Definitions
- the present invention relates to an article with an affixed folding card according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- the article may in particular be a sheet-shaped carrier, e.g. made of paper, plastic or a paper-plastic laminate in endless or curved form.
- a sheet-shaped carrier e.g. made of paper, plastic or a paper-plastic laminate in endless or curved form.
- Such carriers are generally referred to as forms below. They are usually additionally printed or provided for receiving a print or a label and designed.
- the article can also be a packaging, e.g. made of cardboard, a can or a bottle made of glass or a plastic material. Other applications are conceivable.
- the invention further relates to a method for producing an article with glued, detachable folding card and a Mehr fürrnaterial usable for the production of such an article.
- an adhesive usually used is one such as is also used in Seltistklebe labels, envelopes or the like.
- Such adhesives are referred to as self or adhesive and are in Optimized for its intended use to a high and permanent adhesion. You do not want to replace labels or open letters yourself. In most cases, the release of the adhesive bond is only possible by destroying at least one of the materials bonded together.
- the separating layer referred to below as a silkon layer for the sake of simplicity may on the one hand be applied by wet application of a silicone material.
- the adhesive layer assigned to the folding card As far as the adhesive layer assigned to the folding card is concerned, it is known on the one hand to apply it likewise by wet coating on the silicone field. The folding card is then applied to the precoated adhesive field in a subsequent step. On the other hand, it is known to apply with an adhesive already coated folding cards in one operation on the silicone field.
- the above-described working steps are usually carried out with a formula material present in roll form in an endless process, wherein the dry application of the mentioned laminates takes place in particular by so-called dispensing with a dispensing unit onto the running web of the form material.
- the invention has the object to provide an object of the type mentioned, which has extended usage options.
- the invention is also intended to indicate suitable methods of preparation.
- the separation value of the surface of the article in the said area in which the folding card is glued approximately equal to the separation value of the surface of the article selected in another, not covered by the folding card area and the adhesive with respect to this surface separation waiver is set destructively detachable.
- the adhesive is not optimized for the highest possible adhesive force, and the release value of the article surface, which comes into contact with the adhesive, is reduced locally. Rather, the release value of the article surface, for example, without further action simply left as it is due to the material properties of the article and thus in another Oer schizophrenia Scheme, and instead set the adhesive force of the adhesive relative to this separation value correspondingly low or low.
- the folding card can be applied to the object already pre-coated with the relatively weak adhesive in one operation. This also eliminates the problems explained with regard to the registration and the adhesive can be coated on the folding card to its outer edge.
- the adhesive is adjusted in such a way that it non-permanently adheres to itself and the folded and glued together parts of the folding card can thus be separated from each other again in a non-destructive way and preferably even glued together again with the same adhesive.
- This makes it possible to distinguish between the parts of the folding card e.g. to glue in an information carrier, an image or the like, which is subsequently still accessible. An information located on it could initially be hidden in the folding card and made visible only by unfolding the folding card.
- the invention proposes to carry out the application of the precoated folding cards, in particular in the case of forms, rationally in an endless process by means of dispensing, wherein a common label dispenser can be used, to which the folding cards e.g. lined up on an endless separator web of silicone or label paper to be supplied.
- the endless separating material web with the folding cards and the only weakly adhering adhesive can in this case be completely prefabricated in particular by a specialized manufacturer as a laminate or multilayer material and supplied to the actual manufacturer of the forms, usually a so-called form printer, for further processing. It is also possible by suitable punching of the laminate to give the folding cards any shape.
- the resulting stamped grid can be deducted either directly after punching or only when the folding cards are dispensed. All these techniques are known from the Ettiketiertechnik for themselves and therefore need not be described here in detail.
- the aforementioned prefabricated multi-layer material is also the subject of the present invention.
- the entire free surface of the object should in particular be understood to mean, at least insofar as it consists of the same material.
- a supporting or at least supporting substrate forms the relevant surface, or whether it is provided with a non-load-bearing coating, such as an imprint, a varnish or the like.
- the adhesive used must adhere to the article so firmly that the folding card does not prematurely detach when the article is used.
- the connection or adhesion of the adhesive to the folding card must be stronger than to the article, so that the adhesive when removing the Folding card ever goes with this. It is therefore a differentiated adhesion of the adhesive to the folding card on the one hand and the subject on the other hand required.
