Definitions

  • the invention relates to a portable on the body of a person tool bag with at least one receptacle for at least one tool.
  • Tool bags are used, for example, by carpenters, roofers, elevator fitters, chimney makers and overhead line fitters. These tool bags are usually worn on the body of the person and take the usual tools, such. As hammer, wrench, screwdriver, pliers or the like. which the respective person regularly needs in their workplace. For example, such tool bags are often formed as belt pockets, which carries the respective person on her belt. When working with tools, it can not be avoided that the working person drops the tool from his hand. The subsequent search for the tool is usually annoying and time consuming. In addition, when working at a higher altitude there is the danger that other people may be injured by the falling tool.
  • the present invention is concerned with the problem of providing for a tool bag of the type mentioned an embodiment that prevents tool loss when working.
  • the invention is based on the general idea to secure each tool with a three-dimensionally flexible securing chord to the tool bag, wherein the respective securing chord is attached to the associated tool and attached to the tool pocket extendable and self-recovering.
  • each safety chord is attached by means of a pull-out and return device to the tool bag.
  • a "three-dimensionally flexible securing chord” is here understood to mean a cord, a rope, a wire rope, a leash or even a chain, wherein the securing chord can transmit sufficient tensile forces and has sufficient tensile strength.
  • each tool connected to a safety chord is secured captive on the tool bag.
  • the three-dimensional flexibility of the retaining chord ensures unhindered working with the respective tool.
  • the self-retrieval arrangement ensures that the safety chord always occupies a minimal space and in particular no disturbing loops, with which the respective person could get caught on obstacles. Especially when plugged into the associated recording tool, the safety chord is almost completely brought back and safely stowed.
  • the backup chord is arranged extendable and self-recovering on the tool bag, the tool bag for each safety chord on a pull-out and return device, which allows the pullout and an automatic retrieval of the backup chord.
  • a pull-out and return device has, for example, a spring-loaded coil on which the securing line is wound. When pulling out the safety chord this is unwound from the coil, with tension the spring means. The automatic retrieval is then due to the spring force which drives the coil for winding the backup chord.
  • Known Aufzieh- and return devices are used for example as a keychain and therefore need not be explained in detail.
  • a tendon capsule can be provided for each securing chord, each having a housing in which the pull-out and return device is housed and which is attached to the tool bag.
  • This tendon capsule thus forms a separately mountable unit, which simplifies the manufacture of the tool bag.
  • the housing of the tendon capsule with quick-fastening means, such. Clip or push button, releasably attached to the tool bag. This measure facilitates the production of the tool bag and, if appropriate, the replacement of a defective tendon capsule.
  • the tool bag may comprise a carrier body, e.g. made of leather, on the front side of which the at least one receptacle is arranged and on the rear side of which the associated securing chord is fastened by means of its pull-out and return device, wherein the securing chord penetrates the carrier body in a passage opening.
  • a carrier body e.g. made of leather
  • the at least one receptacle is arranged and on the rear side of which the associated securing chord is fastened by means of its pull-out and return device, wherein the securing chord penetrates the carrier body in a passage opening.
  • a closable cover can be mounted on the back of the carrier body, which covers the pull-out and return device of the securing line in the closed state and which allows access to the pull-out and return device of the securing line in the open state.
  • the steel retaining chords e.g. Steel cord
  • an electrically insulating material e.g. made of nylon.
  • the backup chord made of an electrically insulating material.
  • a reserve securing chord with associated extraction and return device can be arranged on the tool pocket, which is not associated with one of the shots associated tool.
  • a tool pocket 1 can be designed, for example, as a belt pocket 19 and accordingly have at least one, here two belt loops 2 with the aid of which the tool pocket 1 can be fastened to a belt.
  • the tool bag 1 has a carrier body 3, which consists of a relatively robust material, eg from a coarse leather.
  • a plurality of receptacles 4 here three receptacles 4a, 4b and 4c are formed, each of which serves to receive a tool 5.
  • the tools 5 are a screwdriver 5a, a pliers 5b and a wrench 5c.
  • the receptacles 4a, 4b, 4c may be formed by a neoprene piece 6, which is fastened on the front side of the carrier body 3.
  • the neoprene piece 6 is sewn onto the carrier body 3.
  • the receptacles 4a to 4c thus formed are characterized by high holding forces for the tool 5a to 5c introduced therein and by a high degree of flexibility for different tool geometries.
  • neoprene is very robust and weatherproof.
  • each tool 5 is associated with a securing chord 7, which is fastened to the tool 5 and held on the tool pocket 1 in an extendable and self-retracting manner.
  • This mounting takes place in each case by means of an extraction and return device 30 described below with reference to FIG. 4.
  • the safety chord 7 consists for example of a steel cable. It is also possible to manufacture the securing chord 7 from a chain or from a cord or from a rope. Furthermore, it is possible to use an electrically insulating material for the securing chord 7, for example, the securing chord 7 made of nylon.
