Definitions
- Milling device for soil, rock, excavation or other material
- the invention relates to: a milling device with the features of the preamble of patent claim 1.
- Appropriate digging devices for example excavators, are known for excavating soil. However, these are not readily able to break through solid cover layers, for example 3-tone or asphalt, to pick up rock that is standing in the depth, or to mix the excavated material. Combined digging, mixing and milling devices have therefore been developed. Such is known for example from DE 199 07 430 AI. This device has an excavator bucket
- the milling machine is housed in a milling space and protrudes from it.
- a passage for example in the form of a sieve, is formed between the milling space and the receiving space of the excavator bucket. This means that the granulate that accumulates during the milling process can be collected in the excavator bucket, so that efficient, versatile work is possible.
- the excavator shovel can be used like a conventional excavator shovel and can also be used as a rock cutter.
- a mobile milling loader which is formed by a rock mill, in the vicinity of which a pivotable shovel is arranged.
- the swiveling shovel is used to hold the material that has been loosened from the rock and thrown away.
- blade separators are also known which are able to take up a loose material mixture and to separate this into a coarse fraction and a remote fraction.
- a blade separator has a blade, the bottom of which is formed by a grate provided with a plurality of rollers.
- the rollers carry disc elements and rotate in the same or opposite directions. They cause the fine material that can fall through between the rollers to be rejected, while coarse material remains in the blade.
- the milling device has a blade with a receiving space and a milling space in which a milling rotor is arranged.
- the milling device is therefore suitable for normal digging as well as for milling solid material.
- a first beater bar is arranged adjacent to the milling rotor and the chisels of the milling rotor run past it. This blow bar is arranged in such a way that material detached from the milling rotor passes the blow bar through the passage opening between the milling space and the receiving space into the receiving space.
- the milling device is provided with a further blow bar, which is arranged at a distance from the first blow bar in the direction of rotation.
- This measure creates the essential additional possibility of crushing material picked up by the blade with the milling rotor.
- the milling device thus permits a first operating mode in which the milling rotor requests material through the passage opening into the receiving space and a second operating mode in which the milling rotor mills material in the recording room out of the recording room.
- Excavation that contains coarse constituents such as stones, boulders or the like can thus be worked through. Coarse components are crushed.
- rubble, asphalt or similar material accumulated on a construction site can be shredded.
- the first blow bar is preferably arranged in front of the passage opening with respect to the direction of rotation of the milling rotor. It is therefore effective in the operating mode in which the material is conveyed through the milling rotor into the receiving space of the bucket.
- the first blow bar is preferably arranged on the outside, preferably on an underside of the blade. It can serve as a hold-down device, for example when milling concrete or asphalt shafts. The milling device then loads on the concrete or asphalt surface by means of the blow bar, while the milling rotor mills off the held down material.
- the second blow bar is preferably arranged behind the passage opening with respect to the direction of rotation of the milling rotor.
- the blow bar is particularly effective in the operating mode in which material that reaches the milling rotor from the receiving space through the passage opening is shredded by the milling rotor.
- the blow bar can, for example, be arranged in the milling space.
- the blow bars can be straight and have a straight edge on their side facing the milling rotor.
- the edge can be shaped so that it follows the cutter contour in order to achieve a uniform cutting gap.
- the first and / or the second blow bar can be adjustable.
- the milling rotor can be adjustably mounted in a radial direction with respect to the milling rotor in order to be able to adjust the grain size of the milling material produced.
- the first impact bar in the circumferential direction of the milling rotor, if the impact bar is arranged outside the milling space, the milling depth can be adjusted become.
- An adjustment of the second blow bar in the circumferential direction of the milling rotor can serve to adapt the position of the milling bar to different through openings.
- the through openings can be made adjustable, for example, by an optional slide.
- the milling rotor in an adjustable manner.
- it can be adjustable in a direction perpendicular to the first blow bar in order to adjust the milling depth.
- the two operating modes can also be implemented with a milling device which has only one blow bar, but the milling rotor is reversible in its direction of rotation.
- the milling rotor is connected, for example, to a reversible drive device.
- the milling rotor can then be replaced or reversed. In a first operating position, it mills forward, if it is turned, it mills backwards with the drive device running in reverse.
- Two separate milling rotors can also be provided, which are then exchanged.
- the milling rotor and the drive device form a structural unit which is provided with a turning device. The milling device thus works into the receiving space in a first operating position and out of the receiving space in a second operating position.
- a further blow bar can be provided on the rear side of the blade to improve the crushing of material.
- the blow bar can be provided on a cover which covers the milling rotor protruding from the milling space at least in sections.
- a conveying device can be arranged in the receiving space, which serves to support the filling of the receiving space when the milling rotor throws material into the receiving space.
