Abstract

To control a creel (12), at a textile machine, it has a limited rotation through a swing shaft (14) operated by a torque generator (24,28,30) to deliver a defined torque through a controlled drive (34). The torque generator is linked to the creel through a reduction gear stage (20,22). To control a creel, the torque generator has a coil spring (28). The gear stage can be a belt gearing. The torque generator is connected to the drive shaft of the drive. An additional gear stage (30,32) is between the drive and the torque generator.