- the adhesive adheres to the article with a first adhesive force and against itself with a second, higher adhesive force
- the surface area of the article in contact with the adhesive is at least partially writable and / or printable prior to application and / or after detachment of the folding card. In the prior art, this is practically impossible, at least after the detachment of the folding card by the thereby exposed silicone layer, because the silicone material assumes virtually no ink, ink or toner.
- the folding card is advantageously adhered directly to a load-bearing layer of the article, wherein this layer may be in forms, in particular a paper or a film layer.
- a form according to the invention consists simply of a paper layer onto which the folding card is glued directly.
- the folding card itself preferably consists of a single- or multi-ply paper and / or plastic material and / or a laminate of paper and plastic material. More preferably, this material is writable and / or printable and optionally provided on a surface with a writable and / or printable layer.
- the material for the folding card can be opaque, partly or completely transparent.
- the folding card is glued substantially over the entire surface with the object, wherein at least in a limited edge area, in particular only on one side, a non-adhesive zone may be provided to facilitate their replacement.
- the folding card is provided with a punching, in particular a perforation, or another material weakening, which serves as a folding aid. This can advantageously already be applied prior to the dispensing of the folding cards, for example in the mentioned laminate, in particular even in the same operation with the free punching of the folding cards in this laminate.
- an information carrier between the parts of the folding card can thereby be virtually automated in another form of the invention in connection with forms by running in the form material in the area covered by the folding map, for example by a running from the back, preferably web-free and preferably fully rotating Punching a diecut is punched out after the folding card has been placed on the front of the form.
- this diecut goes with the folding card and comes to lie when folding and gluing the map parts between them.
- This is particularly useful when the form pre-printed in the folding card and the folding card, for example. consists of a transparent film material, because then the print job on the stamped by the material of the Falt drive visible and enclosed by this material in particular on all sides and sealed. By removing the blank from the form, it does not bear in the form and does not lead to an additional thickening of the same.
- a flat substrate is glued to the article in the region covered by the folding card below the folding card.
- the adhesion of the substrate to the object must be set to be weaker than the adhesive force that develops the folding card by means of its adhesive to the substrate.
- the substrate is simply, in continuous processing possibly even in the same run, before the folded card on the object donated in this way, it is in particular possible to bring a special substrate such as an electronically contactless detectable circuit in the folding map when their replacement again almost automatically ,
- the folding card is provided with a folding aid, which is arranged so that after folding the parts of the folding card along this folding aid one of the two parts with an area coated with the adhesive over the other part, the folding card with this area is at one glued on to any other position.
- the folding card thus formed may e.g. be used as a coupon or tab in a registry or the like.
- the folding card is formed by appropriate shaping so that it can be produced from it after detachment a clipable to a closed loop trailer especially for luggage
- the folding card is formed so that it can be used as a key ring after detachment
- FIG. 1 only partially illustrated form 10 carries on its top or front 11 a folding card 20 which is adhered by means of a moderately weak-adhesive adhesive 30 on this page vollfambaig.
- the folding card has two parts 21, 22, which are intended to be glued together after detachment and folding of the folding card 20. Between the two parts 21 and 22 a Perforationsline is punched as a folding aid.
- the area around the folding map 20 that is not covered by the folding map is in Fig. 1 a) denoted by 15.
- Fig. 1 b the structure of the form is shown in section, wherein it can be seen that the folding card 20 with the adhesive 30 directly, ie without here, as in the folding map 20 surrounding area 15, more layers are present, glued to the surface of the form is.
- Fig. 1 c shows the folded map 20 detached from the form 10 still in a straight shape
- Fig. 1 d the folding card already in a kinked along the folding aid 23 and shape Fig. 1 e) in fully folded form, in which both halves 21 and 22 are glued together over their entire surface.
- the region initially covered by the folding card could have already been provided with information prior to gluing the folding card, which (in the case of a non-transparent folding card) becomes visible only after it has been detached. It may be advantageous here e.g. to be a confidential code or simply a return address.
- the replacement of the folding card 20 of the form 10 is possible because the adhesive 30 is set relative to the surface 11 of the form 10 relatively weak adhesion on the other hand, it is fixed on the folding card 20, but at least firmly anchored, for example a factor 1.5-3. There is thus a two-sided differentiated adhesion or adhesion.
- the adhesive 30 preferably unfolds to itself a comparatively high adhesive force, which is greater than the adhesive force with which it adheres to the form 10 or its surface 11.
- an adhesive 30 which according to the so-called Finat method no. 1 an adhesive force between 1 -15 N, preferably between 2 - 5 N, each based on a strip width of 50 mm, developed.
