Abstract

Es wird ein Fahrzeugsitz (10) mit einer auf einer Basis (16) angeordneten Sitzplatte (12) und mit einer zur Gewichtseinstellung vorgesehenen Federeinrichtung (40) beschrieben, die mit einer Gewichtseinstellung-Betätigungseinrichtung (44) verbunden ist. Der Gewichtseinstell-Betätigungseinrichtung (44) ist eine Niveau-Anzeigeeinrichtung (46) zugeordnet, die zur Anzeige der Einstellung der Sitzplatte (12) auf das dem Gewicht des jeweiligen Sitzbenutzers in bezug auf den Federweg (48) der Sitzplatte (12) optimal entsprechenden Sitzplatten-Niveaus vorgesehen ist. Eine optimale Betätigbarkeit und Einstellbarkeit des Fahrzeugsitzes wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Niveau-Anzeigeeinrichtung (46) und die Gewichtseinstell-Betätigungseinrichtung (44) am Vorderrand (94) der Sitzplatte (12) mittig vorgesehen sind.
