Abstract
Eine Vorheizeinheit (40) für eine Fixierbaugruppe (10) einer elektrostatischen Reproduktionsvorrichtung. Die Vorheizeinheit (40) umfasst ein Gehäuse (42), das eine Innenkammer (44) bildet. Ein Heizelement (46) ist in der Innenkammer (44) des Gehäuses angeordnet. Es ist ein Luftströmungssystem (50) vorhanden, das einen Lüfter (52) umfasst sowie eine Verteilerkammer (56a), die in Strömungsverbindung zwischen dem Lüfter (52) und dem Heizelement (46) steht. In der zur Transportbahn (P) benachbarten Kammeröffnung ist ein Aufprallelement (60) angeordnet. Eine Aufprallkammer (58) steht in Strömungsverbindung zwischen dem Heizelement (46) und dem Aufprallelement (60), während ein Rückführweg (62) in Strömungsverbindung mit der Öffnung und dem Lüfter (52) steht.A preheating unit (40) for a fixing assembly (10) of an electrostatic reproduction apparatus. The preheating unit (40) comprises a housing (42) which forms an inner chamber (44). A heating element (46) is arranged in the inner chamber (44) of the housing. There is an air flow system (50) including a fan (52) and a distribution chamber (56a) in fluid communication between the fan (52) and the heating element (46). In the adjacent to the transport path (P) chamber opening an impact element (60) is arranged. An impingement chamber (58) is in fluid communication between the heating element (46) and the impact element (60), while a return path (62) is in fluid communication with the opening and the fan (52).
