Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a tether for holding an object, in particular in the form of a pacifier or key band, provided with a band end clamping means for clamping the tape to a third object, in particular a garment, which clamping device is a substantially U-shaped clamping element with an intermediate two positions manually movable clamping part, wherein for clamping the two legs of the clamping member are bendable to each other during a movement of the clamping member from the first position to the second position against a restoring force, wherein the clamping part is designed as a swivel bracket, which is pivotally mounted on the first leg and completely overlaps the second leg.

By means of such straps, it is possible to clamp any object such as a key or a pacifier or the like largely captive on a third object such as a garment or in the case of a pacifier strap on a ceiling or the like. For this purpose, a tether on a strap end on a mounting option for the pacifier or the key, usually a hook or snap hook. At the other end is a clamping device by means of which the tether can be clamped on the third object. Such clamping devices usually have a U-shaped clamping element, which is widened in the front leg area and in particular flat when attached to an unstable, flexible object such as a garment or a blanket or the like. The two legs of the U-shaped clamping element can be bent towards each other, they automatically spring back into the starting position. For clamping is a clamping part that can be moved between two positions. In one end position, the legs are released, that is, they spring into their open starting position. With a movement in the second position due to the change in position of the clamping part, the two legs are increasingly bent towards each other, so that an intermediate befindliches garment or the like can be securely clamped by the free leg ends.

In known retaining straps, the clamping part consists of a cross-sectionally preferably quadrangular sliding sleeve which externally engages over both legs and can be moved in the context of a longitudinal sliding movement between the two positions. The disadvantage here is that two fingers are required for a movement of this clamping sleeve, the upper and underside or attack on the two opposite sides to move the clamping sleeve. This is very cumbersome and often situational not reasonably possible, so that usually the second hand must be taken to help to hold the clamping element and to move the clamping part with the other hand. A simple one-hand operation is not possible with such clamping devices. However, such a rule would be desirable because often the second hand is not free depending on the situation.

The invention is therefore based on the problem to provide a tether that allows a simple one-hand operation of the clamping device for opening and closing the same.

To solve this problem is provided according to the invention in a tether of the type mentioned that the pivot bracket is formed substantially closed annular, wherein the second leg at least in one Part of the movement path of the swivel bracket from the first to the second position arcuate or ramp-shaped, and wherein on the upper side of the second leg locking portions are provided, into which a corresponding latching portion on the swivel bracket for fixing position can be latched.
