Abstract

L'invention concerne un outil de dévidage et d'application d'adhésifs et un procédé permettant d'appliquer des bandes adhésives en série, notamment sur des parties superficielles de carrosseries de véhicules. L'outil de dévidage et d'application d'adhésifs comprend un support pour un rouleau de bande adhésive muni de la bande adhésive à appliquer, un rouleau d'application pour appliquer la bande adhésive dévidée du rouleau de bande adhésive et un dispositif de retenue monté en amont du rouleau d'application et destiné à mettre à disposition la bande adhésive dévidée du rouleau de bande adhésive, entre deux opérations d'application. Le dispositif de retenue sert en outre à appliquer par pression la bande adhésive maintenue disponible sur la surface à coller, afin d'induire une opération d'application. La bande adhésive appliquée par pression par le dispositif de retenue, après mouvement vers l'avant de l'outil de dévidage et d'application d'adhésifs est ensuite prise en charge par le rouleau d'application qui peut se déplacer sensiblement perpendiculairement au plan de la bande adhésive appliquée par pression, dans le sens de ladite bande adhésive, et s'utilise pour appliquer la bande adhésive par commande asservie en force.
