Definitions
- the technical sector of the present invention is that monitoring devices in the control systems transmission of information.
- Man / machine interfaces require reliable operation throughout the transmission chain informations.
- the indicators of digital display speed used on the network railways require constant monitoring of information displayed. It is easy to understand that for a speed of 360 km / h requiring a stopping distance of about 3600 meters for 36 seconds, it is imperative to check the relevance of the information displayed. That's why, it takes make sure this information is not displayed on the screen.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a surveillance device capable of securing information displayed on a screen and in particular able to verify if the display is not frozen.
- the subject of the invention is therefore a device for monitoring of a screen intended to monitor the conformity of information entered in relation to those issued by a electronic module, characterized in that it comprises a means for comparing a first data displayed on the screen delivered by a generator and a second data read from the screen by a detection means.
- the first given by the generator appears on a zone of separate screen detection useful information to a user.
- the first datum is all-or-nothing type.
- the first data is of the random type.
- the first data is displayed on the screen according to a cycle periodic square white / black / white.
- the means Detection is a brightness sensor.
- the detection means is arranged substantially to the right of the detection zone.
- the detection means transforms reading the first data in the detection zone in a signal transmitted to a transformation module.
- the module of transformation delivers the second data by means of comparison.
- the module of transformation delivers the second data in a form of all or nothing type or random by means of comparison.
- the comparison means advantageously confronts the second piece of data read by the detection means and the first datum emitted by the generator.
- the comparison means requests a alarm in the absence of correlation between the first datum and the second data.
- the comparison means measures a time lag between the emission of the first data by the generator and the reception of the second data.
- the means of comparison solicits an alarm for a time offset greater than a setpoint.
- the means of comparison measures the warm-up time of the screen.
- the electronic module includes a monostable device.
- a very first advantage of the monitoring device according to the invention lies in the fact that it detects and secures the defects of electronic connectivity, glass / LCD connection, backlight, crystals liquids.
- Another advantage of the device according to the invention lies on the fact that it works for all processes display using any type of technology.
- Another advantage is that its operation is fast, automatic for a cost negligible in the face of the improvement in the level of security provides.
- Another advantage of the invention lies in its function alarm, measurement and integrated maintenance.
- the device indeed allows a real measurement of optical switching by the amount of light energy restored. Similarly, he measures the reheating time.
- Another advantage lies in the fact that the device according to the invention allows the removal of the sensor from screen temperature present in most technologies display.
- FIG. 1 shows a screen 1 observed by a 2.
- This screen 1 is separated into two areas, one of which called the display zone 3 and the other detection zone 4.
- the display area 3 delivers the information necessary to 2.
- the zone 4 is substantially disposed in a corner of the screen, especially at the bottom right. It is well sure that the invention could not be limited to this disposition. Indeed, this zone can advantageously be placed on strategic lines or columns for the display area 3 or user 2, and thus increase the security level.
- Screen 1 is connected by a driver 17 to an electronic module 5 comprising mainly a data generator 6 and a means of comparison 7.
- the data generator 6 emits the information needed for display area 3 and the area 4.
- This information is transformed into stimuli electric by an electronic processing system 9 disposed near the screen 1. Among this information circulates a first data symbolized by the arrow 8 plus particularly devolved to the detection zone 4.
- the comparison means 7 is connected on the one hand to the generator 6 by a driver 18 through which he receives a data symbolized by the arrow 8a substantially identical to the first datum 8 sent to the screen, on the other hand to a transformation module 10 via a 19.
- the comparison means 7 is able to send information 20 to control an alarm 21 by via a conductor 14. This alarm is of the type known and it is not necessary to describe it in more detail.
- the comparison means 7 also transmits information 22 on a conductor 23 to an acknowledgment and reversal module 15.
- the transformation module 10 is connected by a electrical conductor 12 to a detection means 11 which can advantageously be a brightness sensor. This one, from relatively small size, is disposed substantially opposite the detection zone 4. We notice in this mode of realization that the detection means 11 is visible by the user 2. This detection means 11 sends stimuli 13a by the driver 12 to the module of transformation 10 that will convert them into a second given 13. The latter is transmitted by comparison 7 by the driver 19.
- FIG. 1 shows the presence of a device monostable 16 called more commonly watchdog electronic. It is connected on one side to the driver 23 and the other to the driver 14.
- FIG. 2 a sectional view of FIG. the screen 1 of the monitoring device according to a second mode of realization.
- the detection means 11 is integrated in the rear face 24 of the screen. Electrical stimuli corresponding to the first datum 8 are reflected on a mirror 26 arranged by any means or integrated on a front face 27 of the screen visible to the user 2.
- Driving optical 25 is practiced in the screen to set mirror 26 with the detection means 11. The electrical stimuli are therefore referred to the means of detection 11 by the mirror 26.
- the advantage of this mode of realization is based on the fact that the detection means becomes invisible by the user.
- the operation of the monitoring device according to the invention is as follows. Referring to Figure 1, sees that the generator 6 sends the first datum 8. This data will materialize in the detection zone 4. In the same time, the generator 6 sends the image 8a of the first data 8 by means of comparison 7. The detection means 11 will then scan zone 4 and emit electrical stimuli 13a, which will be transformed into a second datum 13 by the transformation module 10.
- the comparison means 7 is then in the presence, at lag of internal processing near, of the first and the second data and can compare them.
- the means of comparison transmits a signal 22 to the acknowledgment module and inversion 15 which will allow the generator to transmit a other data, different from the previous one, for a new comparison.
- the signal 22 is also transmitted to the device monostable 16 who, on receiving it, attests to the good operation of the electronic module 5.
- the comparison means then sends a signal 20 to trigger an alarm 21.
- User 2 is thus warned of the presence of a defect and can then take the necessary measures.
- This alarm can also be engaged by the monostable device 16 through a signal 28 if the comparison is no longer effective, for example, in case of failure of one of the elements of the electronic module 15.
- Figures 3 and 4 are illustrations of the first data 8 displayed in the detection zone 4.
- This data 8 is called all or nothing because in this example it goes through two fundamentally opposed states ie the white or black, zero or one.
- the area detection 4 is black and corresponds, for example, to a state logic equal to zero.
- This state is representative of the first data 8 and data 8a sent to comparison means 7.
- the detection means 11, facing this black zone, does not emit of electrical stimulus 13a to the transformation module 10. The latter will therefore transcribe this absence into a state logical equal to zero for the second data 13.
- the means of comparison analyzes the first and second data and concludes that they are identical. It then emits a signal 22 to proceed to a second monitoring phase described below.
- the generator After acknowledgment and inversion, the generator emits the first datum 8 according to a logical state equal to one.
- the zone of detection 4 then becomes white as shown in FIG. 4.
- the detection means 11 is then activated and transforms the brightness following the presence of white stimuli electric 13a.
- the transformation module 10 transcribes these stimuli in a logical state equal to one for the second given 13.
- the comparator 7 then confronts the first and the second data and concludes as previously described.
