.
- a clean closure area has the further advantage that the function of the closure elements is not impaired.
- the lid shell has a Randeinzug, which extends into the interior of the bottom shell. This makes it possible in a simple manner to move the sealing area in the interior of the bottom shell.
- Bottom shell and lid part are preferably made of plastic material and are produced in the deep drawing process. The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to FIGS.
- Figure 1 shows a side plan view of a bottom shell 1 with a view into the interior of the bottom shell.
- the circular opening edge 3 has a circular, horizontally outwardly directed portion 3a.
- Above and on the plane defined by the portion 3a of the opening edge 3 is a substantially cylindrical elevation 15.
- the elevation 15 has a total of four first sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6' '' with a radial extent, the radius of curvature substantially These widened sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6"' are configured symmetrically, and the sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6'” alternate with sections 6a which are not radially widened and extend over a certain peripheral area of the opening edge.
- the opening edge 3 of the bottom shell 1 has no flat, radially oriented horizontal portion 3a, but at the wall 16 of the bottom shell 1 directly into the outer peripheral wall 15a of the increase 15th and the first sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6' '' passes over, for example via an Anformung of the sections 6, 6 ', 6", 6' '' from the outside to the container wall.
- the circumferential length of the sections 6a is equal to or greater than the circumferential length of the sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6"'.
- Each of the four first sections 6, 6 ', 6 “, 6'” shown in FIG. 1 has on the outer peripheral wall 15a an undercut or undercut 4, 4 ', 4 ", 4"' of which, because of the perspective of FIG The undercut 4 is formed by an inclination of the outer peripheral wall 15a of the sections 6, 6 ', 6 “, 6'” simplest geometry is given when the Undercuts each extend over the entire circumferential length of the sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6'".
- At least one of the first sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6”' has a marking 12.
- the bottom dish 1 shows four markings 12, 12 ', 12 ", 12"' in the form of a notch.
- the round notches 12, 12 ', 12 ", 12"' are located centrally in the inclined wall 15a, which forms the undercuts 4, 4 ', 4 ", 4"'.
- the bottom shell 1 has an arbitrary shape below the substantially circular opening edge 3.
- the wall 16 below the opening edge 3 is cylindrically symmetrical.
- a bulge 17 connects, which is polygonal.
- this bulge 17 is hexagonal, protrudes outward, is formed on the bottom shell 1, and is used when holding the bottom shell 1 from the rear side for better holding by hand when performing the rotational movement.
- the standing surface 18b adjoins the hexagonal area 18a and the surface 19 slightly raised relative to the standing surface 18b.
- Figure 2a shows a cover shell 2 from above in a lateral view. The view is directed to the outside of the lid shell 2.
- the lid shell 2 also has a substantially circular opening edge 3 ', which is flat and directed outwards.
- the cover shell 2 Corresponding to the first sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6''' of the bottom shell 1, the cover shell 2 has second sections 7, 7 ', 7', 7 '"'with slightly greater radial extent than the first sections 6, 6', 6", 6 '''of the bottom shell 1, extending in the circumferential direction alternate with the radially outwardly projecting portions 7a.
- the second sections 7, 7 ', 7 ", 7'" correspond to the first sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6"' and the sections 6a to the sections 7a.
- the circumferential length of the second sections 7, 7 ', 7 “, 7”' in this case correspond to the circumferential length of the first sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6"'.
- an annular Randeinzug 2 a which extends into the interior of the bottom shell 1.
- indentations 13 which point into the container interior. They allow a positioning of the operator's fingers in the indentations 13 and prevent slippage when closing or opening the container.
- Fig. 2b shows the lid shell 2 from above in a lateral plan view, this time the view is directed into the interior. It can be seen the second, inwardly projecting portions 7, 7 ', 7 ", 7"' of the ceiling shell 2 with associated undercuts 5, 5 ', 5 ", 5"', of which, due to the perspective, only two, namely 5 and 5 '', the second sections 7 and 7 "'are visible.
- the undercuts 5, 5 ', 5 ", 5"' of the cover shell 2 are formed in this illustration by a constant inclination of the inner peripheral wall 15b.
- the first and second sections 6, 6 ', 6 “, 6"' and 7, 7 ', 7 “, 7”' provide, in the form of the undercuts 4 and 5, cone-shaped surfaces which, when the bottom shell 1 rotates, are relative to the cover shell 2 lock via positive locking.