- the Finat Method No. 1 is e.g. described in "Technical Manual for Suppliers and Processors", (1991), FINAT, Laan Copes van Cattenburch 79, NL-2585 EW The Hague.
- a paper material having a thickness in the range of 80 g / m 2 to 200 g / m 2 may be used.
- the form and / or the folding card can be printed on one or both sides.
- the folding card 20 is adhered to any other article 100 as a form. It itself is constructed here from a laminate with a paper layer 24 and a film layer 25, wherein on the film layer, a coating 26 is applied, which allows printing or writing the film layer 25 allows. A corresponding imprint is designated 41. Furthermore, at 31 a narrow edge zone below the fold card portion 21 is kept free of the adhesive 30, whereby here the folding card 20 can be easily detached from the surface of the article 100.
- Fig. 3 shows a folding card 20, in which a perforation 23 was mounted as Falzhife with respect to their two parts 21 and 22 so asymmetrically that after the folding of the two parts, the part 22 projects beyond the part 21 and exposed in the protruding portion of the adhesive 30.
- the folding card 20 can be used, for example, as a coupon and glued anywhere, for example for purposes of labeling. As a rider in a registry, she would also be usable.
- a substrate piece 50 is inserted, which is smaller in area than the two parts 21 and 22. These are therefore in direct contact around the substrate piece 50 and hermetically enclose the piece of substrate between them in a kind of pocket.
- the substrate piece may be a printed piece of paper or even a photograph or the like, the material of the folding card being usefully transparent.
- the card material could also not be transparent, so that the substrate piece 50 as well as on this information present from the outside is not visible.
- the adhesive 30 holds the two parts 21 and 22 only so firmly that they can be released from each other if necessary to allow accessibility to the substrate piece 50, and preferably even several times in succession.
- the cohesion of the parts 21 and 22 and possibly also of the substrate piece 50 is greater than the adhesive force of the adhesive 30 against itself, for example by a factor between 1.5 and 3.
- Fig. 5 shows in a representation according to Fig. 1 an embodiment in which by a preferably full-circumferential and also preferably web-free, from the form back 12 forth in the form 10 in the region of the card portion 21 punching 60 punched a punching 13 is punched free.
- a punching 60 in the region of both cards 21 and 22, for example, is performed with mirror symmetry, a two-ply punched product results between the two card parts with the advantages already mentioned during the refolding of the card parts.
- Fig. 6 shows again in the same representation the case in which prior to the application of the folding card 20 on the form 10 in the region of the card part 21, a piece of substrate 70 has been glued with an adhesive 32 on the form, which in turn goes with the detachment of the folding card 20 with this and when folding and gluing the two folding card parts 21 and 22 is enclosed between them.
- the adhesive 30 must adhere more strongly to the top 71 of the substrate piece 70 than the adhesive 32 to the surface 11 of the form. This can be achieved by a suitable adjustment of the two adhesives 30 and 32, very simple but also by a merely partial application of the adhesive 32. This differentiated adhesion is also facilitated by the fact that the adhesive bond with the adhesive 32 only has to hold until the Folded card is glued on.
- Fig. 6 exists, as already at the of Fig. 4 , practically freedom of choice with regard to the type of substrate piece 70 used, so that in this case also highly finished parts such as equipped with intelligence (chip), electronically and / or magnetically detectable circuits such as so-called transponder or the like can be introduced into the folding card 20.
- highly finished parts such as equipped with intelligence (chip), electronically and / or magnetically detectable circuits such as so-called transponder or the like can be introduced into the folding card 20.
- Fig. 7 a is a specially shaped folding card 80 on a form 10 in plan represents, which symmetrically to a folding aid line 81 has two approximately T-shaped notches 82 and 83, two lateral cuts 84 and 85 and between these on the folding aid line 81 has a further cut 86. The free ends of the cuts each run in a three-quarter circle.
- Fig. 7b shows the folding map 80 turn in supervision after their replacement, wherein the Einklappteil 87 - adhesive side against adhesive side - but is folded to the left on the rest of the surface of the folding card.
- FIG. 7c shows the folding card 80 then in the folded state, the two incisions 82 and 83 and the incisions 84 and 85 have come to mutual overlap and the latter together with the half-cut incision 86 form two opposite lateral incisions. Furthermore, when folding the Einklappteil between the two Falt Actuallyhbuln to lie, so that the reading of an imprint or a label on the Einklappteil, if the Falt Actuallymaterial is not transparent, the two halved card halves must be separated from each other again.
