Abstract

L'invention concerne un burin plat (2), notamment un burin à queue destiné à des marteaux perforateurs ou burineurs à moteur pour le travail de la roche. Le burin plat selon l'invention comporte une tête de burin (3) composée d'un tranchant principal (7) s'étendant perpendiculairement à un axe longitudinal de burin (x), de surfaces de frappe avant et arrière (10, 11), et d'au moins une surface latérale (12, 13) reliant les surfaces de frappe (10, 11). Selon l'invention, une des surfaces latérales (12, 13) est conçue en tant que tranchant latéral (14, 15).