- the markings for example in the form of a colored marking or projections 12a, 12a ', 12a ", 12a"' as in FIG. 2b, indicate the optimum position for a firm closure.
- Fig. 2b also the seal 14 is located on the inner edge of the opening edge 3.
- FIG. 3 one recognizes a container with a cover shell 2 and a bottom shell 1, the closure region of which is bordered on the right by a circle. This marked area is shown enlarged in the figures 3a-d below in section.
- Figs. 3a-d of the edge feed 2a of the lid 2 can be seen, which is formed annularly.
- the curved lid wall 2b extends into the interior of the bottom shell 1 and merges into a rising edge portion 14b, which is adapted to the contour of the edge portion 14a of the bottom shell 1.
- the edge portions 14a, 14b pressed against each other, so that a seal 14 is formed. Liquid inside the container can thus not reach into the closure region of the undercuts 4, 5.
- the cover shell 2 can have a first section with a Z-shaped profiling on its outer region, and insofar has an undercut 5, which is formed by an inclined surface.
- the bottom shell 1 has corresponding thereto a second section with Z-shaped profile and also an associated undercut 4.
- the cover and base shell thus have two radial extensions or edge regions 8, 8 ".
- the pressing force exerted on the edge sections 14a, b when the cover and base shell are screwed together makes it possible to set up the region 8, which is exaggerated by the dashed line in FIG is drawn.
- the edge portion 14b is additionally pulled inwards and against the edge portion 14a.
- the connection between the cover 2 and bottom shell 1 is then via a positive connection.
- the first and the corresponding second section have a profile in the side view which comprises three radial extension regions 8, 8 ', 8 ", between which at least one undercut 4 or 5 and optionally a substantially vertical one extending region 9 is arranged, see Fig. 3b.
- the undercut surfaces shown in Fig. 3b are formed by vertical surfaces.
- the undercuts 4, 5 are generated by the recess 30, which is also present in FIG. 3b.
- first and the second section have mutually corresponding threaded cords 10, 10 '.
- the undercut surfaces 4 and 5 can each represent a substantially vertical surface, and even have no conical shape, see. Fig. 3d. This surface has threaded cords 10, 10 ', which in turn have an undercut.
- the first and second sections have ramps 11 and 11 'which correspond to one another.
- the ramp 11 of the cover shell 2 has a triangular side wall 22 with ramp surfaces 24 and 24 '.
- the bottom shell has a triangular shape Side wall 23 with ramp surfaces 25 and 25 'on.
- At the junction of the ramp surfaces 24 and 24 'or 25 and 25' there is a bulge 20 'or a recess corresponding thereto 20.
- the closure is effected.
- the engagement of the bulge 20 'in the recess 20 in this case represents an optional tactile aid to the ramp for determining the optimal closure position.
- a channel is defined (see Fig. 5), in which the associated ramp 11 of the cover shell 2 can retract.
- the undercut 4 of the bottom shell 1 is extended downwards, which improves the molding effect.
- the curvature 21 at the bottom of the channel represents the locking element of the container shell.
- FIG. 6 shows a bottom shell 1 with four first sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6"' which completely cover the opening edge 3 of the bottom shell 1 without spacing.
- Each first section 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6'” shows a steadily increasing radial extent to the outside. After reaching the maximum radial extent another first section 6, 6 ', 6 “, 6'” begins with initially small and then increasing radial extent. This results in the formation of corners 26, 26 ', 26 ", 26”' and in plan view to a sawtooth-like configuration.
- Each section 6, 6 ', 6 “, 6'” has an undercut 4, 4 ', 4 ", 4"' over the entire circumferential extent.
- FIG. 7 shows the cover shell 2 corresponding to FIG. 6 with corresponding second sections 7, 7 ', 7 ", 7"'. While in the first sections 6, 6 ', 6 “, 6'” as shown in FIG. 6, the radial extent increases in the clockwise direction, it increases in the cover shell 2 counterclockwise, see. Fig. 7. Also in the lid shell it comes to the formation of corners 27, 27 ', 27 ", 27"' and a corresponding sawtooth structure. When closing, this results in a form fit in the region of the first sections 6, 6 ', 6 ", 6' '' of the bottom shell 1, in the region of the largest radial extent.
- markings 12, 12 ', 12 ", 12”' in the form of notches or recesses and inwardly facing projections 12a, 12a ', 12a ", 12a”' are present.
- the lid shell has indentations 13.
