Damit ein Benutzer Eier aus der Eierverpackung entnehmen kann, muß er die Lasche mit den Haltevorsprüngen so relativ zu dem Deckelteil mit den Öffnungen bewegen, daß die Haltevorsprünge nicht mehr in die Öffnungen eingreifen, so daß das Deckelteil freigegeben ist und geöffnet werden kann. Beim Zuklappen faßt das Deckelteil über die an dem Unterteil angeordnete Verschlußlasche, wobei die Haltenasen in die Öffnungen am Dekkelteil eingreifen und es damit verriegeln. Diese Art von Eierverpackungen weist zwar eine große Verbreitung auf, ist jedoch in der Handhabung, wie aus vorstehender Beschreibung ersichtlich, verhältnismäßig umständlich. Eine erfindungsgemäße Eierverpackung umfaßt ein Unterteil 1
als erste Gehäusehälfte, ein Oberteil 2 als zweite Gehäusehälfte,
ein das Unterteil und das Oberteil 2 verbindendes
Scharnier 3 und eine Verschlußeinrichtung 4 zum Sichern des
Oberteils 2 an dem Unterteil 1. Die erfindungsgemäße Eierverpackung
ist vorzugsweise aus einem Faserstoffmaterial hergestellt.
Dieses hat den Vorteil, daß es preiswert ist und sich
gut zur Verarbeitung im Naßpressverfahren eignet. Es soll

Scharnier 3 zur klappbaren Verbindung mit dem Oberteil 2 angeordnet.
Es handelt sich bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel
um ein einfaches Biegescharnier, daß einstückig mit
dem Unterteil 1 und dem Oberteil 2 ausgeführt ist.The

40 ist über ein weiteres Biegescharnier 44 mit
dem vorderen Rand des Unterteils 1 verbunden; das Biegescharnier
44 ist vorzugsweise einstückig mit dem Unterteil 1 und
der Verschlußlasche 40 ausgebildet. An der scharniernahen
Seite der Verschlußlasche 40 sind zwei topfartige Vertiefungen
42 ausgebildet. Die Vertiefungen sind so orientiert, daß
sich ihr Grund unterhalb der von der Verschlußlasche 40 aufgespannten
Ebene befindet. Aus dem Grund der topfartigen Vertiefungen
42 wachsen zwei Erhebungen 41 hervor. Sie sind so
ausgebildet, daß sie nach oben aus der durch die Verschlußleiste
40 gebildeten Ebene herausragen. Die Erhebungen 41
sind im Querschnitt etwa keilförmig mit einer ausgeprägten
Schrägfläche, die zu dem an der Rückseite des Unterteils 1
angeordneten Scharnier 3 gewandt ist. Eine genauere Darstellung
des Unterteils 1 mit samt der daran angeordneten Verschlußlasche

180°-Stellung gegenüber dem Unterteil 1 einnimmt. An einer
Vorderseite 21 des Deckelteils 2 sind zwei Öffnungen 45 als
Halteelemente vorgesehen. Sie sind so angeordnet, daß sie im
zugeklappten Zustand des Deckelteils 2 mit den Erhebungen 41
zusammenwirken, so daß die Erhebungen 41 in die Öffnungen 45
greifen und das Deckelteil 2 in seiner relativen Position gegenüber
dem Unterteil 1 fixieren.The

und 4 dargestellt. Dort ist das Deckelteil 2 in einer nahezu
zugeklappten Stellung (Figur 3) und in einer vollständig zugeklappten
Stellung (Figur 4) dargestellt. Wenn die erfindungsgemäße
Eierverpackung nach dem Einsetzen der Eier verschlossen
werden soll, wird das Deckelteil 2 mittels des
Scharniers 3 in Richtung auf das Unterteil 1 geklappt. Nach
einem bestimmten Klappwinkel erreicht das Deckelteil 2 eine
solche Position, bei welcher ein Rand 23 der Vorderseite 21
die Verschlußlasche 40 der Verschließeinrichtung 4 berührt.
Genauer gesagt sind es die Bereiche des Rands 23 unmittelbar
unter den Öffnungen 45, welche die Erhebungen 41 der Verschlußlasche
40 im Bereich ihrer Schrägfläche berühren. Wird
das Deckelteil 2 nun weiter bewegt, so wirkt es mit dem Rand
23 auf die Schrägflächen der Erhebungen 41 ein und bewirkt
so, daß die Verschlußlasche 40 nach unten zu dem Unterteil
hin geschwenkt wird. Die Schrägflächen an den Erhebungen 41
erleichtern diesen Vorgang, indem sie ein Verhaken verhindern.
Bei der weiteren Zuklappbewegung des Deckelteils 2 wird
die Verschlußlasche 40 weiter nach unten geschwenkt, bis
schließlich das Deckelteil 2 mit seinem Rand vollständig auf
dem Rand des Unterteils 1 aufliegt. Die Eierverpackung ist
dann in ihrem zugeklappten Zustand. Die Anordnung der Löcher
45 an der Vorderseite 21 des Deckelteils 2 ist so gewählt,
daß in diesem Zustand die Öffnungen 45 mit den Erhebungen 41
zur Deckung kommen. Dadurch können die Erhebungen 41 in die
Öffnungen 45 eingreifen und so das Deckelteil 2 in der zugeklappten
Stellung sichern. Es versteht sich, daß sich die
Verschlußlasche 40 mit den Erhebungen 41 wieder ein wenig zurückbewegen
muß, damit die Erhebungen 41 satt in die Öffnungen
45 greifen können; dies wird in der Regel problemlos auch
durch die natürliche Elastizität der Anlenkung der Verbindungslasche
40 mittels des Scharniers 44 erreicht. Hat die
Verschlußlasche 40 schließlich ihre Verriegelungsposition
eingenommen, so befindet sie sich in einer Position, bei der
sie die unebene Vorderseite 11 des Unterteils 1 zumindest

und bei dem Öffnungsvorgang nicht umgegriffen zu werden
braucht. Das Öffnen kann aber auch so erfolgen, daß die Verbindungslasche
an einer Stelle, an der sie nicht von der Vorderseite
21 des Deckelteils 2 bedeckt ist, mit einem Finger
zurückgedrückt und dann mit den übrigen Fingern der Hand das
Deckelteil 2 aufgeklappt wird. Die erfindungsgemäße Eierverpackung
erlaubt also auf verschiedene Weise ein besonders