  • the safety chord 7 is dimensioned so that it is three-dimensionally flexible and has the required tensile and tear resistance. At its extendable end the securing chord 7 is fastened by means of a ring 8 on the respective tool 5. In the wrench 5 c, this ring 8 is disposed between the ends of the wrench 5 c and has an inner cross section, which prevents withdrawal of the wrench 5 c from the ring 8.
  • a coupling member 11, with which the securing chord 7 is attached to the ring 8, may preferably be designed so that rotational movements between the ring 8 and securing chord 7 are possible without causing a twisting of the securing chord 7.
  • the special tool pocket 1 shown here is additionally equipped with a reserve securing chord 7a, which is arranged here below the neoprene piece 6 on the carrier body 3. At this reserve backup chord 7a, an exceptionally needed additional tool or the like. be attached.
  • the safety chords 7 penetrate the carrier body 3 in each case in a passage opening 12, which may be formed for example by a metal eyelet.
  • the retaining chords 7 are held on the tool pocket 1 extendable, so that the tools 5 with attached securing chord 7 are removable from their recordings 4 and can be used in the usual way.
  • the three-dimensional flexibility of the securing chord 7 ensures the greatest possible freedom of movement.
  • a closable cover 13 can be attached by means of two zip fasteners 14 to the rear side of the carrier body 3 facing the viewer. In Fig. 3, the cover 13 is closed while it is open in Fig. 4.
  • a tendon capsule 15 is arranged at the rear side of the carrier body 3 for each securing chord 7.
  • These tendon capsules 15 each have a housing 16, in each of which one of the extraction and return means 30 is housed, which cooperates with the associated securing chord 7 for pulling out and retrieving.
  • This pull-out and return device 30 consists for example of a coil 31 which is rotatably mounted concentrically to a fixed pin 32. Between the bolt 32 and the coil 31, a return spring 33 is arranged. On the coil 31, the backup chord 7 is wound up. When removing the securing chord 7 this is unwound from the coil 31, which rotates about the bolt 32 and the return spring 33 biases. When retrieving drives the return spring 33, the coil 31 for winding the securing chord 7 at.
  • the tendon capsules 15 are attached to the back of the carrier body 3, with quick-fastening means being preferred.
  • the carrier body 3 is double-walled and has on the back of an insertion slot 17 into which a clip pocket 18 can be inserted, which is formed on the housing 16.
  • the middle tendon capsule 15 is shown broken.
  • the double-walledness of the carrier body 3 can be achieved, for example, by a plate 29, for example made of plastic or leather, inserted therein, in which the insertion slots 17 are formed.
  • a plate 29 also the rigidity and stability of the entire tool bag 1 can be increased.
  • an additional plate e.g. made of leather or plastic, be placed on the support body 3.
  • This plate is suitably shaped congruent to the Neopren macles 4 without interference contour.
  • the Neopren macles 4 are suitably sewn together on the support body 3.
  • the tendon capsules 15 When open cover 13 as shown in FIG. 4, the tendon capsules 15 are accessible and can be mounted or dismounted. When closed cover 13 as shown in FIG. 3, the tendon capsules 15 are housed covered and protected.
  • the lower reserve fuse string 7a is also provided with an associated tendon capsule 15.
  • the pull-out and return means 30 of the securing chords 7a are formed so that a return tension is permanently introduced into the securing line 7. Accordingly, the safety chords 7 are always taut to ensure the shortest, straight-line connection between the tool pocket 1 and tool 5. This is particularly advantageous in tight jobs.
  • At least one of the pull-out and return means 30 may be designed so that the self-recovery of the securing chord 7 takes place only when the securing chord 7 has been pulled out to a maximum extent, that is, to a stop. This means that the securing chord 7 is arranged relatively loosely between tool 5 and tool bag 1 after their removal. Only after the maximum extraction, the return tension is introduced into the backup chord 7. This embodiment may facilitate working with the tool 5 in certain applications.
  • FIG. 5 different embodiments can be realized for the tool bag 1.
  • the tool bag 1 as a braces 20, as Oberarmholster 21, as Unterarmmanschette 22, as a thigh holster 23, as a calf cuff 24 or as a belt 25 be configured.
  • Fig. 6 is also a training as vest 26 or jacket with or without sleeves possible.
  • a further particular embodiment is shown in which the tool bag 1, for example in the form of a thigh holster 23 with a hook and loop fastener 27 on a piece of clothing, for example on a pair of pants 28, can be releasably attached.
  • the tool bag 1 is designed in all the embodiments shown here so that it is portable on the body of a person, it is understood that the tool pocket 1 according to the invention, at least temporarily, also on another object, e.g. on a scaffold or the like. is fastened.
