Abstract
Um einen Plasmabrenner mit einer Brennkammer, in welcher zwischen einer Elektrode und einer Gegenelektrode ein Lichtbogen erzeugbar ist und dem ein Arbeitsgas zur Plasmabildung zuführbar ist, zu schaffen, welcher variabel einsetzbar ist, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Brennkammer eine Mehrzahl von Brennkammer-Elektroden umfaßt, welche in axialer Richtung bezüglich einer Brennkammerachse aufeinanderfolgend angeordnet sind, wobei jede einzelne Brennkammer-Elektrode individuell strombeaufschlagbar ist. In order to create a plasma torch with a combustion chamber in which an arc can be generated between an electrode and a counterelectrode and to which a working gas for plasma formation can be supplied, which can be used in a variable manner, it is proposed that the combustion chamber comprise a plurality of combustion chamber electrodes, which are arranged successively in the axial direction with respect to a combustion chamber axis, each individual combustion chamber electrode being able to be subjected to current individually.
