Claims (2)

  1. Ascenseur dans lequel une machine d'entraînement (21) pour monter et abaisser une cabine (5) est disposée au niveau d'une partie supérieure d'une cage d'ascenseur (1) et une partie de la machine d'entraînement (21) est disposée dans une zone où la cabine (5) est projetée dans sa direction de montée et de descente, l'ascenseur comprenant en outre un dispositif de sécurité pour travailler en haut de la cabine (5),
    caractérisé par le dispositif de sécurité comprenant :
    un dispositif de projection de lumière (51) prévu sur une paroi latérale de la cage d'ascenseur (1) pour projeter horizontalement une pluralité de faisceaux lumineux (53) en-dessous de la machine d'entraînement (21) ;
    un dispositif de réception de lumière (52) prévu sur une paroi latérale de la cage d'ascenseur (1) de manière opposée audit dispositif de projection de lumière (51) pour recevoir les faisceaux lumineux (53) projetés à partir dudit dispositif de projection de lumière (51) ; et
    un circuit d'arrêt (40) pour arrêter la montée de la cabine (5) lorsqu'au moins l'un des faisceaux lumineux (53) est intercepté.
  2. Procédé permettant de fournir un dispositif de sécurité pour travailler en haut d'une cabine d'ascenseur, le dispositif de sécurité étant utilisé dans un ascenseur dans lequel une machine d'entraînement (21) pour monter et abaisser une cabine (5) est disposée au niveau d'une partie supérieure d'une cage d'ascenseur (1) et une partie de la machine d'entraînement (21) est disposée dans une zone où la cabine (5) est projetée dans sa direction de montée et de descente,
    le dispositif de sécurité comprenant un dispositif de projection de lumière (51) et un dispositif de réception de lumière (52),
    le procédé comprenant les étapes qui consistent à prévoir le dispositif de projection de lumière (51) sur une paroi latérale de la cage d'ascenseur (1) pour projeter l'horizontalement une pluralité de faisceaux lumineux (53) en-dessous de la machine d'entraînement (21) ; et
    à prévoir le dispositif de réception de lumière (52) sur une paroi latérale de la cage d'ascenseur (1) de manière opposée audit dispositif de projection de lumière (51) pour recevoir les faisceaux lumineux (53) projetés à partir dudit dispositif de projection de lumière (51) ;
    où le dispositif de sécurité comprend en outre un circuit d'arrêt (40) pour arrêter la montée de la cabine (5) lorsqu'au moins l'un des faisceaux lumineux (53) est intercepté.
