Abstract

The belt (6) conveying the line of tobacco runs along the base of a duct (7). The guide has adjacent single segments or elements (4) in at least one guide groove (12) belonging to a holder (1) to which they are fixed preferably by threaded pins. The duct for the line of tobacco is attached to the holder and single elements, and has its opposite end open. The guide surfaces of the single elements and of the holder contain air-holes (2,5) for suction air flowing through the duct, single elements, conveyor belt and holder.