- the conveying device can serve to feed material from the receiving space to the milling rotor when the milling rotor mills material that sags out of the receiving space.
- the conveyor device can have one or more rotatably driven rollers. These can be driven in the same or opposite directions and have a profiled or a smooth surface.
- it can be provided, if necessary, that the positions of the feed rollers in the receiving space are adjustable.
- the roller drives can be derived individually or from a common drive.
- the drives can be designed to be reversible. Preferably he
- rollers extend over the entire width of the receiving space, their axes of rotation preferably being aligned parallel to the axis of rotation of the milling rotor.
- the passage opening can be designed as a slot, as a larger opening or as a sieve. Training as a slot or as a sieve has the advantage that the material is classified when it enters the receiving space.
- the through opening can be provided with a removable sieve.
- a closure device can be provided which regulates the size of the through opening.
- a dispenser device can be provided on the milling device. This can mouth into the recording room. Alternatively or alternatively, it can flow into the milling space.
- An additive can thus be added to the material to be processed. This can be, for example, a liquid or a solid (powder).
- a scattering device can be provided which scatters the desired additive into the receiving space or into the milling space.
- the storage container can be arranged on the milling device, on the carrier vehicle or set up separately.
- the closure device can be formed by a pivotably mounted cover.
- the suction device can be used to suction material that has been shredded from the milling rotor and to record it separately or to minimize dust formation.
- the suction device can be connected to a hood optionally covering the rotor.
- the hood can also be provided with a scraper, the height of which can be adjusted if necessary.
- FIG. 1 shows the milling device in a schematic, partially sectioned side view, in a first operating mode
- FIG. 2 shows the milling device according to FIG. 1 in a second operating mode in a schematic side view

- FIG. 5 shows the milling device according to FIG. 4 in a second operating mode.
- FIG. 1 illustrates a milling device 1 which, for example, can replace an excavator bucket or the shovel of a wheel loader or is guided by another device.
- the milling device 1 has a blade 2 which encloses a receiving space 3. This has a receiving opening 4 on the top of the blade 2, which opening is closed by a cover 5. Teeth 6 can be formed on the edge of the receiving opening 4.
- the lid 5 is pivotally mounted on a holder 7. It can be provided with a sucking opening 8, to which a suction device is connected via a suction line 9. This can be carried by the device carrying the milling device 1 or set up separately.
- a milling space 12 is separated by a partition 11, in which a milling rotor 14 is arranged such that it can rotate.
- This is equipped with tools 15, for example hard metal chisels, which serve for material comminution or mixing and which are inclined in the direction of rotation D.
- the milling rotor 14 is rotatably driven by a drive device, not shown.
- the milling rotor 14 can extend over the entire blade width or only partially occupy it.
- the cutter rotor (s) 14 are preferably approximately cylindrical. However, conical, rounded or otherwise shaped milling rotors can also be used.
- a blow bar 16 is assigned to the milling rotor 14, which is preferably on the underside of the blade 2 is arranged in the immediate vicinity of the milling rotor 14. The blow bar 16 extends over the entire width of the milling rotor 14 and is at a radial distance from the latter.
- a cutting gap 17 is formed, which limits the size of the fragments 18 produced.
- the blow bar 16 can be mounted on the milling rotor 14 so as to be adjustable and away from it, in order to be able to adjust the cutting gap 17. In addition, the arrangement can be such that the height of the blow bar 16 is adjustable. In this way, the milling depth of the milling rotor 14 can be set.
- a through-opening 19 is arranged in the partition 11 and lies behind the blow bar 16 with respect to the direction of rotation D of the rotor 14.
- the passage opening 19 serves e.g. to request the fragments 18 m generated by the milling process the receiving space 3.
- the passage opening 19 can be assigned an adjustable slide 21 which limits the size of the passage opening in accordance with the setting made by an adjusting device 22.
- a fixed or a replaceable screen, a bar screen or the like be provided.
- a sieve 23 can also be arranged in the passage opening 19 in order to classify the material produced by the milling rotor 14.
- the partition 11 is completely eliminated, so that the receiving space 3 and the milling space 12 merge into one another.
- a second beater bar 24 can be arranged in the milling space 12 behind the through-opening 19, and limits a gap 25 with the milling rotor 14.
- the blow bar 24 can be arranged fixed or alternatively adjustable. For example, you can use the slider 21 connected and carried by this. Alternatively, it can be provided with a separate holding device and be adjustable with respect to the direction of rotation D or also on the milling rotor 14 hm and away from it.
- the milling rotor 14 protruding there from the milling space can be covered by a hood 26, which serves to prevent the milling rotor 14 from throwing material out of its working area.
- the hood extends to about the same height of the blow bar 16. At its lower end, it can be provided with a third blow bar 27, which can be used for further material clamping.