- the so-formed folding card 80 can be, as this Fig.
- the folding card 80 can be used, for example, as a trailer for luggage or the like.
- the rounded ends of the sipes prevent them from tearing when mated or when a tensile load is applied to the trailer.
- the application of the pre-coated folding cards can be carried out in a continuous process by means of dispensing, in particular in the case of forms, wherein a common label dispenser can be used, to which the folding cards are fed, for example, lined up on an endless separating material web of silicone or label paper.
- the endless separating material web with the folding cards and the only weakly adhering adhesive can be completely prefabricated as a laminate. It is also possible by suitable punching of the laminate to give the folding cards any shape. This here Resulting punched grid can either be deducted directly after punching or only when the folding cards are being dispensed.
- Fig. 7 By suitable punching can also be connected with Fig. 7 produce mentioned openings and indentation.
- Fig. 8 shows under a) - c) still variants of folding card 20 with printable and / or inscribable Einklappteil 27 similar to the Einklappteil 87 of Fig. 7 ,
- Fig. 8 a) the Einklappteil 27 adjacent to the Falt Actuallyteil 21 and is first folded after detachment of the folding card in a first cut against this part and glued to this.
- the two folding card parts 21 and 22 are folded and glued together.
- the Einklappteil 27 is in Fig. 8 a) in terms of area slightly smaller than the two card parts 21 and 22, so that they enclose the Einklappteil 27 in the finished glued together folding card on three sides and are glued together directly along three edge strips.
- the Einklappteil 27 could, for example, but also the same width as the two card parts 21 and 22 have, as this Fig. 8b) shows or even approximate in terms of area with these.
- the embodiment of Fig. 8 c ) corresponds to that of Fig. 7 , wherein a double position of the two Einklappmaschine 27 a and 27 b results between the Falt Actually negligence 21 and 2. So that here the two folding map parts 21 and 22 can be glued together, they must project beyond the folding parts 27a and 27b at least on one side.
- Fig. 9 shows yet another folding card 90, which can be used with advantage as a keychain.
- Fig. 9 a is the folding card 90 on a form 10 in plan represents. Symmetrical to a first folding aid line 93, it has two folding card parts 91 and 92. The two Falt Actuallymaschine 91 and 92 are by a second, the first vertical folding aid line 94 each again in a main part 95 and a smaller area Folding part 96 divided. In the two parts of the main part 95, notches 97 and 98 are mounted symmetrically to the first folding aid line 93. These are, like the cuts 82 - 86 of Fig.
- Fig. 9b shows the folding map 90 turn in supervision after their replacement, but their two parts 91 and 92 are already folded and glued to each other over the entire surface. In this form, the folding card 90 is no longer sticky on the outside.
- the incisions 97 on the one hand and 98 on the other hand also come to mutual overlap, so that the same shape as well as continuous incisions resulting in Fig. 9b ) are again denoted by 97 and 98, respectively.
- the incision 97 can be used, for example, as a tear-resistant eyelet for a key ring, as this Fig. 9c) shows.
- the folding part 96 can be folded along the second folding aid line 94 against the main part 95 and, as also shown in FIG Fig. 9c ) is simply fixed by means of the incision 98 by a kind of looping in this position.
- An inscription which may be present on the folding part 96 or on the main part 95 under the hinged part 96 is then covered and not readily readable.
- the two folding aid lines 93 and 94 may be listed as perforation lines. Since the second fold along the second folding aid line 94 comprises two layers, it is advisable to use an adapted section-to-web ratio in relation to the first folding auxiliary line 93.
- a tear-resistant hinge punching 99 could be applied along the second fold line, which is formed by straight, longer cuts with curved ends. This kind of the Schamierstanzung, which in Fig. 9d ) has the advantage of low bending resistance and withstands high bending numbers.
- the folding card is smaller in area than the object or a specific surface thereof.
- the area of the article not covered by the folding card will comprise a not insubstantial part of the surface of the object with independent use, eg for printing and / or handling the article, in particular if eg a form starting from a standard DIN A4 format.
- Typical dimensions of the detached and folded card are eg 5 cm by 10 cm.
- folding cards with two parts to be glued together have been described throughout, apart from the folding parts.
- the invention is not limited to such two-part folding cards, but also includes folding cards with three or more parts to be bonded together.