- the hood 26 can carry a scraper 28, which is formed, for example, by a shield that is adjustable in height. It can be slidably mounted in a vertical guide 29 and can be adjusted by means of an adjusting device 31.

- the milling rotor rotates in a clockwise direction (direction of rotation D), driven by a drive device (not illustrated further).
- the milling device 1 is held by a carrier 39 in the position illustrated in FIG. 1 and is slowly moved from right to left (arrow direction 41).
- the blow bar 16 slides on the bottom layer 38.
- the blade 2 loads over the blow bar 16 on the floor.
- the rotating milling rotor 14 removes fragments from the pending bottom layer 38, which are thrown upward through the cutting gap 17. They pass through the passage opening 19 into the receiving space 3, which gradually fills up.
- the filling can be supported by the roller 34 and, if appropriate, by a further roller 42 indicated by dashed lines, which can also belong to the conveying device 33.
- the receiving space 3 fills up gradually. If it is sufficiently filled, the bucket can be emptied by moving it away from the place of work with the carrier 39 and emptying it, for example, on the loading area of a truck. In addition, the bucket 2 can be used for normal digging work. For example, loose material that has remained on the trench bottom 32 can be picked up with the shovel 2. If there are softer soil layers below the soil layer 38, these can be picked up directly with the blade 2.
- the suction device is sufficiently effective to suck the fragments 18 out of the receiving space 3 via the suction line 9, it is also possible to work continuously.
- the breaking pieces 18 produced are sucked out of the receiving space 3 and recorded separately '. Only larger parts remain in the receiving space 3 if they should get into it.

- the carrier 39 now holds the milling device 1 above the bottom 45.
- the milling rotor 14 rotates in the direction of rotation D.
- the material mixture 44 passes through the through opening 19 to the milling rotor 14. If the partition 11 is omitted or removed, it can also be very coarse or tough -bmdm material are processed.
- the milling rotor 14 now comminutes the coarse components 43 on the blow bar 24. Finer components are simply required by the milling rotor 14.
- the dispenser device 37 can also be put into operation, which provides the milling material with an additive from the storage space 36.
- a supply line can also be provided, via which the aggregate is supplied to the dispenser device 37 from a remote supply or from a supply on the carrier vehicle.
- the milling device presented can therefore not only be used for digging work, but also for pure material preparation, e.g. Breaking, crushing, mixing, feeding of food, water for dust binding.
- FIG. 4 illustrates a modified embodiment of the milling device 1 according to the invention.
- the milling device according to FIG. 4 can be provided with a sieve 23 at its through opening 19 or with a free through opening. If necessary, the conveyor device 33 (not shown) and the cover 5 can be provided, and the dispenser device 37 and the hood 26 can also be provided together with the scraper 28.
- the reservoir 36 of the dispenser device 37 is then to the right and left of a drive device 51 provided for driving the milling rotor 14, ie in front of and behind this drive device 51 in FIG. 4.
- the drive device 51 is arranged approximately in the center of the blade 2, ie approximately in the Area of the holder 7 on which the carrier 39 attaches. It drives the milling rotor 14, which is rotatably mounted on a holder 52, via a chain 53 or another gear.
- the drive device 51 is, for example, a hydraulic motor.
- the drive device 51 forms with the rotor 14 a milling unit 54, which is linearly adjustable as a whole in a direction 55 extending transversely (approximately at right angles) to the blow bar 16.
- the direction 55 is approximately perpendicular to one of the flat sides of the blow bar 16.
- the milling depth can thus be regulated.
- a corresponding guiding and adjusting device 56 is arranged in the blade 2. The adjustment is effected, for example, by a hydraulic adjusting device 57.
- the milling device 1 illustrated in FIG. 4 can work as a soil milling unit when breaking through soil layers 38, as illustrated in FIG. 4. Besides, can the milling rotor can be used at a greater depth to mill solid layers, e.g. rock layers. Broken-off material is demanded in the form of fragments 18 through the passage opening 19 or the sieve 23 into the receiving space 3.
- the hydraulic adjusting device 57 is controlled in such a way that the milling rotor 14 is moved out of the milling space 12 in the direction 55. It is then turned 180 ° by rotation about a vertical axis 58 and drawn back into the milling space 12. It then has the position illustrated in FIG. 5, in which the tools 16 point against the original direction of rotation D and thus in the reverse rotation direction R. The entire milling unit 54 has thus been extracted.
- the material mixture 44 located in the receiving space 3 can now reach the milling rotor 14 through the passage opening 19. This rotates in the reverse direction of rotation R.
- the coarse components 43 are crushed by the tools 16 of the milling rotor 14 on the blow bar 16.
- additive can be added by means of the dispenser device 37.
